Great place for nice casual dinning. Unfortunately, we were there the evening of the fire. Hope they come back!
Had a great dinner experience for my birthday with my entire family. Services was impeccable, very thankful
We went for brunch before a Sunday matinee at Playhouse in the park. The food was outstanding as it usually is at Tano. We are so happy that we were there for brunch last Sunday since the horrible fire now has Tano out of commission.
We hope that Tano will be able to reopen soon,it is a gem for dining locally.
Meeting old friends for Saturday dinner. Need a place with great food and friendly service. But want to be able to chat and catch up with friends without being interrupted. Tano met all this and more. We've loved Tano for years and can't wait to see how they rebound and come back better and stronger!
Food was very good! Service was slow. Drink refills were slow.
Great mussels and martini. Enjoyed this place vey much.
I have never had worse service in my life at a restaurant and it was Mother's Day !
Having a bartender who does not stay at the bar and is a server means we couldn't even get a drink while we waited 15 minutes for our table for which we had a reservation for. The table party next to us sat down 15 minutes before us and got their drinks first! Was really bad. A shame with good food but not worth it
Excellent, as always. Crowded, as always, especially on Mother's Day.
We had reservations but wasn't seated until 45 minutes later than our reservation. They were very busy. It seemed like we weren't the only one that had reservations and had to wait. But once we sat down it took awhile for our waitress, the hostess got our drinks. The manager comp our first round of drinks that was nice.
The food was worth the wait. I had shrimp and grits which was flavorful and filling. My mom had the Brussels spout omelette which was wonderful.
Tano always does it right. I've been here for lunches and several dinners, but this was the first time for Brunch. Excellent menu and the service, as always top notch.
First timer, great service and food. Shrimp appetizer a bit pricey but good overall value. Very enjoyable atmosphere.
Normally the food is wonderful but we had to send both of our meals back as the pork chops were too tough to cut. The server was outstanding and did everything she could to take care of us. Chalk it up to an off night.
Great intimate spot with delicious food and professional wait staff. Nestled in down town Loveland it is a fun place to eat and then walk around and shop in the local establishments. Highly recommend the steak offerings and stuffed salmon. the potato croquet that comes with the filet mignon was ridiculously tasty. One negative, the tables are a bit close together because it is a small location. I was with my wife and a little to close to a table of 4. If you are a party of two request a table by the windows and you will have more separation. Other than that this place is awesome!
The usual, expected, continuing great place for fine food, with interesting variations. We always enjoy.
Lovely little restaurant in downtown Loveland, with some outdoor seating. Was super busy for a Sunday night, due to the Cincinnati Restaurant Week. Despite the acoustic panels on the ceiling, it was quite loud when we arrived, but we were seated by the window, which was thankfully quieter. Our waitress was super busy and it took a while for drinks/bread, but she was quick to deliver water and our 3 course meals. She was friendly and efficient. Our meal was good to very good, but not exceptional, however, it would not deter us from giving it another try (on a less busy night). We could tell that the chef had inspiration, while also trying to cater for a milder palate. All in all, a nice evening was had by my husband and I.
Went during restaurant week for the three courses. Awesome pork dishes with sides!!
We are coming again on Friday with a group of friends . I have not shared my experience with them hoping it was just a off night for you. I have had great experiences with Tano in the past. I hope Friday will restore that experience.
This is a really cute little place in downtown Loveland. The service was good, but the food was just ok. My boyfriend ‘s pork chop was a bit dry.
The prices were a little high for the quality.
Would still probably return to try something else bc the atmosphere here is very nice.
The food was outstanding! We went for restaurant week, so we got to sample a lot with two three course meals. I can't wait to go back and try their regular meals.
Overall our meal was good. The service was OK at the beginning no one came to our table for about 10 minutes. Then when she did come but wasn't super attentive. There was a male server and he did come over and help us a lot, he was the reason that saved the meal as far as the whole experience is concerned. We would probably go back and try the brunch maybe sometime.
