Very good. Loud but food was delicious
We dined on the patio and the atmosphere and service were terrific. So many fascinating items on the menu, will have to go back many times to try them all.
First time at Taste of Belgium. The menu was simple but current and the Brunch All Day is a nice option.
Figured I better start with what they are known for-chicken & waffles!
Waffle was delicious-NO syrup needed, but I prefer chicken with the bone. But it was good.
Will definitely return.
Great food and service. Only downside was the noise level. Would return.
I love ToB. Their food and service has always been great. They have plenty of new and local beers on tap. And I really enjoy the atmosphere. The ToB burger is my favorite. And the waffles are amazing.
Great place to eat. Will go back again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Food was really good. Couldn’t get a 2nd glass of water and was surprised to have been charged $2 for ice that went with my vodka. Can’t say we’ll be back anytime soon.
Noise level very high. Service great, Ham and brie waffle was very good. Hot Brown waffle a little dry. Mussels good. Mimosas need to be chilled. I do not like room temperature wine, had to add ice cubes. Overall a good dinner and will return.
Beer flights were great; too bad I can’t find the one I loved for sale anywhere. Small portions for the cost. Chicken was tough.
taste of belguim was very good and it was very filling, food was good and service was very nice and welcoming.
The food as well as the service were wonderful.
nice. but bro they gave us lemon stuff not regular whip cream. my mom was sad
Allegra, our server was fantastic. she perfectly paces our drinks and meal and provided good guidance. Ask for her and I'm sure you will have a great experience. All four ordered a different thing and allure pleased. Salmon dinner, ham and cheese sandwich, chicken and waffles were all terrific. Of course beer was great.
The entire restaurant was open to the outside. There were cicadas crawling around the restaurant which was concerning. Staff did not seem fazed by this.
Enjoyed dinner. Emily(server) was great!!
Quick and friendly service
Great Food and great service!! Made reservations and did not have to wait.
Great great great great great great great great great
The bacon/cheese omelet that I used to enjoy turned into a small little omelet alone on a plate with a small bowl of fruit......almost flavorless
I had not been here for several years and I did not remember the menu being so extensive. The food was excellent and we brought some desserts home for later. I will definitely be going back sooner this time.
Easy reservations on line, server was prompt and accurate and made several great recommendations. We ate outside but under a canopy so it was open air but covered in case of rain. Very pleasant comfortable environment, and the little cheesecakes and macaroons we bought from the bakery on the way out were wonderful!
Tried sitting us outside and I didn’t request that. Then sat us right by the outside. So it was a little chilly. Other than that was awesome. Great service. And great food and drinks.
Decent food but poor atmosphere. Rather noisy making conversation a challenge.
Great food and outstanding service. We felt that the restaurant kept us safe and well fed.
We have been to several locations and always enjoy our experience. It drive up from Louisville sometimes just for breakfast. Keep up the great work.
very small, love the unlimited mimosas! The chicken is good, they was out of waffles, which was the main reason I went!
Went for a late dinner, food was just ok. It was overcooked and cold by the time it was served. They do breakfast/brunch better.
Excellent handling of COVID restrictions! Our waitress was great! Pretty decent beer and wine menu too!
The best meal I’ve ever had! I cannot wait to go back.
This experience was underwhelming in the warmth and attentiveness of the front of house staff. The hostess was very curt and robotic as she outlined the covid policies immediately after finding my reservation. The front desk was unkempt and the floor sticky- I could hear myself walk and feel the stickiness on my shoes as the hostess strode quickly to table. The server was accommodating and attentive, however those who gathered the desserts I purchased from the bar have a lot of room for improvement. They were grouping too many desserts together in a single box, then handed me the bag to bag myself after I requested an obviously necessary bag for my items. This is a teachable moment- I hope the front of house can use it to welcome back the many patrons that have been away for a year. Not a great showing this time.
Great food great service
Went on a Thursday night for all you can eat mussels. The nice thing is you can try different preparations of the mussels if you wish. It also comes with bread for dipping and frites. Lots of food for $20! We like to sit at the bar, but it was not too crowded and there was plenty of seating and spacing for distance. They have a really wide selection of on tap beers ranging from Belgian to Local. Our bartender was attentive without being intrusive. There are so many good things on the menu that we have tried before - chicken and waffles, beltucky hot-brown, salmon. We will be back soon and make this one of go to places.
I try to be a fan but I am just not. The waffles I end up wuth are alwats very hard. Not sure it is bc they precook them but just anticlimactic.
I just go bc that's where my friends want to go. I make better food at home.
We were seated outside in a plastic enclosure with heat blowing in. When the heat was flowing it was somewhat comfortable but as soon as it went off it got very chilly. We were not given the option to sit inside which I think we would have preferred in hindsight.
Wasn’t the restaurants fault but I really just did not enjoy my meal.
Taste of Belgium is more than waffles and they have a great menu. The Rookwood location is great - open, airy, and very bistro-like.
Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming. We went on a Thursday for 1/2 price wine and all you can eat mussels. Our Provençale mussels were amazing!
We felt Covid precautions were taken seriously and plan to return.
The food was good, they gave good portions! The service was great. I will definitely be back!
Normally we have a great experience here, but this time was pretty dreadful. I made a reservation and specifically requested indoor seating, which we were not given. Instead we were seated in the tented outdoor section, which was freezing. Shivering through dinner isn’t a great start. We were at our table for almost an hour before we got our food, and I ended up having to send my dish back because it was stone cold. I will say that they were very busy and the staff were friendly and apologetic about it, but it was still a pretty miserable dining experience. We had initially planned on getting dessert as well, but by the time we finished dinner we had been there for so long and were so cold that we just went home.
Are your cocktails made for Ken ands Barbie? Particularly your Martinis and Manhattans?
