Food and drinks were great. Our waiter was FANTASTIC! Live music was also awesome. Love this place
A warm welcome, a great selection of excellent red Argentinian wines, perfect food — like a warm evening in Buenos Aries. We look forward to getting back to Tango soon!
Very long wait times for food
Great food and the staff was excellent! I got the sirloin steak, tango fries, and medley of vegetables. I ate everything on my plate, plus the lovely glasses of pinot noir that complemented my dinner. Went with a few friends and the atmosphere and food were perfection!
A very enjoyable outing. The staff was excellent and professional. The food was different and very tasty. My steak was superb!
Always delicious and a treat.
My meat was almost well done, I had ordered medium. I didn’t order sauce to add to the filet mignon so the food was kind of dry.
Really bad costumer service!
Not so good food cality.
We had a great time at Tango. The staff was knowledgable, friendly and attentive. I would recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere.
Love the food and service!!!
The kindest owners and the best food. We love this restaurant.
Seated 15 mins after our reservation time. Other than that, great.
As always Tango delivers wonderful food in a warm atmosphere with great service
Great food and drinks and service.
Tango is a friendly and enjoyable neighborhood restaurant. The menu features a wide variety of Argentine classics as well as "kitchen specials". My husband had the Tango Tips with Tango fries from the "specials" menu, while I had the pork tenderloin served with cherries. Both were excellent. Tango seems to be a favorite of couples as well as larger groups and families. Make sure you make a reservation. Tango is always quite full!
Food was delicious!
We wanted to try something different and had heard good things about it. If you’re strictly going for the meat, it was great; the rest of the food was meh. Cute spot, but not one of our favorites.
It was our first time at Tango and first time at an Argentine restaurant. We had salmon and lamb. Both were excellent and the lamb particularly succulent and expertly done. Our waiter was attentive, polite and helpful in making our food and dessert choices. The dulce con leche dessert was out of this world!
We will be back!
This is my favorite restaurant in Arlington!
It was excellent food and excellent service, highly recommended.
The food, atmosphere, cocktails, appetizers and desserts were wonderful.
Trying a new restaurant.
The grilled food here was excellent. The pork tenderloin with a cherry and wine reduction sauce was outstanding (Day's Special). The grilled sampler platter (PARRILLADA ARGENTINA) was amazing and 1 serving was enough for a second dinner. All the plates were generous and enough to have a second meal at home. The passion fruit mousse was both tangy and sweet, delicious. The app. Dátiles al Tocino: Dates wrapped in bacon, provolone were fabulous.
First time just trying something new
We had 7:15pm reservations for a party of 4 and were sat within a few minutes. However, by the time our appetizers came the waitress told us they had run out of filet mignons. My husband ordered the sirloin which was ordered rare and cooked to perfection but our friends medium rare was over cooked. They both raved about their baked potato! The fourth ordered salmon which he said was ok. Why one orders fish when they eat meat at a steak restaurant I will never understand!
The beef and chicken empanadas were excellent. Other than making you order 2 orders I can never understand why apps come in 3s when you will always have 4 or more in your party. Even cutting them in half someone always doesn't get an equal share.
My pork tenderloin was the best I have had. Moist and tender and the butternut squash and sweet potato puree was delicious. While I do prefer my vegetables on the crunchy side the zucchini in the vegetable medley could have been cooked much longer.
All in all we will definitely be back but our friends said they wouldn't.
Food was great! Portions better than ample size. Service was friendly, and informed. Atmosphere was energetic and friendly. I would definately recommend it for group get togethers. with friends. I will definately go back.
Had a great meal on Valentines day! Great service, great food. New wine suggested was very good also.
The restaurant was well recommended by friends. However, I was not impressed, nor was my date. Staff was excellent and friendly. However, we both agreed that the food was so-so. Because it was Valentine's day, the usual menu was not available. What was available was overpriced. I have had much better meals for less $ at other restaurants. I doubt I will return to this one, especially given that truly great restaurants are available in Boston and the Cape.
Excellent restaurant with great steaks. Good service
The service was very good. I had the lamb chops with squash/sweet potato puree and rice. I found the squash/sweet potato puree to be to sweet. Everything else was excellent.
My date had the pork chop and it was overcooked, dry, and tough. Everything else was good.
The sausage appetizer was just okay.
I would go back again.
Limited menu, but it is a chop house.
Based on previous reviews, we decided to meet at Tango since it was halfway between our two gigs, and there was an option for a dinner reservation as late as 10:30. We made it by 10:40, but the waitstaff was exceptionally pleasant with us as they made it clear we had to order pretty fast. We love the chimichurri sauce (soaked it up), which you can buy by the bottle also, and we both had steaks which were exceptional. As someone who rarely finishes his vegetables, I nevertheless ate all my mixed grilled veggies, and loved every bite. The caipirinhas also were terrific. We'll definitely be back.
This place has excellent food, great service and a really neat vibe and environment.
Great waiter and great food. Nice live music. Not too loud. We could have a nice conversation. The waiter took extra care to explain the menu and recommended steak and apps we really loved. I would definitely go back.
Tango is a great restaurant, and their response to my inquiry was very helpful. The fault in the end lay with OpenTable as a website, not with the restaurant. We look forward to dining here again!
Original: Be careful making reservations using OpenTable. The site doesn't know if the restaurant is actually open. We made a reservation for my wife's birthday, with a gift card that was given for this purpose of a birthday dinner, but they were closed, despite being well within their hours. There was no online notification of their closure, so we were rather upset, and had to re-plan our evening, which was a waste of time, and somewhat soured the gift of a birthday dinner. We hope that more care will be taken with irregular closures in the future. If you aren't open, don't let people make a reservation. It's really quite simple, and should be considered a fundamentally essential feature of this service. Period, end of conversation.
We have been to this restaurant before, and their food and service were great, and we were very excited to go again, and we still are! However, seeing as this review did not actually involve eating any food, my food ratings are based on past visits.
Good service the food is excellent the atmosphere is the best it’s just wowwww great to go with your family or friends
Also enjoy Tango. The steaks are amazing. I love the Baked Potato and Squash/Sweet Potato combo too. Nice list of cocktails. Wonderful service.
Always fabulous food and drink. Different items on menu.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Everything cam out quickly without overlapping the prior course. Our server was attentive without interfering with our meal. The Buenos Aires martini was very good. We enjoyed our meatballs, stuffed peppers and bacon wrapped pork sirloin. The malbec reduction was awesome.
This place as always excellent, food, ambient, service,New Years dinner with my family, we had a grate time, the bartender “Edison”always gives a warm welcome, Armando gets the perfect table, always a good experience, wine suggestions the best.
With no doubt, We will go again, and again. The Argentinian Churrasco , is the best.

First time at Tango. I went with a friend; we both enjoyed it immensely. We each started with a Pisco Sour, a traditional Argentinian drink and it was very well done. Good appetizers and an excellent strip steak. Not cheap but good value for what we got.