Restaurant week offering...3 courses-my hubby & I's choices ran the full range. He did snout n, salad & porkopolis (which grunts surmised as "pig heaven".. He loved flavors). I did shrimp, quinoa salad & stuffed salmon... While nicely balance & nice serving size, my salmon was over cooked😩. We hit right @ rush hour, & must have been on & off happy hour- drinks were high$ (special offset??)
Tano is adorable, located in the heart of Loveland. The restaurant is divided into two halves, to the left is the restaurant which feels more upscale, and to your right is the bar and some high top bar seating. The wine list was great, and our food was very good - I'd recommend the salads which were all well-balanced, the brussels sprouts with pork belly, and the boar pasta.
Tano's is a favorite. Downtown Loveland is lucky to have them. The Food, Service and Location could not be any better. Always super food. We were there for Easter Brunch and the Menu was perfect for the occasion.
As always, we really enjoy Tano's. Staff is wonderful, food delicious and a great authentic restaurant. Our favorite place in Loveland. Never a disappointment.
We had made reservations for Easter Brunch and found the entryway to the host desk incredibly congested and the host seemed very overwhelmed. When we were finally seated, it took our waitress quite awhile to check on us and in fact waited on an adjacent table (who arrived after us) before attending to us. Otherwise the food and drinks were awesome and once our waitress did tune into us she was super friendly and accommodating.
We've eaten here many times and it's always good but this was our first time for brunch. What a gem! The menu is great and the food was really the best we've ever had at Tano. Can't wait to go back!
I love the ambience and the service at this restaurant but the menu is really lacking for us. Please change the menu to have more inviting entrees, salads and small bites. Also beer selection could be improved. I do love this place.
Food was wonderful - we had the BBQ sandwich and fish tacos. Only complaint would be the motorcycle noise (we ate on the patio). Not the restaurant's fault of course, and we could always sit inside. But we love eating on the patio, and anyway Loveland should consider policing the noise; the noise level was just ridiculous.
Our server was great. Unfortunately they were running low on a few items. The server said they had a busy weekend so they didn't have certain items available or they only had one of said items. We weren't impressed with the food at the price listed. If we had a reason to go back it would only be because our waitress was excellent and very accommodating. She made our dining experience relaxing. Thank you(we can't remember her name).
Great location, full and very competent bar and food is always very good and consistent. Tano is a small restaurant so you really should have a reservation. Saturday they were either unexpectedly busy due to the nice weather or they need new wait staff. Our waiter was VERY pleasant and tried so very hard, but was just plain incompetent. I feel badly as she tried but was just overwhelmed. No plates to share appetizers, bread came late and didn't recommend the mussels as "they come inside of shells and people don't like that" Seriously we thought we were being filmed for a prank...
Now the good news...Tano uses the system favored by many restaurants in that when the food is ready the expeditor sends it out with kitchen staff. you do not need to rely on your waiter if they are too busy to check on food. Therefore the food is hot and ready and comes out together.
Hey this is Cincinnati, so I will highly recommend Tano for the food and drink, be prepared to be entertained and you need to be patient. We had nowhere to be and we all enjoyed the food and our company, so no harm no foul.
cannot recommend - mediocre bottled beer - no drafts - just so so food - this is second here will not be back
We were lucky to be there when the Butterfish was the special. Best fish ever. Have only had it twice and both times at Tano's!
Had the Cobb salad and was wonderful plus fish tacos were terrific.
love the food and will be back again:)The wine selection was good too:)....
Salmon omelette was excellent, service was very poor. Must have been short staffed... will be back but really hope service improves.
Food was great
Tano's was fabulous as always...Great lunch with my two cousins!
We all enjoyed our evening. Good wine list w fair pricing. Interesting menu, constantly changing so when server didn't know the answer she dashed off to kitchen to inquire. My salad came minus several listed ingredients, the server & manager promptly handled that. Food was was good, some of the entrees were excellent, like the duck tacos.
We ate here for our anniversary and the food was very good. My wife said it was the best creme brûlée she's ever had - we would definitely return for future date nights.
Beautiful space, great food, but our server seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. Very noticeable & was a disappointment for us. Everyone else who assisted us was very pleasant.
