Tapagria Spanish Tapas Restaurant
Catch a glimpse of the Spanish culture when dining at Tapagria by enjoying traditional paella, savoring a variety of delectable tapas and conversing over craft sangrias. Seafood is a fundamental ingredient in Spanish cuisine, and Tapagria offers many dishes made with only the freshest fish, octopus, lobster and shrimp. Our extensive wine list features several Spanish labels thoughtfully selected to pair with every item on the menu.
Had a great time. Our server was very helpful in explaining all the food and made sure everything was okay. I believe the manager also came by often to checked if everything was okay.
Very poor service. Sat down for 20 mins with no server coming to our table acknowledging us. Had to ask for our server. Waited for more than 30 mins for our appetizer. Food was ok but probably would not go back.
Super Friendly Staff. Great atmosphere. Good food. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience.
My husband and I went out for date night. Here is what we ordered:
Pitcher of strawberry rose sangria...Excellent and refreshing
Jamon & Manchego ... Will order again
Figs & Queso... My husband had this and enjoyed it.
Chorizo & Roasted Peppers... Very good spices
Marinated Octopus.... I didn't enjoy this
Cod stuffed peppers... Wasn't a huge fan of this but the cod was fresh
White Anchovies Bocarones.. My husband enjoyed this
Marinated Olives... Yummy!
Beef Empanadas... My husband liked them... I had half of one
Jamon Wrapped Dates... My favorite Spanish tapas. These were delicious
Roasted Bone marrow... My husband has this and he said is was good.
Calamari Frito... We both enjoyed this dish
Spanish toast... This dessert was sooooo good!!
Port... Great with the dessert
We were too full to try anything else. We'll definitely be back!
The service was abominable. Ordered 5 tapas dishes took 30 minutes to bring a cold meat platter and a further 45 min to get 4 more and they forgot one completely. People who ordered paella got their food faster than we did. The open kitchen feature had you looking at the chef preparing your food who was wearing a dirty tshirt with an open chef jacket and no hat or kerchief. Surprised we didn't get hair in our food. Disgusting.
Waitstaff didn't come over to check on us - too embarrassed at how long simple tapas plates were taking to prepare - only could say that the kitchen was slammed - the restaurant was half empty
Never ever go back!!!!
I was introduced to this wonderful restaurant by a physician friend. Since then, I have taken other friends there 3 times in the last 4 weeks. What a hidden gem!
The food is EXCELLENT! The various daily soups were gobbled up! The various paellas and Tapas for lunch and dinner were all excellent food quality, portion quality/quantity, freshness, which very much impressed my guests.
Service is outstanding, very attentive and keeps an eye on when dishes need to be removed. Washrooms are uber clean. Kitchen is open and uber clean.
Please note: If you request tea after a meal, they hot water warm the cup before serving and they put the tea bag in the pot to allow it to steep. Amazing to receive English tea in a Spanish restaurant!
My friends and I will definitely go back, again and again.
What a great place for great food and great wine. Make sure you get a nice bottle of +6 year old tempranillo wine!!! Cheers
Could have more variety
Very good and authentic Spanish tapas. The paella are soooo good. Service is extremely nice! The mariscos paella was my favourite. Would recommend to anyone.
Great place for spanish tapas food. Service and good is great. Dont expect a lot of variety for tapas style
Overall, good night out
Sangria- very good
Tapas- very good
Service- AMAZING. Very polite outstanding staff.
Paella- not the best
Would come back for the tapas and drinks, do not recommend the paella
If you're really into the real Spanish tapas experience then I don't think this is it. We (the two of us) ordered 3 or 4 tapas thinking this was just the beginning... and they were all big, more like American-size tapas. Ok, fine, I guess a lot of people would argue it's better to have more than not enough, but as far as I'm concerned I didn't like that. I wanted to get a chance to sample a bit of everything (with Spanish-size tapas). Besides, the tapas we ordered were veggie-based. So basically, we stuffed our face on veggies (patatas, cauliflower, etc) and lots of cheese/cream on top of them. At that price point, I expected better.
Friendly staffs and environment. Goods was good but the paellas was a little bit pricey.
Unlimited oysters, iberico ham, and churros were the best part of this meal. The Sous Chef was especially helpful, really eliminating the need for the hostess, server (who only serves water) and the manager.
