Tapas On Main
Great Downtown Bethlehem restaurant! Decor and ambiance is very nice and comfortable. Food is delicious and there is plenty to choose from on the menu. We enjoyed the Strawberry Basil sangria and a few different tapas. For dessert, the flan is delicious. Service was terrific! Great waiter!! And everything is very reasonably priced. Very enjoyable dining experience.
It was amazing, and the food and the dessert was delicious! Can’t wait to go again!!
This was our first visit and we absolutely Loved everything about this place. The food was divine, the cocktails were amazing. I wish that would have more dessert selection lile tarta de queso or crema catalana. The dessert was the only thing that we didnt love.
Very enjoyable experience, food was so delicious and the black cherry sangria is a must! This is was 1st tapas adventure and I would definitely recommend it to newbies!
Great food and service! Was able to try new items from the happy hour appetizers.
This is one of the harder places to get into as a last minute, but we were able to go with our younger children after a performance at Foy Concert Hall for a delicious meal. We love the fact that we can order from the Crepery menu as well as the Tapas menu. The lamb chops are delicious...and don't get me started with their fries with garlic aoli! That could be a meal in itself. My brother thought the burger needed a little more flavor, but tasted the italian crepe and thought it was very tasty. The paella was good, but wished the scallops and shrimp were regular-size and not microscopic. There was live entertainment (a trumpet player) who was wonderful and the outdoor dining area was filled.
Unfortunately before dinner was served I started to feel very sick (not food-related) and needed to leave. Our waiter was SO accommodating and made sure the food was packed up so we could leave quickly and take it to go. I wish I remember his name but he's training to be an ER doc- hopefully that's enough info to pass the kudos along! Thank you!!
Delicious! Friendly waitress.
Excellent menu choices. Everything we has was delicious.
My Birthday 🎉
Another great meal, we are slowly working our way through the menu for our much anticipated trip to Barcelone
Tables for 2 are very close together. The couple next to us were having a great conversation. But the problem was, I couldn't hear my wife over their conversation. Everything that had chicken in it was dry including the soup. My skirt steak was good and they did sub sauces for me. Waiter was great, no complaints there.
The food was bland..Looked pretty, but while it looked like it would have robust flavor, it didn't. This was appetizers and entrees. The customer service was great. Our server was friendly and the manager listened to us respectfully.
Food was great but the service was a little slow. Will be going back soon.
Quiet evening in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu choices and food were great although the restaurant was very warm and humid in the back side where there is a lack of ceiling fans. Overall this is a very decent Tapas restaurant.
The food was good, but it is very dark in the restaurant. Also, the waitresses were a little annoying constantly trying to clear plates; there was plenty of open seating so not sure why they were trying to rush us out. Not a great place to go if you want to relax and enjoy your company.
We heard such wonderful things about this place—and came away very seriously disappointed. The server was slow, inattentive, and seemed to be angry that she had to serve us. The food was mediocre at best and overpriced and overrated. We would not recommend Tapas on Main in any way.
The one paella was a little burnt but they took care of it right away and were very nice to take it off the bill. I appreciated the understanding and the kindness from the staff and restaurant as a whole. Love this place regardless and will always recommend and come back!
Took my parents for a belated Mothers Day Dinner. My parents loved the restaurant and the food. They live in Palmer and didn't know about the restaurant. Def a place we will revisit.
We were seated at the back lounge next to bar due to party size which was okay but the lights are not enough. Food is flavorful though. Couldn't find fault with taste of everything we ordered. We ordered 2 types of paella, a salmon dish, and various small plates. They run out of calamari and pork belly; weren't able to order the former and had one order only of the latter. Will recommend.
We always have good food, good sangria and a good time here.
I had to be an arugula salad and it was delicious… Their sangria is out of this world. It was quite loud in the bar section because they had live music...Definitely not good if you’re on a first date and want to talk to your partner. The seating in the other section is quite crowded and I felt like I was bumping elbows with strangers. But don’t let that stop you from going it Definitely has its pluses
Tapas never disappoints! We have yet to have any drink or food choice we don’t like. Love to people watch from our small, intimate table.
Our server, Magda, was phenomenal. She assisted with food selection and was extremely personable and outgoing and made our evening fun!
Tapas on Main is a lovely place and as the name implies the small plates are wonderful. Had 3 of them, with the 1st being the bacon wrapped figs with blue cheese and almonds. Which were an incredibly balanced and savory sweet niblet of food. Then we enjoyed the blue crab croquettes in a stone ground mustard sauce that were excellent rich fried crab balls essentially. How can that be bad? (Assuming you're not allergic). Then lastly we shared the pork & chorizo meatballs in a sweet glaze, which were also extremely delicious little morsels. We capped off the main course with 2 different paella, that were both extremely flavorful and served pipping hot in their own paella pans. My only knock would be that they missed the mark on the base price layer of the dish, that should be crispy and almost alittle burnt to the pan itself. The rice was 100% loose and very flavorful from the rich seafood and chicken stocks used, accented by the lovely essence of saffron, but they missed on the signature bottom rice layer crunch. We split a pitcher of blood orange sangria that was too die for. I could have drank that stuff all day long, or until I passed out from it.
Our server was EXCELLENT . We told him it was our first time there. Everything we ate was great, except for the Apple empanadas, which was Apple with cheese. We hated them and took them home and put in the garbage. The steak and eggs was Soooooooooo good. I will buy that again.
Worth a visit...will return to Tapas. It would be great if there were more seating outside (understandably there is the limit).
Went for a girl's day out! We had a blast! Anisha was our server, and she is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and friendly! We ordered 5 or 6 small plates and everything was delicious!
Had a very fun positive experience. Sangria was good. Seafood was excellent. Need tenderloin was just ok
Great ambiance! Server was awesome, put put up with all of our silly requests. Kitchen didn’t communicate to staff that they were out of a dish until food was served 👎🏻. Drinks weren’t consistent—one jalapeño drink was spicy(yay) and two not.
Arrived at 7pm only to be informed by hostess that our 7pm RESERVED table was not available. We accepted a table in the bar area which was small and the atmosphere was loud. Waiter was personable and attentive. Papas a La Francesa consisted of scantly drizzled cheese fries with no distinct truffle flavor. Paella Palomino was soggy saffron rice with scant portions of mussels, clams, chorizo, scallops, and shrimp. Costilias de Cordero was very good. Medium prepared juicy baby lamb chops full of fig balsamic flavor. The classic red and blood orange sangrias were diluted and lacked distinct flavors. Overall our experience was disappointing and we will not be returning.
The food was outstanding. Everything was delicious. However, the value is less than other local restaurants. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll go there again, but next time I’ll be prepared to spend more money.
It is a place we enjoy to go regularly. Like the food, sangria, and ambiance. During our last visit, cheese plate was not so great. (It was a regular bread. It was stale not even warmed up. Presentation was not great, either.) Hope it is a one-time incident, not a sign of quality getting lower.
Price was a little high. Food was good. Lights were a little too low, a bit dark. Sangrias were amazing!!
Our reservation was a Wednesday evening. The food was very good. Service fair... we waited quite awhile for food, especially coffee and desserts. I would not return.
Very nice Easter meal with the family. The lamb chops were the winner of the day!
We went for an early supper, then we went back later in the evening for dessert!
Always my favorite place for some delicious food!
Enjoyed a number of tapas - lamb meatballs, garlic shrimp, empanadas, cocas and meat and cheeses - all excellent!
Since this has opened, this has been our go to place for casual dinner and lunch. Ask to see the French Crepe menu from next door. Authentic Spanish tapas and amazing sangria!
