good experience and good food
Never been to such a poor quality restaurant. The paella tasted gross. I can’t believe this is the most famous dish in this place.
Lugar agradable especialmente el Mánager Raúl, no dejen de ir está en una ubicación céntrica de Lincoln road
It was fine, nothing to write home about, another South Beach overpriced place with not a lot of options.
Loved the key lime cake dessert and outdoor seating.
We find this restaurant from Chinese social media. Everything looks good, the food was good but I prefer go back to eat at Chicago City last year. After we finished our meal, I am asking for the bill. The waitress give me a folder which the waitress normally did. I find the bill tote shows $120. 96 something, no more than $121, can I give the money for total $135. And the waitress ask me “ do you need change?” And then i check the receipt again. The lady add 18% on top of the bill. Next time for sure to check the receipt before I pay the bill. And I am thinking the waitress think our Asians, so they add the service charge on it. I don’t fell comfortable. And when we go another to continue shopping, we found other restaurant’s meal’s price was cheaper than this restaurant. And the boss push the next restaurant’s customers to eat at his restaurant. Anyway, I won’t eat this restaurant again! If you want to add lobster, half LB small lobster you have to pay$30 plus tax and 18% service charge. We are coming from Toronto, Okay?
Tapas were terrific and the paella is spot on authentic . Service was great . Host knew it was a date and gave us a complimentary dessert which was such a nice surprise :) totally recommend going there .
Great food with great company in the heart of Lincoln Rd.
Valentine’s Day. Sangria was not good and flatbread was bread only.
Went to watch Super Bowl there. They advertised about it too. No sound on tv. Only music playing. Game channel didn’t start until halfway thru 1st quarter. Very disappointing. Food was just ok.
Great location but the food is not what you go for.
Paella was the best part of our meal. Appetizers could be better.
Was a bit pricey for the meal. Don’t forget that the tip/service charge (18%) is usually included in your bill.
We've been here twice before and remains consistent in food quality and attentive service. Savory paellas with the Jamon Jabugo de Bellota with Manchego cheese is our favorite with a pitcher of Sangria, ole!
Nice Miami Beach restaurant on popular Lincoln Road. Great service and smiling face of our waitress, Laura Morales, made the whole difference. Thank you Laura :)
Everything was great, except for some street performers break dancing with loud music. This drowned out the flamenco show.
Paella was really delicious and authentic Spanish cuisine all around
Will be there again
We enjoyed the meal
The food here was very good. The service was okay...we had to ask multiple times for water refills. Since we weren't a table of drinkers we felt that the service was a bit lacking.
Quality of dishes was very good. We were offered a complimentary starter and also received free dessert after ordering our mains. Service was very good with staff being friendly but not overbearing. A very nice meal and experience overall. Highly recommended.
Really great paella and sangria. Super delicious tapas and dessert.
The manager and all the staff are very kind and professional.
The atmosphere outside is cozy and lovely.
We've appreciated everything.
My friends and I had an amazing time there. The manager and the waitress who took care of us were very friendly and very nice!! It was my third time there and for sure I’ll be back soon.
Excelente ambiente em domingo con show en vivo
Host was very accommodating! Good paella!
Wonderful- beyond amazing!
We were hesitant to visit Tapelia because of some reviews we read on Open Table. The reviews are not fair at all. The food extremely good (I lived in Spain so I know) and the service and ambiance is excellent. The prices are fair since the quantity of the food is very good. We were ready to give them an Excellent 5 star rating...but the beers were $9 each! Wow. That really hit us. 4 beers for $40 is too much. I hope they fix this, because Tapelia is really good!
This place is a tourist trap. The Paella is about as authentic as a Lean Cuisine. Because it takes 30 mins for them to cook it, they aggressively push the tapas menu while you wait. To top it all off, adding 'chorizo' results in a 10 dollar upcharge and slices of SlimJim. The wait staff was rude & to add insult to injury there's a mandatory 18% service charge on your bill. After that, they'll still give you another receipt to add more gratuity, likely to scam the euro tourists out of a little more money.
They seemed thrown when we arrived for our reservation and had apparently not kept us a table outside. They were saved by a couple leaving 5 minutes later. Food was nice. Our server was great. However, They added an 18% service fee to the bill and then gave me a credit card slip prompting me to tip up to 20% more on top. I suspect this trick catches out some foreign visitors. Food was fine for a tourist trap but it comes with service downsides.
Everything was great and I really enjoyed it. We enjoyed the food and the Lincoln Road atmosphere. It is situated in a great location. The service was good as well. Definitely recommend it.
They were incapable of delivering the first course of cold soup and tapas in 45 minutes. Then asked if they could serve the second course (salads) first which they did.
I ordered a Russian salad but couldn't tell if this dry and limp salad had potato or tuna on it.
After almost 90 mins the first course had not arrived so we paid out check and left.
Among the generally poor restaurants on Lincoln Road, this is the worst. Stay away!
As a Spaniard living in the US I feel embarrassed by this "Spanish" restaurant. Very poor ambassador of the cuisine and culture of my country. Worst Spanish Restaurant in Miami.
Cheap wine. Great meat platter. Huge platters. Service so so. Kitchen sent out wrong order though it server ordered it wrong. Server never came back to check. Finally sent it back. Urgh. It's a slow night. Let's try and get it right. :(
This restaurant is great for pre-New World Symphony concert dining. It is conveniently located only a short block away from the New World Center. The food was good and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the staff was very amenable to our timetable of having dinner and making it to the concert on time. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu but we both enjoyed our choices of assorted tapas and garlic pork loin and grilled veggies flatbread.
