The berry salad was very tasteful. I ask for honey for my tea and was told by server- Sierra R. there was no honey. My friend as the server - Sierra R. did she check? Sierra R. collected my credit card to pay the bill. Sierra came back with the bill and not my credit card. Sierra R. came back later with my credit card and said oh your card was not in the cover, someone found it on the floor, here it is. REALLY!!
I know they have numerous locations but honestly, as a foodie, I was not a big fan! French fries were not eatable (very greasy), my waffle burger was average at best ( husband concurred) and someone at the table got shrimp & grits and I thought the portion size was quite small
Ordered a burger special. They didn't have it and told me there was another one. It was one of the worst things I've ordered at a restaurant in a long time.
Food was excellent, service was wonderful nice area
We sat inside on the kitchen side for brunch. It was just a little loud - it was hard to have a conversation at our table of 6. Other than that - the food and service were excellent!
It was game day and it seemed like all the cooks quit. It took over 45 minutes to get our food. Worse service we've ever had there.
I'm never disappointed when I eat here. Everything is delicious.
Great good!!Great service !! Great beers! Definitely be back
One of our favorites in the city!
The service and food were great! Everyone was friendly and we received our food quickly.
I'm from out of town and have been to Taste of Belgium before and loved it. This experience was okay food was great. The service was fair. But when looking at OpenTable it was difficult to try to find a place to dine with Taste of Belgium. None of the stores had open availability. The cubs were in town playing the reds so we thought that it was going to be packed. Well it wasn't at all maybe 5 tables in the entire restaurant. So that was a little upsetting that we had to change our schedule around to fit Taste of Belgium into it.
Good food, steak was not as ordered. We had a large group and they missed one persons order although the did comp the burger.
Work brunch, it was wonderful, excellent food and great service!
Was a final dinner before my visiting parents left to head back home. Brought our 4 kids along. Our server was great. She handled a couple hiccups from the kitchen well and without our asking replaced a waffle that was plated too early and melted it's whipped cream (she did bring it out so my kids had something to start on while we waited). Restaurant was very chill on a Tuesday night which was nice for conversation. It's a bit louder on weekends for brunch or dinner.
Took my family of nine for mid-afternoon meal while visiting Cincinnati, after morning at the Cincinnati Zoo (three minutes away). Our waiter provided great information and recommendations regarding the menu. They are known for their chicken and waffles and did not disappoint. Somehow, the hot sauce and syrup work. The shrimp and grits waffle was tremendous as well. The waffles were so awesome we gave into the temptation to order a second round.
The service was excellent. The seasonal waffle was delicious and my wife's chicken and waffle was the best that she had had.
We love Taste of Belgium and visit each time we find ourselves in Cincinnati. It's consistently great food, with quality ingredients, with everyone who works here is super friendly!
Food was good but I think the proportions did not match the price.
Wonderful food and quick service ! My first experience with chicken and waffles....did not disappoint
Wonderful. We chose a Taste of Belgium to have brunch before seeing a Sunday matinee at the Aronoff center because they take reservations and their menu was intriguing. We had a very good time and the experience set the mood perfectly for our day ahead. The chicken and waffles was delicious, I highly recommend. The fruit parfait was fresh and appetizing as well. My hubby loved his brunch burger. Personally, my Bellini was great, lots of real peach flavor, without it being overwhelming. High praise for management, who were friendly and caring without being intrusive. The manager noticed my daughter was not enthralled with her choice (just personal taste, nothing wrong with it), offered her a replacement and when he could tell she was embarrassed, just brought her something different with no fuss. Perfectly handled. At the conclusion of our meal, after family had left to get the car, a waiter noticed my 81 year old mom struggling to get out of her chair and helped her up, offering to walk her out to the car. He was so kind, and it was much appreciated. It was my mom's first outing since suffering a bad fall two months earlier and being hospitalized, then in rehab, then moving unexpectedly to Columbus into Assisted Living. Everyone's attitudes and attentiveness really helped set the tone for a perfect outing for our family.I can't wait until ATOB opens a full service restaurant in Columbus.
Great food, friendly and attentive wait staff. Fun valentines date and we will return to dine again.
We went there for Valentine's Day dinner. It was such a nice night out with delicious food and drinks. We also had our one month old son with us and it was kid friendly as well. The service and ambiance were wonderful!
