Nice meal for an in hotel restaurant. Most travelers venture out but food and atmosphere quiet because of that. Later in the evening it gets noisy because if the bar
Mheh. We had a two o'clock reservation. So we may have been between staff changes. They were nice when we saw them.
Secret gem. I'd return soon
Best service ! Really made us feel special.
The service is exemplary! They take such good care of us.
My wife and I wanted to try somewhere new so I picked this from the Open Table app based on the reviews. It is located off the main lobby of the Hilton with the hotel bar right outside the restaurant. We were there at 6:15PM on a Friday and were the only ones there - it might have been a little creepy except the lobby and bar provided some background noise, plus the lighting was cheerful enough. Our server was Carrie - very delightful an d friendly. I had the filet mignon which was good (not great), but the finger potatoes were quite tasty. My wife had their non-traditional chicken pot pie, which was the pot pie filling served over two round spongy bread cakes - she liked it. We had a strawberry tiramisu for dessert which was also pretty good. Overall, a good value for the money, not too pretentious, and we will go back sometime.
Very elegant and quiet. Unique food choices. Attentive waitress
The resturaunt was empty, but we didn't mind. The decor was really nice. Food menue looked good, I went with the chicken fried steak fillet, my wife went with the fancy pants burger. The burger was really good. Service was also great
Nice place for an outing with your significant other or a close friend. Great service, and friendly too. I would recommend this place to everyone. Food was superb!
Made a reservation for Valentine's day, but not sure why. The place was nearly empty. Staff was excellent and attentive. The food was good and slightly more upscale then I expected after seeing the place. The downside is its entrance which is adjacent to the hotel bar and lobby. All the noise just flows in. It's a good find but not for a romantic occasion.
Unfortunately, we did not go to the Bistro yet, but spent Easter Brunch at the Hilton. It was nicely decorated, there was a great variety of food, and champagne/mimosas for the adults! The brunch was reasonably priced and the food was good. I liked the omelet bar and the prime rib and ham were very moist and tender. Great variety of fresh fruits, and other breakfast and lunch items were available. The desserts were tasty too! We liked it so much we are going back for Mother's Day. Hope to try the Bistro for our anniversary. I didn't even know the Hilton was in that location until recently! (near Chandler mall)
I went to Taste on Valentine's Day 2013 with my fiancee. We were expecting a special occasion restaurant because of its listing on this site. The dress code was listed as smart casual, but the actual vibe of the place was like a Denny's. The steak I ordered was excellent, while the It is a diner attached to the Hilton in Chandler, visited by families. Our experience while not terrible, was not the evening out we hoped for.
Superior, friendly service. Even picked us up near our timeshare when the bus didn't show, and went the extra mile to use our OT certificate. A+
THEY DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO CHECK ME IN WITH OPEN TABLE, SO I'M SO HAPPY TO KNOW IT WAS ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING DAY.
Great food (a real chef runs the kitchen) and great service -- but the setting (at the end of the lobby with no partition between the loud lobby and bar) resembles the breakfast room as which is also serves rather than a fine dining venue. The furniture is lovely -- but something needs to be done about the setting to attract the clientele that would enjoy the excellent food and service.
I was the first to order the pork chop that was new on the menu. The chop was good but not exceptional. The house salad was however,
outstanding. I would return just for that salad.
I took my wife out for Valentines Day dinner at Taste and we enjoyed the food, service and atmospheric ambiance of the decor and lighting. As delicious as the food is, the portions could have been a bit more. When food is as great tasting and appealing to the eye as it is at this bistro you tend to want more. I will certainly spread the word around to my friends and colleages. We even reunited with old friends that evening. A former coworker of mine was seated at the table right next to us. Funny that we were seated next to each other and were both second guessing each other until I finally asked him if he was that person. We loved your food and service. See you again real soon.
