Tapas On Main
Took 20 min for the server to show up, > 40 min to get drinks and food. My favorite meatballs were dried up to the pint of being hard to put a fork through - they should not have served it at all. They said that they weren’t prepared for the good weather crowd... poor management.
We always have great service and amazing food. Love the tapas and very clean restaurant
The food was good but the service was terrible. Had to get up and go to the bar to get our own refills of water. Waitress was barely checking in etc. Waited way too long to even give our order
Great food but the worst service I’ve had in years. Won’t be back.
My wife and I had a fantastic date night at Tapas. They provided the first rate service and excellent food as always!
Calamari was overcooked but server happily had another order of calamari remade. Veggie flatbread was overpowering with garlic (and we love garlic) and way too cheesy, especially for a tapas order. Service was friendly and ambiance was lively. Would come back here for drinks but would skip the food or maybe just stick to a meat and cheese plate.
A pre Spain planning luncheon with my Sister and her husband and my husband and I. Service was A+++, Food as amazing as always. We had a nice quiet table and were able to sit and discuss vacation plans and get a taste of the food and wine we will experience while in Spain. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food.
I love going to this place; however the last two times I have been at this place both appetizers came out with hair on it . This is disappointing and makes me question if hair nets are worn in the kitchen ?
There were 4 adults and a toddler in our group. Four of us received our food and we’re almost done, before my husband’s dinner came out. This was not acceptable.
Excellent food with really great service. A fun place to bring your college-aged students.
Excellent food, sangria's are great! The place is very romantic
We love Tapas on Main- great food-fun atmosphere, but dark! Food is delish! Service is great..
There during winter restaurant week...had a fabulous salmon crepe and crab bisque soup...definitely going back!
Went for a lunch during restaurant week. Great menu, food & service! The red quinoa winter salad was incredible!
The server was very nasty. We left without ordering anything
I've been there plenty of times; with nothing bad to say. Everything is always very good, the servers are always really great- all of that. I usually don't order dessert and this last time I did. The flan. For the price you pay, it's a very small piece. It was extremely tasty though. Also, when one makes a reservation, they most likely will not want to sit in the high top chairs, next to the bar that sometimes gets very crowded and loud. But it ended up being fine, just trying to help ya out for next time! :)
We always have a good time, service and meal at Tapas.
Food was delicious but the portions did not equal the price I paid -$17.99 for 3 scallops on mashed potatoes.
My husband and I went out for a early New yesrs eve dinner. The catalonian seafood chowder was amazing was nice and hot. We also had the beef tips, the pork belly and salmon tartar. For dessert we had chirps and bread pudding everything was perfect.
New Years’ Eve dinner. Took a while to get our drinks from the bar, but it was busy. Waitress was good. Food was delicious!!! We will be back!
We’ve dined here multiple times. From just my wife and I to with our children and grandchild. Never a bad meal or service.
Took 23 minutes to get the initial drink. The waitress had to even come back to the table to ask what was ordered initially.
When the food was brought out (by another employee) the waitress never checked back until nearly finished to ask how things were.
The food was delicious and ambiance was amazing. We will definitely make another trip.
Atmosphere was just right, along with nice bar that fit the area. Waitress was excellent. We had 3 shared dishes, all being fish, and every one was cooked just right and was very tasty.
It was my birthday, so the Mgr offered a drink on the house. I was planning on using a $25 gift card that I earned from Opentable points. Even though the manager said they don’t accept that gift card, they honored it and gave me $25 credit.
My husband and I loved the cheese plate.
Will definitely go back👍🏼
Vert accomdating. Service wonderful. Food very unique abd delicious
Fantastic place. Food and environment is great. Love this place
I was a bit late to my reservation because of parking, and they kept my reservation regardless. We were greeted nicely and the service was quick and wonderful. The food, as usual, was delicious.
Food was ok, but service was in the slow side and they were out of
Nice find on a cold night Christmas week. Cocktail specials were very tasty. We ordered three shared plates. Veggie flatbread was delicious. Shrimp in a veggie broth was good. Apple empanadas were delicious, like a dessert.
First time here. Food was good but not outstanding. My husband and I had a starter and 3 shared plates. It was more than enough. I would try it again to see if food was consistent. Our waitress was helpful and attentive
Food was fabulous as always! Service very slow and disinterested. Had to ask for everything.
Food was ok, timing of food was terrible, long waits between with the waitress asking us what we were still missing.
Stopped in for brunch. Lovely! Cocktail was not as described. But all in all great experience
Great sangria! Definitely make a reservation ahead of time!
Overall an excellent experience. If the service hadn’t been so slow, I would have given it a 5-star rating.
Enjoyed both restaurants! Pumpkin soup from Tapas and crepes from Cachette❤️
Having been at Tapas On Main several times, we were very excited to be back. Unfortunately, the whole experience was off. We waited 25 minutes for our server to get our drink order, (restaurant was not busy.) We attempted to order and right off the bat, they were out of 4 popular menu items. Server "disappeared" several times. Bartenders broke 2 glasses, and were carrying on about it with a few patrons at the bar that were highly intoxicated. Very loud, highly unprofessional. Food was off, especially the calamari, very fishy. Server never asked if everything was ok. Not sure we'll be back any time soon. Very unfortunate.
We love Spain and the tapas experience. It was a very busy Sunday night in the Christmas City of Bethlehem in December. Although that is a potential reason for being out of several choice wines and menu items it really isn't a reason at all when its one of the known busiest times of the year. I would suggest to the manager to maybe serve water and bread and olives as soon as people sit down to help with keeping folks happy, especially on a busy night (just like how its done at any tapa joint in Spain). Just a suggestion.
Booked through Open Table for a Sunday evening at 5:30pm, shouldn't be too much of a problem or too busy is what we figured. Family of 4, needing one high chair. Noted reservation accordingly. Arrived and were seated. We reminded the hostess of the need for a high chair. Stood by at the table for 10 minutes before finding a busser to ask for a high chair. He returned a few minutes later. Did not see a server until 5:55, at which time we received water but she was not our server. The kids started getting restless, our server appeared and took the drink order, still no food of any kind was able to be ordered. Drinks and the server appeared at 6:09pm, we were ready to walk out. Mentioned to the server that we'd been sitting for over 40 minutes and needed to get something on order and if the kitchen was backed up we'd have to leave. She said she would push things and bring food as it was ready. We ordered appetizers and dinner. Apps came, the apple manchego empanadas were very tasty but presentation was nil. just cut empanadas on a plate. No sauce of any kind. Garlic shrimp was in a soup crock, 6 medium shrimped drowning in a broth. It was well balanced and tasty but too much broth. Paella del Tierra and Vegetable Paella were the dinner entrees, both were acceptable but not fantastic. The most disappointing was we were half finished with the entrees before the kids shells with butter and cheese showed up. Try explaining that to a 4 year old. Couldn't wait to leave, the service completely ruined the experience.
