Fine dining at a far-away place in the woods. Great service and dinners were top notch quality and presentation
Excellent food and a nice quiet setting with very good service!
We had chicken and ribeye Very tasty and well prepared. Very comfortable upscale environment A bit out-of-the-way but worth the trip
Excellent food in the heart of Amish country. A bit pricey but will definitely go back.
The evening meal first course was incredible. Less so for the third course. It was a great place to relax. The morning eggs benedict were beautiful and delicious.
Dinner and presentation was amazing. We visit often and have never been disappointed. A terrific meal and beautiful atmosphere.
Nice environment, but dated. Food is honestly not that good. We go here once a year and it is never that good to be honest. But we like the getaway experience. This last trip will be our last. Nothing horrible happened, just better value out there.
We enjoyed dinner at the Tarragon. It was quiet and comfortable. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. The lamb was incredibly tender and the mushroom soup was smooth and nicely spiced. Overall a very nice experience that we will remember.
The best steaks we've ever had! Period. My wife would never ever eat mussels and she tried my mussels puttanesca and ate most of mine... Fabulous!!!
We'd had lunch at Tarragon previously, and we made a special trip back for our first wedding anniversary. Our server, Heather, was knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond to make my husband happy with a handcrafted sangria. We both loved our meals and the atmosphere. All and all an outstanding experience.
Always a wonderful dining experience at Tarragon.
What an amazing dining experience! Totally surprised by the great food & service at this hidden gem near Millersburg. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Theresa was one of the most professional and friendly wait personnel I have ever met. We just came back from a 4 day trip to Alexandria and DC. We ate out most of the trip and Tarragon was better than most of those restaurants. We will definitely be going back, and will bring friends and family. Merry Christmas! 🎄
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Tarragon. It was the most delicious meal ever!
I consider myself a foodie. In Amish country the food is all pretty much the same but this little gem is staye of the art cuisine with creative dishes. Very bery good.b
Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and delicious food from beginning to end. Fantastic service.
Sydney, our server, was attentive to our needs. She knew the history of The Inn on Honey Run, and shared stories with us. The food was delicious, and there is an excellent menu. The cocktail list is imaginative and also quite tasty!
The chef at the Tarragon is amazing! The servers there are all extremely friendly and accommodating. We ate there twice for breakfast and twice for dinner and every time it was amazing. I wish I could have taken the chef home with us because his food is absolutely amazing! We loved it and plan to stay again in the future.
The Host was awesome but the waitress seemed to a bit overwhelmed. Over I would highly recommend for a romantic evening.
Wait staff is excellent!! Food delicious . Music too loud
The ambiance and food were very nice. The service was just ok.
The food was excellent! Nice atmosphere! It was the perfect place to celebrate our 45th anniversary!
My husband and I enjoy our dinner dates at this out of the way and quiet place. The food is worth the drive.
Should’ve eaten just 2 courses, but the food is so good, we each got 3 course meals plus had dessert. We love the miso mushroom soup. He enjoyed the lamb shank while I tried the duck—both really delicious. Shared the creme brûlée. And got cannolis to go for later.
Will be going there again and again.
It was our anniversary and birthday dinner for the girlfriend. Amazing time, amazing service, amazing food
In comparison to prior years, the lunch menu was creative and delicious. If only the coffee had more flavor!
Al in all a very enjoyable luncheon.
One of the top five meals I’ve ever had in my life. Amazing from start to finish! I highly recommend you check out this gem.
I don’t even know where to begin. My husband and I dined on a Saturday evening. It was a very long dinner as it took us two hours to eat because the space in between courses seemed long, but we didn’t mind. We tried all three courses and we both got something different each time so that we could share. The food was absolutely amazing. I’ve never had flavors like that before and I was not disappointed. We both got steaks and they were absolutely delicious and the best steaks we’ve ever had. We also chose to get up the next morning and have breakfast. It was also delicious. I like the fact that the menu is very simple and there’s not a lot to choose from because then you get quality in the choices that you make.We look forward to coming back again.
The food was good, however the servings were small.
Great food. Prices high but reasonable for the quality.
The service was excellent! Our only complaint is that the prices were higher than we felt were warranted. Food tasted fresh and delicious.
Our second trip to Honey Run, and every bit as wonderful a retreat as before. The food at Tarragon is first rate, and creatively prepared. Our only less than superlative comment would be with regard to the pricing - which seemed a little high even when compared to what we’re used to in Chicago.
We had a 715 reservation when we arrived, there were 2 other tables being served, within 30 minutes they were gone. We ordered only dinner, no 1st or 2nd course. To keep this short, we left the restaurant at after 9 pm, the wait for our dinners (pork chop and scallops), was painfully long. Waitress did not come by and ask if we wanted more wine or water. After about 45 minutes she did come by with a wheat thin size appetizer she said was from the chef. 10 minutes prior to our meal coming she did bring us some bread. No apology was ever offered for the extremely long wait.
Though the meal was good, I would not put in anywhere near the neighborhood of a $34 meal nor worth 2 hours of your time.
Great for a special occasion! The food was outstanding. Loved the setting in the woods and we took a walk on the trails after dinner. Our waitress was attentive and not invasive. The music was just right. More money than we would spend on a regular date night but met the "taking it up a level" for our anniversary. Wish we had booked a night at the inn, too! We are locals and we will be back. Thank you!
Overall experience was good. One major hiccup though, was the waitress that sat us did not even bring as much as a glass of water for 20 minutes. She got belligerent when we called her on it and we asked for someone else to serve us. New waitress, Heather, was amazing.
Very good place to take your spouse for a special occasion. Everything from start to finish was great.
We drive an hour one way to dine here. It’s worth it!
Chicken was mediocre. Its side was horrid. Fortunately we were there on $8 beer night. Go to Millersburg Brewing, their tacos are incredible.
Wonderful...as usual. I ordered the filet mignon and the others ordered duck breast.
returned to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary- spent our first night of marriage in the Honeycombs - had a great lunch at Tarragon - the service and ambience still top notch!
We were in town for the night and found this place on yelp. Pricey menu but well worth it. I had the filet and my wife had the duck. Both meals were prepared perfectly and our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. If we are in the area again we would def revisit.
We decided on a quick getaway to celebrate a belated anniversary. It was our first time at the Inn, and the first time at Tarragon. It was a nice surprise, the wine and food was delicious, the dining room itself nice and quiet. Everything, including service, spot on. We went there the next morning for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at the food, even “plain” foods were of the highest quality. Very nice, would recommend.
