Originally visited this restaurant on a food tour! It was amazing! Great food and it was also happy hour! Great service.
Excellent food and ambiance.
Absolutely delicious brunch. Amazing salads AND tartines, try the elderflower lemonade and mushroom brie toast. Will definitely be going again!!
Too expensive and not worth the price.
Amazing food and service. The second time I have dined at the Noho location in the past month. Highly recommend.
Such great food and service, chocolate fondant was amazing. Very friendly service!
The food was delicious! I preferred the tartines over the main courses. The burrata tartine + Nutella tartine was amazing. The cauliflower gratin was very cheesy.
On the pricey side but really delicious. The salads were bowl-licking good! And that is saying something for a salad! We sat on the ground floor, rather than downstairs. It was cosy and romantic (despite my being there on a non-date). Definitely worth a visit and would go back.
Amazing food. Staff were so lovely. Highly recommend
Our service was great, portions were huge, excellent wine. Great experience.
Price fix on Valentine's Day and the options were eh. Was not impressed as I have been in the past at this restaurant.
Started experience at restaurant overhearing our waitress yelling at kitchen staff and although there was a limited special menu, the dishes took forever to reach out table. Waitress offered a complimentary glass of wine but not until we received our bill, and we were ready to leave at that point.
Casual and eclectic. Recommend a try. Not a place to go if you are looking to indulge in a few top shelf cocktails. They serve saki.
i love this place. It was my second time and I love even more than the first time. we share the cheese board, and I had the quinoa salad- it was delicious!! We are a big group non-english speaking and the waiter had an increible patience with us!Thank you! love it!
I made a reservation at Tartinery for 8:45PM on a Friday. I was disappointed when I arrived to learn that despite having reservations available on Open Table for the entire evening, the restaurant was completely full. My girlfriend and I had to wait 20 minutes to finally be seated at our table. If there was space at the bar for a drink, or if it had been earlier I probably would not have paid it much mind, but it was a late reservation and we were hoping to be seated quickly. The food at Tartinery was excellent. We had a tartine for an app, and the dinner mains for our meal. We were not disappointed. Unfortunately, there was only one waiter for the entire downstairs area. After being seated late, our entire meal took two hours. I would definitely go back to Tartinery, but most likely would make it a destination for a mid-week meal.
A chic French bistro in Lolita.
I always enjoy the cheese and charcuterie along with couple small dishes here.
Last night I came to have dinner with friends at their cozy dining room downstairs, small dinner menu and food was okay. I like my quinoa bowl tho. None of us order the French sandwich which I think we should had. Maybe next time.
A bit noisy but good food and great service.
Lovely spot! My friend from study abroad and I hadn't seen each other in four years and the staff was so patient with our long wait to order, as we had so much to catch up on. We both had the butternut squash soup then split two tartines. We were stuffed!!! The chicken salad tartine was yummy, but the burrata tartine was to die for.... holy cow! We had several glasses of the Malbec, patronage to Argentina, and love every minute. A very cool, trendy ambiance as well.
Good quality and excellent lunch menu
Service was good, waitress was friendly but it seemed like they were a little short staffed. Our water glasses were never replenished until asked. Food was good and delicious, I found the croque monsieur to be a bit more on the salty side. Otherwise, the smoke salmon tartine and burger were enjoyable. Prices were more towards the three $$ than the two $.
Well cooked, fresh food, good wine list and great friendly service. I definitely recommend this place.
A great spot for lunch or dinner! Friendly staff!
I’ve been here with large groups, small groups, visitors and natives. Never disappointed and always leaving satisfied. The downstairs atmosphere is the absolute best.
The smoked salmon was amazing, but the food besides that was only ok. The server was aggressive and not very attentive.
Fantastic food! A little pricey, but I would go back!
The dining room space downstairs is beautifully designed with a mixture of industrial and rustic elements. The food was delicious but felt that the portions were very small for the amount charged.
The waitress (D?) was horribly inattentive. She spent most of her time on her cellphone and rarely looked away from her phone to assess the customers. I booked through opentable (obviously) and specified that the reservation was for my boyfriend's birthday. When I arrived I informed her of my reservation, hoping she would check it and note the birthday celebration, and she responded "girl, you have a table don't worry about it." I then had to secretly inform her of his birthday, which she essentially disregarded. Our dessert arrived with a candle (thanks), but by that point we just wanted to leave. Also, out tartines were both burnt. I will never dine here again.
We have brunch on Sunday, the food was excellent and the service too.
love! amazing! even when we waited 30 minutes to be placed
This is my favorite restaurant since about 7 years ago.
If you love French food, and the French food experience you must come here!
It is extremely similar to how food is served in France, and it brings back great memories.
The wine list is extensive and many great wines to pick from, along side all the great cheeses.
The TARTAR and all of them are to die for. Love them! I come back here just for that reason.
The decor is modern and great, black is my thing. Love the downstairs seating, and always ask to be sat there as it is a little quieter than the bar.
You don't need to bring your own chalk! D
Great food and ambience... very fresh ingredients. I had the greek orzo pasta salad and it was awesome. Very cool spot.
The place was beautiful And the tartines we ordered were delicious, our servers were very helpful and polite! We aré planning to go back in a couple of days!!
Great experience! Food was tasty, service was excellent and price was reasonable.
The food and drink here were great, and made for a fantastic afternoon out! Thank you!
Food was fresh and of excellent quality. You feel like you are in a French resort.
We originally wanted to dine at lower floor however staff told us the lower lever opens at 7pm. So we ended up staying at the first floor. I felt a bit tight but good enough. Dishes were delicious But i felt it was little over priced compare to what you get. I am not sure if I would go back.
The avocado and asparagus tartine is wonderful! We also love the chocolate fondant and the smoothies.
We went there for the French restaurant week. The special lunch menu was 1 tartine and 1 glass of wine for 18 dollars.
We got the choice between 2 tartines.
At the end, we just received a "mini" tartine, not at all the original size that they serve for the standard menu.
It was good but the quantity served was enough for an appetizer only.
We should have order by the regular menu and we would have had much more for approximately the same amount.
Avoid this place if you are hungry.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the simple menu. I ordered the hanger steak and eggs. The steak was pretty bland and the egg was over cooked. I would need to try more items to give a better recommendation
Everything is perfection.
