We actually ended up not staying to eat. I came here with my daughter on Thanksgiving and arrived a little early to sit at the bar for a bit first. Based on other reviews this place sounded very good. But we immediately got turned off by the raunchy offensive music that was playing. That isn’t at all music I care to listen too when I go to dinner. The bartender was inattentive and once we decided we weren’t going to stick around for dinner it took me forever to get her attention to pay for the one drink I had. It was a shame because it was not at all like I pictured it would be.
Delicious Mac n cheese and buffalo dip! Big portions !
Quiet neighborhood pub with good food, good service.
Standard tavern menu, had the hangover burger which was decent. Nice service from the staff and we weren’t rushed, bottomless mimosas were frequently refilled (appreciated) but it’s definitely Andre or some very cheap champs. Nothing particularly special about here, the rooftop was cool enough.
The hostess was honestly pretty rude. They won't sit you until your full party is there. So we stood there, until our 4th person's cab arrived. She wouldn't let us even sit at a table as he was in transit. When we arrived we went to our table and the place was maybe 20% full.
I'm fine if that's your policy, however her attitude towards us and general manner was extremely rude.
This restaurant left little to be desired. When we arrived for our 12:30, we were seated at a table upstairs. We waited at least 10 minutes before a waitress came to even bring us water. Meanwhile we watched her walk back and forth to the table beside us three times. When she finally came, we could not even place our drink order because they had not given us a beer menu (even though they rave about their extensive list online). We did ask to put our food in, however, because we had a 2:30 reservation to make. The waitress informed us that even though we were ready to order, we would need to wait at least 15 minutes before we could order because she had two other tables that had not ordered yet and they had to first (even though they were not ready to yet). She also informed us the kitchen was backed up, even though there were only 3 tables seated. She walked away and brought us the beer menu back and then did not return to us for another 10 minutes. At that point, we had already made another reservation somewhere else and went on to enjoy a much better meal there.
We waited an hour for our food. Whenever we needed service, we had to go to the bar to ask. The food was overpriced and mediocre. The music was an ‘90’s playlist that repeated before we got our food.
Rooftop dining is nice. The rest of the restaurant was completely empty. Service was a little slow but food was good.
We had a reservation for 7. The hostess was rude, and just told us to go ahead and find our table, like we knew where to go.. then we didn’t get asked for a drink order for over 20 min and it wasn’t even that busy... we decided to leave and go somewhere else.
The service was amazing, continuously filling up our bottomless drinks. The food was also very good, with good sized portions. It was pretty loud of the roof but was still a great time. Highly recommend!
Loved every minute of it! Great brunch and amazing staff!
The restaurant initially put us in a little alcove table which was very warm and had very small tables not big enough for the banquet seating. We requested to be moved. The food was good and server was very sweet however the food took a very long time to come out.
Inattentive despite our reservation and sat a party so large to us that we literally had no room to sit and actually was so unbearable we got up and left.
Took over an hour and a half for the food. Waiter was unfriendly and unhelpful. Would strongly recommend to not go.
Really fun, Mac & Cheese is great.
Ambiance and food were great, service was also very good. Only would like music to be a little less loud.
It was a great time!
Good pub food, waitstaff overworked, not attentive enough.
Our reservation was for four people at 7pm. We did not receive our food until 840pm. The waiter was very nice and apologetic saying they only had “one kitchen”. The first floor was empty, the second floor was closed and the roof (where we were seated was filling up). Everyone was complaining and the manager kept buying rounds of drinks for the various complaining guests seated around us. Honestly don’t know why they couldn’t accommodate the small group seated on the roof when the rest of the place was empty.
Sit out on the rooftop! Great service and selection.
Burgers were great! Rooftop a bit small but good enough for 5-6 people group since their tables are the bench type. Awesome place
Pretty nice rooftop. Just watch out for the sun
Love this place. The food was tasty, servers were attentive, and the environment was lovely
Food was not all that great. Mimosas were not good and their was a constant loud noise every 30 minutes or so. Sounded like a loud horn.
A vegetarian guest in our party ordered the Veggie burger and was served beef. She didn’t realize it was beef until she took a bite.
There was NO manager interaction. I don’t believe the manager was even notified of the incident as he was seen sharing drinks with the bar staff upstairs.
Our server simply “comped” the burger and proceeded to bring several rounds of unwanted beer/liquor to our table.
Back to the manager: I called an hour before making a reservation to ask whether or not this place had TVs for watching the NBA finals. The manager answered the phone and confirmed they had several TVs, but when I asked if the tavern gets crowded on Friday nights he said “Uh, yeah we already have an hour and a half wait.”
He didn’t ask if I wanted to make a reservation - which I easily made on Open table for a party of 6 in the main dining room. This place was half empty the entire time I was there, which only leads me to believe he’d rather deter patronage in favor of a relaxing night chatting and drinking with the bar staff.
This place needs help in every aspect of service and management.
Four of us went to a bottomless brunch. The waitress was very attentive and continuously checked on us. The food was fantastic as well. I definitely recommend this place.
One thing to know is that all of your party members have to be present to be seated.
Hardly had anything actually available on the menu. Some drinks took ages to arrive and others never did! Not a great experience. Waitress was good, but clearly the place was not up for serving people!
The food was absolutely delicious! The menu is very strict however in a bizarre way. If you wanted to do a slight substitution or change it had to be “okayed”. Very cool spot with an energetic vibe.
Rooftop dinner is an absolute sensation. The service was great. We’ve had a pleasant time!
Got there and was seated in an area with no server. After about 20 minutes of waiting was told I can go upstairs to roof. Shared a table with a group. Still waited for service but a little better. The food was mediocre. The chicken sandwich with sausage gravy had no chicken. The drinks were the only reason tolerable. The brunch menu online is not the brunch menu given. Do not do it.
We sat on the roof top. Our waitress with the pink hi lights was super rude and took forever to take our order. She made us feel like a burden. We had to beg the other waiter to take our order.
We had to move to the first floor to get served but once we did that the service and food was great. More of a bar vibe than a restaurant.
Much less appealing than it looked on the website. Sticky tables and loud music didn’t help either. We didn’t stay for dinner.
With all of the pub restaurants to choose from in Manhattan, this one falls short.
It was not what I expected. It had a loud bar vibe which I guess would be fine for some folks, but we were a group looking for a pleasant place to talk over lunch. Wrong place.
Went for Sunday brunch, it was so much fun! Food was delicious, we chose to do bottomless drinks and our server was so attentive. Will be back for sure!
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the mimosas
My friend and I both got sick after brunch... hopefully that’s not a common occurrence
Great service. Food was delicious.
Went for a bite to eat before a night out with friends. We ordered a bunch of starters and shared. We ordered the risotto, French fry basket, margarita flatbread, burrata, and the quesadilla. Everything was delicious! Would definitely go back again to try their brunch!
