We drive an hour one way to dine here. It’s worth it!
Chicken was mediocre. Its side was horrid. Fortunately we were there on $8 beer night. Go to Millersburg Brewing, their tacos are incredible.
Wonderful...as usual. I ordered the filet mignon and the others ordered duck breast.
returned to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary- spent our first night of marriage in the Honeycombs - had a great lunch at Tarragon - the service and ambience still top notch!
We were in town for the night and found this place on yelp. Pricey menu but well worth it. I had the filet and my wife had the duck. Both meals were prepared perfectly and our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. If we are in the area again we would def revisit.
We decided on a quick getaway to celebrate a belated anniversary. It was our first time at the Inn, and the first time at Tarragon. It was a nice surprise, the wine and food was delicious, the dining room itself nice and quiet. Everything, including service, spot on. We went there the next morning for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at the food, even “plain” foods were of the highest quality. Very nice, would recommend.
Fabulous Mussels Puntanesca! Almost an entre itself.
I have diner at Tarragon when staying at The Inn at Honey Run, and when staying elsewhere in the area for a getaway.
My girlfriend and I have never had a bad meal at Tarragon. The seasons change as do Tarragons dishes but you will not be disappointed.
Perhaps there are other restaurants of this level of cuisine in the pastoral area of Homes county but it is likely I will not find them as Tarragon is likely to bring me back if I’m in the area (that is, if it wasn’t the reason that made the trip happen in the first place)
Staff was very friendly. Had 7:30 reservation and was immediately seated. The problem we had was we sat there for a hour before we got bread or even our appetizer. The food was good but not worth the wait to us. Outside that our stay was nice. Our breakfast the next morning was AMAZING!
Overpriced for just "ok" food. All four of us thought our dinners were just ordinary, nothing special. My mom's filet was completely charred on the outside – so much that she had to cut it all off and just eat the inside. My husband's ribeye was the thinnest steak we had ever seen and it was overcooked. My halibut was the smallest portion in history and looked as though I had ordered an appetizer for dinner. The clam appetizer was very tasty – the broth was excellent. We won't be back.
Nice dinner, lamb was exceptional, steak was unimaginative and bland. Cooked well but little flavor.
Nice people lovely location quiet. The Inn is staffed with very professional employees. I recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a quiet romantic get-away. Restaurant is a bit pricey but the food was good.
Don't know were to start. What a wonderful experience Great Food Fantastic staff ,best food I have had in ---------don't know YEARS or ever . the Chief is fantastic .The place is quite and you can relax . We are going back in Feb. Cant wait . They also have dinner recipes on line trying one tonite .
Chef has great creativity. Flavor profiles well balanced. Some standout appetizers and soups. Notably the Kettle Corn Bisque and the Clams and Pork belly. And for breakfast....the waffles are to die for.
I made reservations for my wife and I as she was celebrating her retirement. The food was pricey but the quality was very good. She was thrilled with her surprise and the night out we had together. A very good time indeed.
Very nice atmosphere for my girlfriend and I to dine. Great service and the food was amazing!
great food and the server was extremely attentive. However it was our anniversary and I stated this in the Open Table reservation system when asked if it was a special occasion. . Nobody offered a congrats on our anniv but when the young couple behind us sat down the wait staff immediately asked if they were celebrating a special occasion. The appetizers, meal, etc was brought so quickly that my wife and I had no opportunity to relax and visit amongst the waitress continually stopping at our table. We shared one appetizer and each had lamb shanks. The sides that we ordered were wrong and had to be returned. I ate my meal while my wife sat and waited for hers to arrive. I was a bit shocked that one appetizer and 2 meals with drinks was $165 with tip. The food was incredible but not very relaxing visit.
Great food and presentation. Halibut and pork chop entrees were wonderful, but the Kettle corn and crab chowder was one of the best soups I’ve ever
had. Salads are shareable. Can get very pricey with a cocktail and a glass of wine. Only one server on the night we ate there, but she was very attentive.
Love the gift shop, service was great but food was too pricey for what we got. Bloody Mary was VERY hot!!
The food is amazing. The menu has great offerings but the stacked French toast was so delicious it would be hard to order anything else.
We have eaten here many times, each time was great! Service is outstanding. Everything was presented beautifully. I was surprised a dinner salad did not come with a $40 entree. Dessert was amazing. We will be back!
We enjoyed both of our meals and our waitress. It was a wonderful experience!
Food and atmosphere was amazing
This must be a lovely place to visit any season of the year. My group of four enjoyed it on a sunny August day. We intend to return every season. The tables in the expansive dining room each provide relaxing views of the trees and gardens outside. The meals are delicious and the friendly staff complete the outstanding experience of a visit to THE INN AT HONEYRUN.
Our waitress was Liz and she was friendly, and did an excellent job.
Excellent food. My husband and I both commented it could be the best steak we have had.
The Tarragon is the place for the ultimate romantic dinner. We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary. My husband was pleased with the atmosphere as well as the food. The lamb was to die for. We enjoyed every minute of it.
Enjoyed it very much. Great time. Would recommend it to friends
Great food and atmosphere. Service was excellent.
The service and the ambiance were very good. The food was good but the portion sizes were small for the amount of money paid for each entree.
It was a great surprise to find a restaurant of this character in the middle of nowhere that provided the variety of foods within a limited menu. The dishes we selected were ample, well timed, delicious and expertly prepared.
Food and service were outstanding, would highly recommend to anyone in the area thinking about going.
Only complaint we have is good could have been warmer. But so delicious!!
It was a holiday, and seemed a bit understaffed, but we had breakfast and dinner there again the next day and everything was fantastic.
For the price the food was fair- actually over priced however there are not a lot of options in that area on a Sunday
Great food and service.
Very good gourmet food. Nice presentation. As a hungry man going in, I was well satisfied with quality and quantity of portions. Very nice tropical setting, good service. Enjoyed watching the deer graze just outside of the windows. Not cheap but felt I got my money's worth.
Requested table by window when reserving - did not get one. Waited a very long time for each course. Food was very good but not worth over $100. Too expensive.
Lauren was a wonderful server.
We were there for brunch, the menu was small but nice. I like eating plant based, whole food, so was thrilled to find the seven grain salad with arugula. Uhm, 2 sprigs of arugula??😲 Oh, well!
Had a nice brunch with an old friend to celebrate her birthday.
