Food was good! A little loud inside while we were eating
Angel was a great server.
The host was gracious. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was excellent and the drinks super delicious! Wonderful experience!
Great food and experience, a friend visiting from out of town enjoyed the food and service. Grateful Tapas on main is such a great place to bring friends and family.
Tapas has REALLY stepped up their game since we were last there about a year ago.
To start, we were seated immediately even though we arrived ten minutes early. The host was pleasant and did not seem flustered despite how packed they were.
Our server was over shortly after, but did not check in too frequently or make us feel pressured to order too fast. Water was refreshed throughout the evening without any prompting whatsoever which was an impressive thought that isn’t always met while dining out.
The food came out in a comfortable period of time and EVERYTHING was HOT and fresh. Nothing was lukewarm!! The star of the show for sure was their delicious, plump mussels in a light tomato and wine broth with chorizo and topped with fries. Just wow. Another popular hit was their blue crab croquettes…
We will be back soon, and I’m actually going again less than a week later!!! Thank you for an enjoyable evening out!
Scallops were excellent. Only ordered Tapas. Empanadas we’re on the overcooked side. Everything else was delicious.
Food and Sangria were the best they have been. The cinnamon sangria in particular was fantastic. Same with the crab croquettes - best ever. Greg is so awesome at what he does. We had a wonderful time.
We always enjoy Tapas. The service is always great and food amazing will continue to go.
The waitress was Awesome, The food was Awesome, Overall experience was Awesome, Priced well, we will be back.
Great food, awesome window seat, wicked music
Reasonable prices. Order the pitcher of sangria
Couldn’t ask for a better experience
Wasn’t very crowded and the service was lacking. Took a very long time to order drinks and get them. Food was tasty but some dishes were overdone.
I wish I could recall our waitress’s name. She was excellent. She gave great recommendations and was most attentive to our needs.
We have been there a few times and food used to be good but this time the FOOD was VERY BAD. Everything tasted awful. Did the chef change recently? The paella was the worst. The rice was not cooked in the Paella pan like you are supposed to, but instead boiled somewhere else and then just put in to the pan at the last minute. The calamari was not freshly prepared but fried from frozen pre prepared. The watermelon salad was just cut watermelon from Weis and balsamic vinegarette drizzled on it. The service was friendly and nice. It was just a chef problem but we’re sorry we went.
Food is excellent! They ran out of a number of ingredients and were unable to prepare certain items. But they were accommodating. Outdoor dining was good and comfortable. Would definitely go back!
Service wasn’t very good. Never received one of my small plates.
Fantastic service, food and drinks were amazing!
Loved the food and our server was gracious and humorous. The atmosphere was great.
Our repeat visit to this restaurant was enjoyable and the food and ambiance are great. However, they seem to be struggling with a shortage of staff, as are many.
We waited nearly 15 minutes after our reservation time until someone brought water, then another 10 minutes until the server took a drink order, then another 10 minutes for the drinks. The food order was taken 10 minutes later. Food wasn't received until more than an hour after our reservation and the entire experience lasted over two hours for a dinner that should have been much shorter. While we weren't pressed for time, it was painfully slow and our guests still had a two hour drive to get home after dinner.
Service was awful. Minimal patrons so no excuses. Waited over 20 minutes for 2 simple drinks. I had to go to bar and ask what was going on. Had to ask silverware, had Tapas so need clean plates which I had to get from back servers. Food however, was EXCELLENT!
This was our first visit to Tapas on Main. We loved everything! The steak flatbread, the truffle fries, and the seafood paella- delicious!!! ❤️
Always a great place to dine! The sangria flights are delicious and we tried the calamari which was a dynamite appetizer
They are trying really hard to keep up, even being short staffed. Some of our favorite items had been removed from the menu, but we understand why. Only one server on duty for indoor and outdoor tables and he was running ragged. Three Gypsies sangria flight wasn’t the flavors we ordered but we didn’t say anything because they were so busy, and it was yummy anyway! This is a favorite location for us and we’ll certainly return.
Great paella. Better than we got in Spain, at least for me. Not so spicy. However we didn't have seafood in it so maybe can't compare. Sangria was tasty! Good place to eat!
The restaurant was very busy and the hostess was obviously stressed. We were not greeted in a friendly welcoming way. This employee should not be the first face your customers see upon coming to your establishment. She was curt and unapologetic. She seated us without asking our preference of indoor vs outdoor seating. We were seated near an air conditioner that blew cold air right on us. When asked if we could move to outdoor seating, the hostess told us there was a 40 minute wait for outdoors. I mentioned a table for two that was vacant and just needed to be cleared that we would be happy to wait for. Again she said there were people waiting for that table. We felt defeated and stayed at our original table. The table for two outside remained vacant throughout our whole meal and still was vacant when we departed.
Our server didn’t come to us for 20 minutes at which point she greeted us and took our entire order. After another forty minute wait, we received three of our four tapas. Ten minutes later we received our sangria flight, which was not sangria but fruity/ tropical drinks. They were very sweet and contained no fruit at all. Also, the sangria was served in a rocks glass rather than a traditional wine glass. Very confusing. Another 10 minutes until we received our final plate of tapas.
We loved the crab croquettes and salmon tartar, however the steak flatbread and manchego salad left something to be desired.
Overall, I would not return to this restaurant and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Even if the food surpassed all expectations, the lackluster and unfriendly service really left us feeling unwelcome.
We went to McCarthy’s afterwards for drinks, coffee and dessert and we very pleased with their service. All the servers and staff were warm and welcoming. Next time we would go there for dinner instead.
Very disappointed in food this time. Ate last week and had an awesome experience. Looked forward to bacon wrapped dates all week. They came out burnt and tasted burnt as well.
Food was great and service was outstanding! This has been my second time dining at Tapas on Main!
Drove almost an hour for Tapas, and they did not disappoint! Loved their watermelon mule from the bar. We had meatballs, croquettes, empanadas and scallops AND THEN their dulce de leches crepe. Heaven!!
Great food, atmosphere, and friendly-excellent service. What else is there!
Short staffed like every other restaurant but food and value was good
Stopped in to Tapas on Main for tapas and drinks on a Sunday afternoon. Service was a bit slow. Drinks were very good, but the food was disappointing. Calamari was very tough. Tuna was just ok--not very flavorful. Don't think we would go back.
Amazing, as always. I always recommend Tapas to anyone looking for a new place to dine. I brought 3 friends in for dinner who had never been and we had the best time
Excellent food! Service was good even though it was very busy. Very loud from constant cars going by with noisy exhausts.
Everyone had a really great time at tapas and my party was impressed with our server Emily. Juan Carlos is always a gem to speak to. My friends loved the different meatballs! The salad and crepe was wonderful
three shared plates. all very good. we will be back.
I understand places are short staffed…but the place wasn’t busy and the people that were there before us, either didn’t get what they ordered or never got their drinks! We sat for 20mins before someone brought us water! That was actually for the table next to us! Very disappointed!
Food was fantastic as always. Service was Extremely slow. As all restaurants right now they are claiming they are short servers 🙄🙄
Service was awesome and food was amazing as always
Great food and service every time! Sangria is outstanding! Always an enjoyable experience!
