We made reservations for 6:30 but waited 20 minutes. The young woman who works the front desk is not a good hostess. She was unfriendly and didn't keep us updated. When asked, she would answer with a short answer. In my opinion, the first person you interact with is very important... thumbs down for this one. She doesn't seem to like her job.
When we finally sat down, there was water on the seat of our booth so the person I was with had wet pants. Our waitress was new but she was great. The food was pretty good too.
Food was excellent! Beer selection was amazing
Excellent food & service. Portion size was large. Wait staff is super friendly. Our waiter Sam was patient and anxious to please.
Service was a bit slow this time. It’s usually very good
Fun place, good food, 10min wait despite reservation, attentive service, somewhat loud.
So glad I used this app to make reservations. We only waited 8 minutes while others who walked in were begging told 40 minutes. Wil be using this again! Food was delicious. Service was with a smile! One of my favorite restaurants!
Getting together with two friends and our first time at Taphouse 15. Surprisingly, we had to ask for the beer menu when our waiter came over to take our drink order. Lots of bottled beer on the menu and a varied selection of draft beers - most of which we had never heard of. After telling our waiter the types of beers we liked, he recommended a German which we all ordered and all thought was just okay but that could be us.
Arugula salad with chicken added - enjoyed
Plain Jane Burger - cooked as ordered but could not recommend
Short Rib Grilled Cheese on pretzel roll ($1.00 extra) - wanted to like a lot but didn't. The short rib was tender but lacking in flavor. Came with a small cup of tomato fondue that seemed really unnecessary since the sandwich was loaded with gravy. Dipped a fry into it but the ketchup was better.
Not enough to make us come back to try again.
Food never disappoints. Only exception is when you find a gem, like any good establishment, the menu will change seasonally so it may be a while if ever you can get that favorite again.
First time here from out of town. The food was delicious, I had the short ribs which were cooked perfectly and my husband had a burger which he said was very good as well. Our waiter was great, very friendly and attentive. The bar area is hopping if that's your thing.
We love this place particularly at lunch. It can be a little noisy on the weekends, but we always request a table in the dining room and not in the bar. Their calamari is incredible. Made with lime dressing. I had the meatball pizza which is always too much for one meal. We will be back. Our friends enjoyed it also. They both had steak and fries. My husband had the fish tacos and they were delicious.
Valentine’s Day dinner. Unfortunately my wife’s meal didn’t live up to expectations. Over cooked, rubbery lobster tails that withstood the sawing of a butter knife really well. My scallops were very good though.
This restaurant is next level when it comes to the beer list. Like one of the best I have ever seen for specula locals (and I plan beer fests for tens of thousands every year), but you pay for it. Flights are great but overpriced by $1/sample IMO.
Food is extremely good - you can see there is a great chef here. Some suggestions would be less on the sauces (the cod is amazing but it’s slathered in this butter sauce making it not as good as the fish really is) and the dressings for salads.
We come here all the time when visiting our parents. Love this place!!!
Great food, great atmosphere, super busy so make a reservation!
Like everyone else seating needs to be more organized. You need to turn people away at the door if you can't guarantee a table realistically within 45 minutes. Make sure reservations are handled first and when the next reservation comes makes sure the table is ready. Timing is everything and Taphouse needs to figure out how to accommodate everyone.
The menu and the beer list are always updated to keep things new and fresh. The staff is always friendly and top notch. The pizza from the wood fired oven is the best in the area. Taphouse 15 is always the first suggestion on Where do you want to eat tonight?
Only issue was we had a 730 reservation we showed up on time but still had to wait 30 min. Doesn’t make sense to take reservations if you won’t honor the time . Food was great service was great
Food is always excellent! Have been here many times never had a bad meal. Craft beer selection is great! Our waiter could have been more attentive
First of all let me start by saying when you walk into the restaurant it’s like the Arctic Circle. Freezing beyond! The food arrived at least 45 minutes after we ordered it and it was stone cold just like the establishment! I will never I repeat never eat at this restaurant again.
Fish tacos not very good. Steak and fries very good.
So happy to see many vegan options! Great food, great service.
Food and drinks are great
Ive been there a few times now and really like the food and ambiance.
Outstanding menu for both beer and food. Generous portions served by an attentive, knowledgeable server named George.
Definitely worth the money.
Abomination beer on tap was amazing
As always, the food is impeccable. The menu changes seasonally, with the exception of some staples that always remain. I find it difficult to choose a starter and main course at times as there are so many delicious choices! The drinks are always made well and the service is way above par. If you are looking for a restaurant that offers many craft beers, extensive wine and drink menu, and an awesome and innovative dining menu than Taphouse if for you. Absolutely love it here!
Food was great and served was excellent the restaurant was conveniently located and the food was prepared quickly
We had a great time as always. The staff is excellent and we never feel rushed (or forgotten). Love Taphouse 15.
A great business lunch with a quiet table set aside for us in advance. Will definitely be back. Wood fired pizzas were great and they have an extensive beer menu.
We had a party of four there for a Sunday lunch. The menu was very limited. I had a small bowl of tortilla chips, covered with cold cheese and unappetizing mix of meat and scrambled eggs for $14. Disappointing
Had a good time with some friends, good drinks, nice atmosphere
Great experience. Very busy. Get seats at the bar and skip the wait
Ordered my meat medium rare and it came close to raw. Another person in my party ordered theirs medium and it was rare. Food has always been good here maybe an “off” night
The atmosphere in this restaurant was weird. It was so loud and the food took a long time to get to the table. Apart from listening to the conversations of everyone around us, we had to struggle to hear each other. The burger I had was dry and not good. The chicken had by another member of my party was mostly fried batter and had to be significantly scraped to get any of the chicken. I won't be returning to this loud restaurant.
Came for 4:30 reservation, seated by bar and could not hear across table. Asked for and was moved to other side of restaurant, much better. Calamari came quickly and was great, had to ask a couple of times for bread. When it arrived it was also very good. Dinner was much slower, good value and tasty. Drinks well priced and good.
Got burgers and fries and beers. Delicious and no complaints. Ryan was a nice server.
Honestly, we would have been better off at an Applebees for this type of casual fare. The service was very nice, but the food was not great, I think even Applebees would have been better. The drinks were OK, but warm.
French toast was like warm and dry. Had to ask for butter and syrup. Ambiance not cozy and loud music playing would have been nice to have holiday music playing
Trivia is always great!
The food was really good. The calamari appetizer was delicious and large enough to share with the table.
The waitress was really nice. All good. I just wish it was a little closer to my house because I would go more often.
It’s a bit pricey with drinks for our area, but the food is good. Our waitress was great! But the hostess kept coming over and opening the window shades even though we asked her to keep it closed. She said it “they always do it”. We were the only customers there. Hmmm
