Tap & Barrel • Olympic Village
We offer indoor and outdoor seating with breathtaking views of False Creek, Science World, BC Place and Rogers Arena.
Came in for brunch but sadly missed cutoff. Opted to stay and have appies and beers. Sat at a high top table near the bar. Was pretty decent, will be back!
Thanks for the service and food. Superb is what I can put it.
Great service! Happy hour menu is fantastic. Me & my friends enjoyed our afternoon there.
Nice job at a tough time for the restaurant business. I will be back.
Our server Alex was awesome. Helpful and kind. Last time I visited this location we had a terrible experience. Happy that we came back and gave this location another shot.
It’s COVID... so you need to manage expectations... I thought everyone did a good job, food was good, selection of beer and wine was good.. they even moved us outdoors so we could feel more comfortable!
My dinner was disappointing. The poke bowl lacked flavour. My partners fish and chips batter was over cooked. I am not sure if our servers swapped but they never asked how our food was and then brought our bill forgetting that we had ordered dessert. The dessert wasn’t great either. We went to the tap and barrel two weeks ago in North van and it was amazing. I won’t be coming back to this location.
Had the creole sirloin
Asked for medium rare. Got rare instead
Ate on the outside patio and everything was comfortable. Enjoyed our brunch
It was an excellent experience. Felt extremely safe, it was warm on the patio with the heaters and the food was fast and delicious.
Staff was great, very attentive and great at making recommendations for wine and food.
Staff was friendly and efficient and I had the ribs and they were excellent!
Server was great, music was a bit too loud.. thought it had to be quiet due to the restrictions from the PHO..
The servers were fun and helpful. Noise level was OK, but slightly quieter would have been better for conversation. Very good menu choices. Would recommend.
Excellent food/service & we were in a back corner, which doesn't sound GR8 lol, but if you're into safety protocols in Covid as we are, we preferred being away from everyone, plexiglass partitions & tables spaced out!
We come often for Nice Guys Trivia on Tuesdays. Food is a little pricey but is good, beautiful views and great selection of local beers.
Food was really salty. Other than that the place was great. Our server was awesome.
Excellent except for noise. Music loud for conversation and noisy tBle mr t yonis.
When I reserved a spot in line they called me almost immediately to ask if we wanted indoor, outdoor, upstairs. They were extremely accommodating and the service was exceptional!
Always have a great time at tap and barrell. Great food and service.
Food was ok. I had eggs Benedict and the eggs were soft when I wanted them medium. There was no ham with my husbands toast. I was really sick when we got home. I am putting it down to the eggs.
The food was excellent. No complaints.
It was a great time, that’s all I really need to say.
Great food & service with an amazing view!!
Provided dog friendly table just ask! Great staff great happy hour great patio
The appetizers were great! I would go back for appies and a drink.
We were there for trivia. Fast service. Good spacing with regards to physical distancing.
We had a great experience - we sat on the 1st floor patio which had an amazing view.
The drinks were OK, although my 'moscow mule" cocktail was light on ginger, and heavy on the juice. also my fish and chips were pretty poor - the fish batter was more like a corn dog and was soggy and cold. We enjoyed salsa & guach' nacho dip starter, and the others enjoyed the vegan burger and curry - although we smiled at the 'store-bought' quality naan bread that was described on the menu as 'rustic' :)
Restaurant was closed.
Even though we had a reservation for a table inside, I had to wait 20 min and be seated outside. The waitress forgot our order and we had to wait extra for our food. The food tastes whatever. The views are nice other then that would not go again.
Hostess went above and beyond to arrange the seating for our group and was so pleasant. Overall taking service to the next level. Would definitely recommend
I reserved a table for us and we got a bit early, the waitress was nice enough to let us sit, the beer on tap was delicious food was not bad maybe portions a bit smaller than other places I was before. The service was really good. if you have the option to get there without a car, do it, parking is a bit tight.
The servers went all the way to make the visit superb.
Beautiful day, friendly and attentive wait staff, great hamburger.
Was a little chaotic getting in (people hanging around), but host sorted out my reservation quickly, and was promptly seated
Love the view from their patio!
Our server was very nice, gave us sample of beer too help our choices.
Service, food and experience was great. Appreciated the staff and restaurant being COVID conscious.
Great vibe. Great afternoon and I will be back. Thanks for the great service
Was a perfect Happy Hour!
Great food and price and generous portions.
The location hard to beat.
Nice table spacing. We were outside. Clean. Waitress wore a mask. Very patient with us.
