Loved it , I will definitely come back
After waiting 10 minutes for a server to come take our order, all was fine.
Great food and service. In a Beautiful old hotel.
Very good food, good service, pleasant server in an historic, outdoor, urban setting.
We were celebrating our Anniversary. I love Hotel Bethlehem.
The food and service were amazing
We dined outdoors for lunch and the hotel provided heaters which kept us warm. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and attentive. One of our favorite places to stay and dine.
Service was fabulous. Food was delicious and ambience was superb. When we arrived they did not have our reservation at all In their system. I showed them my confirmation email from the night before. Luckily they had an open table. If not, it would not have been good.
The sausage at breakfast had a hard skin to it. The coffee was way too strong. However, the atmosphere and location was excellent, as was the service.
When visiting my son, who attends a local college, we always love visiting the historic hotel Bethlehem. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food arrived slowly, but we were patient not knowing how the hotel was impacted by the current economic status with the COVID pandemic.
Initially at check in we were told they offered a complimentary breakfast and the lady at the desk even told us to make reservations to ensure we got a table, which we did. Then come to find out when we were ordering breakfast that they don't offer complimentary breakfast even though your paying $200+/night for your room. Then from the start we didn't have what we needed. Server didn't bring out the basics for breakfast, had to get up and ask for things 3 different times because no one was paying attention to the tables; didn't bring water, didn't have sugar for coffee, didn't bring jelly for toast. They got my omelet wrong also. I understand not keeping condiments and things on the table but at least bring them with the food when it arrives. I was never even offered a refill for my coffee! There were so many people around doing things but none were actually checking on tables. I'm not the pushy kind, but I had to get up to ask for things.
Hotel Bethlehem's Tap Room is a great place for dinner. The menu is limited, but the food was delicious. The walls are covered with pictures of famous people, and the history of the taproom is evident everywhere you look. The staff was very helpful, not in-your-face. It was an expensive meal for me and my two older children, but I suppose that is to be expected when you dine in a hotel restaurant. I would like to see a tap list with more local beers.
Safety measures in place for COVID food was excellent service was great and overall experience was awesome
Overall, a good experience. Keep in mind that some traffic noise can be very loud when sitting outside. Not the Tap Room’s fault. They can’t control traffic noise.
Nice experience on a good day to be able to dine outside!
nice area, great food, good time great service
We come back again and again and are always pleased!!
Nice spot for a leisurely meal located in the heart of a quaint area
Our waitress was lovely, helpful and gracious about making up separate checks for us. We had an outdoor table with a great view of downtown. You feel like you're right in the middle of the weekend bustle, but nothing overbearing or excessively loud. Our drinks came right away. My friends had mixed drinks and I had a nice, dry red wine. Lunch was excellent. I had the BBQ chicken that came with homemade coleslaw, potato salad and a fresh ear of corn. My friends got soup, a lobster roll and lamb chops and we all cleaned our plates. We were too full for dessert, unfortunately but truly enjoyed our meals.
I love tap room and can’t wait for them to be open for breakfast again. We had a delicious lunch and our waitress was very attentive. Their food is a little overpriced but really delicious. We will be back again.
Filet mignon gone before 5pm. Food overcooke
The food was delicious. The pandemic situation affected the ambiance, but the atmosphere was still nice.
First they said they don’t have a table, then I got on open table and found out they do have reservations so I reserved a table for 2 and sat down in 3 minutes! The food was ok nothing special
The service and atmosphere was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Club soda is not tonic water. Not enough waiters for the inside dining area. Appetizers were good. Overdid it with the Covid distancing inside. Better service was visible outside with more waiters.
Beautiful historic hotel, great service!!
We were so happy to be able to dine in the beautiful tap room after so many months. There were very few tables and the service was excellent. Our food was very good and drinks, except for one exception, a gin-and-tonic that was not up to their standard. OK, because everyone is working to return to their established standards. Overall, an enjoyable lunch. This I a favorite place that we will always return to.
We love listening to Seth while outdoor dining on a Friday. Great wind down.
Service was excellent! The server was very polite and made the experience that much better. The food was a 10/10, best burger I’ve had in a very long time.
Love their outdoor dining and lobster roll! We took our 2 year old puppy to lunch and she sat at the table with us.
We had a wonderful lunch outside this time. The Lobster Roll is fantastic!!
Waitress was "fake" nice ... the food was sub-par for the money - the hotel itself is great
Beautiful hotel, our first time dining indoors since March and we felt very comfortable. Thanks, Bob!
Had a very nice experience dining outside on a beautiful night. Our server Robyn was very good as was the food. The ambiance was probably the best part. Would definitely return.
The food was excellent as were the cocktails. The Moravian Manhattan is very highly recommended!
This restaurant has added a mandatory 20% gratuity for the wait staff. Up from 18% just from June. There is absolutely no incentive for the servers to do their job. We have eaten there for years and never in all those years has service been so horrible as it is now. We’ve had 4 different servers in the past 4 months and service is just bad. They don’t refill waters, coffee or ask if we’d like another cocktail. We have eaten breakfast lunch and dinner. And there is no difference. We are thoroughly shocked at the management here. They are allowing the experiences of customers to fall drastically.
In town for wedding and decided to eat at the Tap Room to stay close to room bc if time constraints. Outstanding food, service was good. I did however feel like I was eating in the lobby of the hotel since I was 20 feet from the door. Would be a better ambience if there was a wall between lobby and the restaurant. Overall I would recommend for lunch.
Hotel Bethlehem is a classic with unmatched ambiance.
We experienced an intimate yet socially distanced time at the Tap Room bar. Great food, service and libations.
