My date and I left after waiting for 41 minutes and were not served after being seated. I would understand if it were packed but that was not the case.
Very nice restaurant that has a very sensuous atmosphere that kindles the senses in more than just your culinary requirement. Great setting for a close and special dinner.
Don't be surprised to find out its really a nightclub.
Go after 12am.
It's not that I would not recommend it... I think it's just not ready to be a dinner spot.. A late night dinner spot with party to follow yes .... But not for the 8.30pm dinner crowd... The 10.30 dinner crown will be happy here.
Food was good and service was charming and friendly. Do not fault it for anything just feel it lacks a bit if warmth at dinner time.... Decor is absolutely fabulous though... Maybe the lighting? Hope they are successful.
I came here last year and everything was perfect, so expetations were high this time. But it was nothing special. I asked for a Chianti and it took 15 minutes for the waitress to tell me they didn't have it. And she didn't offer an option. The meat was great, but for $109 (just the entrée), you can't expect less then perfection. The restaurant is famous for its Monday's after-dinner party, but this time it was half empty. Overall, just average.
I recommend the Love Apple (tomato, goat cheese), King Salmon, and Grilled eggplant side. Each dish had the right amount of spices and umami. The meal was one of the best I've had in Miami. The restaurant is great for a romantic meal: dimly lit, quiet and excellent service. Dinner music was a bit odd... Indian/emo. The restaurant turns into a dance club at night after 11pm... but the place doesn't fill out until 12am so waiting after dinner was awkward. They play a mix of hip-hop/dance and hispanic/salsa music which was weird to switch between since a lot of people stopped dancing when it switched. It's a few blocks away from the main streets and the sidewalks nearby have a homeless stench. Also the exterior looks old and poorly painted.
Service was Impeccable!! Nice private exotic environment! Staff made sure we were well taken care of! Food was delicious, nice try.
One of my favorite Miami places!!
We were only people in the place creepy