I love Taste of Belgium and had eaten at the OTR store the day before and have eaten at the Clifton store a couple of time before as well but it seemed like they were a bit off on Friday during lunch because all three meals were overcooked and the dessert crepes were under-cooked. This isn't their usual so I'll chalk it up to a bad day which seemed a little bit worse probably because we had such a great meal at the OTR store the day before. I'd recommend them just the same as they generally are very good!
Was bringing an out-of-town work guest for breakfast meeting. I've been to Taste of Belgiums many times and love it, but never in Clifton near where the rest of the day's meeting took place. We arrived to find that they had significant kitchen troubles and had no food. So we had to drive around Clifton looking for someplace else to go and wasted a lot of time. Love Taste of Belgium but so very disappointed. And they had my phone/email from my reservation that they could have contacted to give me a heads up instead of wasting my morning.
Very nice restaurant. Food was surprisingly great. Staff were alright back lacked a little knowledge. Also seemed to be intimidated by our group. Value was also great, waiter could use more training on what beers they did or did not carry.
The servers were amazing!! They treated us like VIP! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!!!
Interesting food with a different twist. Sort of a cold atmosphere and pretty noisy. Will go back to try some of the imported beers. In general pretty pricey for what you get.
A in crowd type of place.
Our waitress was outstanding and gave excellent suggestions. The food was tasty and well prepared. We both left full and happy
Everything was great! This is a must every brunch get together with friends.
My husbands mother was in town for a family event and I wanted to take her some place fun and different. The food was excellent but it was really the waitress that made it something special. She was awesome, fast and attentive. She even cut my grandsons crape for him so the rest of the family could start eating. Who gives service like that anymore? Great food, fun atmosphere, and fantastic service. We will be back.
We arrived a bit before our reservation but we're seated almost immediately. The interior of the restaurant was spacious, especially for Clifton, with just a "fun" atmosphere.
Our server was absolutely incredible. He offered menu recommendations, updates on the prep of our food, offered me a coffee to go. He checked frequently to be sure our meal was satisfactory and provide anything we needed.
The Wafagato was an incredible mix of waffle and gelato. Despite the scoop of gelato, the waffle stayed crispy. The Belgian chocolate and cream is as indulgent as it sounds, with a crispy waffle over a generous drizzle of chocolate and topped with whipped cream. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, same crispy waffle, but crispy, golden fried chicken. We also ordered a Brunch Burger, cooked to order and...no soggy waffle. The frites are crispy and served with a zesty dipping sauce.
We are already planning our next visit. We thought about trying another location, but our server, I'll simply call him "E", was so incredible, we'll go back to Clifton.
The food was absolutely delicious! I had the burger with egg, and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. We loved them both!
Food and drinks were great. Trivia was also fun
We came here for an early New Years Eve dinner. Food was great and definitely comparable to their other locations, but the service was not.
The hostess was on the ball and management seemed kind, but it took our server at least 10-15 to come greet us. Another employee actually came over and started to take our order and then our server showed up suddenly.
Because of the wait, we ordered food and drinks at the same time, and our food ended up coming before my cocktail. Our server did a reasonable job checking back on us but seemed really rushed. She gave us our check before we had finished our meals and didn't even ask if we wanted anything - I had to initiate that we wanted to order a crepe. Everything else from there continued to feel rushed, like she wanted to get out as quickly as possible. It was New Years, so I get it, but it wasn't even 7pm yet.
Probably just a fluke, but the level of service was not the same as what I've experienced consistently at Rookwood and OTR.
Staff was fantastic. Food was delish. TOB Latte is an experience every coffee lover should have.
Always fun times at Taste of Belgium -- our server was attentive and kind -- she had help from the bar-tender who was very helpful as well -- He made a great suggestion and helped the waitress out with serving drinks. I love the way that they handled the table as a team, and really seemed genuinely interested in the foods and selections that they had to offer.
Didn't feel rushed and really had an enjoyable time. Great beer and food -- especially the beer cheese.
Host could not pull up reservation for 8, thank goodness there were tables we could push together available!
Great experience! Interesting food combination and great drinks. We'll be back!
Great meal, service, and overall experience, which is consistent from our multiple meals at both the Clifton and original OTR locations.
