While our waitress was lovely and the ambiance of the restaurant quite nice, we were seated in an area that had a very large dinner party and the noise level was incredibly loud. The food was good but not so much to compensate for the noise level. Decent wine list as well.

Working out the kinks is what our waiter said ... that was an understatement! It took an unbelievable amount of time to get our beverages and food. The beet salad was excellent, scallops were ok, but over-priced for just two and the filet mignon came medium not medium rare. They definitely have a lot of kinks to work out!

Good example of casual dining at ski resort.
Casual dress always a plus for my husband. Spinach salad was fabulous. French onion soup could use a makeover - however I ate it all.

Pleasantly surprised, excellent food, they were very accommodating to special request. Great service! Interior was black and dark feeling. Warming it up some would make it feel more inviting instead of a cave feeling. But, the food was well worth it!

Just an odd place. The staff didn't seem to really know what they were doing. The dining room was brightly lit, the tv was on and they are trying to serve a fine dining menu. The front of the house just did not seem to match what the back of the house was trying to do.

The salads we had were fantastic, fresh and creative. I order d the prime rib and thought it was very salty. The mashed potatoes and veggies were solid. My wife got fish. She thought it was good but thought the broth it was served in was also very salty.

I would not plan to return.

Mediocre, overpriced food (e.g. the pasta dish at $27 was completely bland and lacking any seasoning whatsoever). Awkward dining layout (e.g. we were seated at a table right at the entrance to the back dining area). Did not honor nice table request for special occasion (e.g. seated at awful table despite a booth off to the side being empty). Screaming kids everywhere (I know there's not much the restaurant can do about this but just a warning of what to expect). I really wish we'd gone somewhere else.

We had a party of 10, on split reservations. They rearranged tables to accommodate us. Service was attentive and food was excellent across the board. Scallop appetizer was amazing. I also recommend the adult root beer float.

The food was fresh and delicious; we especially enjoyed the beet salad. We tried the kale salad and they were flexible and willing to mix in other greens as we thought too much kale might overwhelm kids. Pappardelle pasta was tender and delicious, rich but not heavy. Chocolate cake was big enough for our family of four to feel like we got a treat, and it too was wich but not heavy. Service friendly and attentive. Lots of families on vacation, many casually dressed in après ski gear. (We dined early during ski week.)
Overall lovely dinner. Would gladly return when feeling like a splurge!

It was a snowy night. The shuttle was late picking us up so we were late for our reservation. While they had given our table away they did a wonderful job as providing an adequate replacement. We had a wonderful server who was warm, friendly, and we shared a few dinning experiences between us. Went through specials for that evening and mentioned what was not available from the menu. The service was timely and always with smiles and happy conversation. Food was served as ordered, seasoned as expected. We both ordered the prime rib rare, there was a slight toughness to the meal. The side of garlic mashed potatoes was delightful, not overly garlic.

The restaurant was so cold. yes, it's on a ski resort, but we'd eaten here many times before in other seasons and it was never cold. Guests kept on their hats, scarves and coats. The restaurant wasn't very clean and the food was just okay. This was formerly one of our favorite places to dine for a special night out during a ski weekend. on the next trip we take to the mountain, we will be staying in every night. I'm not sure what has happened with the management (nor their budget for heat!), but it was a big disappointment for the price paid.

My meal of the chicken udon was delicious, however, my husbands pork chop was extremely bland as were the Brussel sprouts and the purée under the chop (can't recall what it was). The entire meal had the same bland taste. The singer was very talented and our waitress was friendly, but we won't be returning.

The food here is created with special care. Amazing quality food in a very inconspicuous setting. Best part about it is we've eaten here off and on for several years and the quality has stayed the same, if not better.

Family enjoyed good food, portions reasonably sized, kids menu available. Manager came to every table to ask "how is the food"!
A little overpriced, but so is everything on the ski resorts.

The food was very good and that's all that I can recommend for this restaurant. They charged us gratuity for 6 people, which is illegal in California. One of my friends asked for a non-spicy Bloody Mary and it was spicy, another friend ordered a Lemon Drop and was charged for top shelf liquor that she didn't request. When another friend explained this to the manager, he didn't apologize or offer a refund. Apparently all of the restaurants at Northstar Village charge a resort fee, which we didn't know about or we would have gone into Truckee for dinner.

On a family vacation at Northstar during their off season with our children, who are young adults. Things at the Village were very quiet and we decided to try Tavern 6330' for dinner. We were completely surprised and very pleased with our delicious dinner. Cocktails were creative and unique. Our waiter made recommendations on the appetizers, which were fresh, in season and very imaginative. Entree's were delicious, very generous and all very fresh. Desserts were great as well. It was the best meal of our vacation!

The menu was not as posted online.
We spoke to the waitress and she was apologetic. She recommended several items and they were great. Our steaks were Prepared opposite to instruction and they took care of the mistake happily.
The flavors and the sides were outstanding. I wish the kitche had listened the first time though.

Appetizers were outstanding, but entrees were hit and miss. There were six of us, and half of us had great food but the other half not good. The halibut and chicken need work. Chicken was bland and the halibut was way over-cooked even after it came back a second time. They were nice and didn't charge us for the halibut. The cocktails were phenomenal! Every single one of them. I would definitely come back for appetizers, cocktails and a burger.

This location has a good opportunity to be the best spot in Northstar Village. However, they will need to raise the bar on their food. My jumbo pork chop, ordered medium, was actually two very thin and overcooked pork chops, which had to be sent back. The burgers are good, but expensive at $20. Hopefully, they can improve the menu and preparation as we would like to dine here often.

We went to Tavern 6330' after a long day of skiing at Northstar -- my husband and 4 year old son. Started off with cocktails, one of the Mules with Anejo and Mescal. We thought it was pricey at $16. Would have ordered a second if they were $10 or $12 each.

Not a lot of vegetarian options - I ended up with soup and a salad. They were good. My husband had a meat entree which was pretty good. We ordered my son the kids pasta - plain. He was brought a plate of spinach fettucine. I was slightly surprised they would serve kids spinach pasta. He tried it and did not like it at all. I asked the server for plain pasta, she said they didn't have any at the moment. I was getting mad as the menu said nothing about spinach pasta. A few moments later the manager came over with a plate of plain pasta saying he understood many kids, including his, would not touch spinach pasta. My son ate it up. So, the pasta problem was resolved but should never have occurred in the first place, in my opinion.

All in all, it's a nice enough place. Food is pretty good. Most of the staff was friendly and provided good service. We will go again. However, if it was a restaurant in town rather than in a ski resort village, I'm not sure it would be my first or even my second choice.