Food selection could be more diverse, presentation was terrible and it was hard to navigate the food as it was spread throughout the restaurant on top of the bar with small signs. The beef carving station was almost missed had it not been for a random bowl of fresh horseradish since it was below the shelf of the bar. It was also oddly strange that you had to get your own coffee and juice which in my eyes was a great opportunity for spills on the floor that could easily cause an accident or spilled hot coffee on oneself. All in all, a great concept that could use a few tweaks that could make the experiment incredible.
My friends and I enjoyed the atmosphere at the restaurant a lot. Everybody was on point from the hostess, to the waitress (Kristy and Chloe) and to the chef. Will definitely come back!
Bacon wrapped dates were awesome, calamari was good, crispy pork belly was so-so.
Service and atmosphere was good.
Price was higher than expected for tapas, but portion size was larger than expected as well.
Great food and great Spanish atmosphere.
This is my 2nd visit within 3 weeks. First time was introduced by a friend. Did not disappoint me...
Food is great, atmosphere is great and the service was great. Definitely worth going here for great Spanish dishes
Sunday brunch was disappointing. Selection was not great for the price paid. Scrambled eggs was awfuly dry.
Excellent unique birthday celebration! Food delicious service great! Fun time!
Good place for group gathering. Good food and good atmosphere. Servers are very friendly.
Bland and uninspired flavours with limited options
Love the food and restaurant. Very nice decor and the food was so good. We'll definitely come back.
Very Nice wait staff. Very charming decor. Tapas were very filling and delicious. Definitely a must try.
Everything was okay but the menu does not have as much a variety as we thought
This restaurants food was not as good as my family and I were expecting. I came here a few years ago and the menu was completely different, the menu is worse now. The flavour of all the tapas we ordered had the same flavour and the same sauce came with all of them. I wish they added more diverse flavours to their food. The food we got left my family with a stomach ache and our money had been wasted. Do not recommended at all.
What a fantastic place. The food is always consistent in quality. Yesterday I invited a friend and we ordered several dishes and a pitcher of White sangria, so good. I really recommend it.
Simply terrible. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was poor, we ordered the Seafood Paella and some appetizers. The paella was done with soya sauce !!!! Yes... soya sauce. This place is going down soon. Don’t waste a good night.
The dinner was amazing with lots of food and paella’s!
I have to say no because it is expensive. The food is good but the brunch is extremely pricey. I don't see how this will attract more customers. Seniors get a discount and only need to pay $35 plus tax and gratuity. That is a more reasonable price.
I had made a very immediate decision to make a reservation here 45 minutes before arriving, and I was not disappointed! Luckily my partner and I dined at a not-so-busy time. The host (and manager also if I am correct) greeted us warmly and so politely. He brought us to a table originally, and immediately offered to place us in a booth as someone had cancelled their reservation. We ordered the Patatas Bravas, the Mushroom Croquettas and the Paella de Tapagria. Everything was delicious! Would have appreciated more attention to our table, but I understand it got busy. All in all, great experience!
Everything was very good, except the lobster was not fresh.
Tapagria is one of my favourite restaurants We ordered the set menu for 4 and the quality and quantity of food was exceptional! The extra dishes, crispy pork and lamb chop were marvellous too!
Excellent food and attentive service. Enjoyed chicken lollipops, mushroom croquettes and beef empanadas. Paella is enough to bring home leftovers. Delicious sangria. Great meal!
This would be my fourth time here. So far excellent food consistency. I really enjoy eating here because they make you feel at home. Lunch many could be updated.
Great selection of Tapas and paellas..great ambiance and interior of the restaurant is good..great service as well.
We were a party of 5 and tried out their Sunday brunch. Since the reservation is at their opening hours, there was not much of other guests around. To us, it was quiet so the ambiance rating may not be accurate. We like the fact the all the food are prepare in small portions so it’s not entirely buffet style in the sense that people will be digging through a load of food. All the food looks freshly prepared. Food was also tasty. This was the first time for everyone and it was great to be able to sample what this restaurant offers in small portions via buffet. Pricing for buffet might seems high for others, but we found it just right based on what was offered.
Food was ok. Wait staff was too rushed and made us feel uncomfortable. There are better places to spend that kind of money.
