We went for lunch and were very happy with the wings and the fish and chips. Clean, lots of 'separation', and cheerful staff.

We were at Tap & Barrel Convention Centre recently during our attendance to a business event. To our surprise, the food was great, service attentive, it wasn't too noisy, we had a great, enjoyable time combining business with pleasure. Thank you Amituofo! 😊🌺🙏

I always enjoy visiting the Tap & Barrel. This location is special and will be even more so in the summer with the exterior patio space in use!

The food was really great but the service was terrible. The waiter had no personality and acted like he didnt want to be there. Didnt pay attention to us and we had to ask other members of the staff to be able to get our bill to be able to leave.

I have been here before for drinks in the evening and my experience was much better. We had brunch and the food was less than mediocre. I had the eggs benny with pulled bacon and my partner had chicken and waffles. We split the meals and neither of us found the food any good. We definitely wouldn’t go for brunch again. The service was also poor and slow. Had to ask for numerous things and stop other servers for service. Overall it wasn’t a good experience. The most positive aspect was the ambiance. That was good.

We always come here for family birthdays. Everyone at the table felt the food portions were smaller than usual.

Good Happy Hour, really like their wings! Staff were really nice and allowed us to still order even though we arrived 5 minutes before the happy hour menu cutoff. Would definitely go back :)

Food was awesome. Some of the best burgers we’ve had. The service was good but we had to wait a little long to order.

It’s disappointing to be so close to the water but not be able to see it. You are overlooking the Jack Poole plaza instead. The pub itself is fine. Just “fine”.

We had limited time prior to Canucks game and server was excellent in accommodating this...she was friendly as well. Atmosphere was great - beautiful setting on the water, and restaurant is nicely laid out. I have to believe the outdoor tables are spectacular when the weather is nice. I had blackened chicken on a bun which was great, and a green salad which was tasty as well but too small for my liking. Good selection of beers. Happy to recommend Tap & Barrel for anyone looking for a great casual dining experience.

Food is consistent, this location gets busy so a reservation is a good idea.

I must say that service is really important to me, and our server was excellent. She checked back to see if all was okay, and if we needed anything else, etc. I was really impressed. You will forgot what you ate, but you never forget if you got good service. A+

We met on a rainy Sunday for brunch. We had a super friendly and lovely server named Monet. I remember her name as it was so pretty.
She was very busy as the place filled up with big groups. She was attentive when needed. Thanked us for being patient...we were there to chill and have a yummy brunch . I reccomend the avocado toast. Brunch and conversation which were both wonderful.

The pretzals were soft and warm, the quac and salsa fresh. Delicious!!!
Such a variety of drinks, including 2 ciders. The BC was very nice.

Oen drink came in a glass with a significant chip on the rim of the glass. We had to call the waiter over - response - was "oh let me get you another one". No apology.

The reservation was easy to make and the food and service were good. I just found the restaurant a little too loud and it was difficult to hear my table mates. Over all a fun and delicious experience.

Really liked that every beer and cider choice was on tap. Didn't make the connection to this restaurant's name, but it's all good.

Met up with an ex colleague for lunch. We both had Tuna, Tuna Burger and I had the Spicy Tuna - both were very good. Excellent service also.

We ate there as a Dine Out Vancouver experience.
The food was your typical pub food. However, the location (by Convention Centre) made it really exciting.
We stayed with Dine Out menu and burgers as the main course. The food was good and so was the desert.
We felt it was a very good value.

Booked for Dine Out but they did not give us a right menu. Ended up ordering from regular menu instead of trying out dine out.

This time we tried Tempura Cauliflower for Appe, but didn't expect the portion is so small only 6 small pieces and caused $9, and I ordered Fish Taco, but from each taco, I can only find 2 little pieces of fish, very disappointing, not worth the money at all. I have had some other good dishes before, maybe I just ordered wrong items this time.

Staff were friendly and informative. Food was above average for bar food. Definitely recommend the PB&J Burger. Value is decent; typical bar food price.
