If you want great Argentine steak, this is the place!
I took my daughter to Tango for her birthday. The waiter was very nice and attentive and even surprised us with a slice of cake at the end of the meal. The food was delicious.
Dinner with children who live in different state and country
The service was prompt and attentive. The food came out quickly and was delicious.
My only real complaint is in 2019 either have a hand dryer that actually dries or add towels.
Tango is a casual, friendly, neighborhood restaurant. Its emphasis is Argentinean, but you don't need to be a fan of that cuisine to enjoy dining here. The food is well prepared, portions generous but not overwhelming. Our lamb chops were perfectly cooked rare, the truffle fries delicious. The most wonderful chimichuri sauce starts the meal as a dipping sauce for the rolls piping hot from the oven. So good we bought bottles to take home. We chose corn cakes with smoked gouda as an appetizer. They were so good I could have made a meal out of them. We didn't have dessert, but I bet that would have been great too. Next time! Our waiter Rafael couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. We'll be back, in fact we've been there a second time. A real find!
Warmly welcomed. Was able to pick my own table. Attentive waitstaff . I had to wait for my friend (parking a bit challenging) and ordered a glass of wine. Bread and dipping sauce were delivered. Waiter went over the menu and specials with me. Menu was not extensive but had a good variety of items. Prices seemed a little high for some things. We ordered an appetizer on the specials menu that was tasty and had good presentation. My friend ordered a medium rare steak and it was cooked perfectly. I ordered the salmon. It came nice and hot . The sides were all good.
We were seated quickly and our server was attentive without being over bearing. 10/10
Appetizers are prepared ahead and reheated, and taste like leftovers.
Fabulous food and service was impeccable. Will definitely be back
Our tradition is eat at Tango and attend the Mai Cramer memorial concert each year.
If you want amazing steak that is just as good steak as a fancy steakhouse at a fraction of the price, go here. Have been here many times and everything we have had is excellent.
Probably one of the best steak and lamb chop dinners ive had in the area in years! Absolutely outstanding
Tango is perfect for any occasion. The service is warm and professional. The food is amazing! We love the entrãna and the porteño puré.
Great food, service and a nice casual elegance. I’m handicap and it was easy the maneuver, but I was told by others in my party that the rest room would have been a problem.
The restaurant is very noisy and the tables are pretty close to each other making conversation at normal levels hard to have. The food was ok with a couple of interesting appetizers and the price was fair. The service was very good and prompt. I’ll recommend it only if you live in the area or as a one time only culinary experience.
Definitely for meat lovers but did have a few good veggie options.
The food was pretty good. We tried the empanadas which were great, grilled cheese which was good but could use some chips or something to dip. The bacon wrapped tenderloin was tender and the sauce was great. The portion was huge, took home about 75% of it. Parmesan fries were great and the drinks (cocktails) were great also. The service was pretty bad.
My favorite restaurant, best food and ambience. We celebrate special occasions there and we are never disappointed. Always the same quality food and amazing service.
While the food and overall experience were still enjoyable, the food and service were not quite as good as previous visits.
Tango is for meat lovers. Two of the people on our party do not eat meat. The stuffed peppers weren;t better than I make but good. The meat lovers said the pork chop and the steak were very good. We liked the place, liked our server, but waited about an hour for the entree. The wait was long enough that we had to ask. I am glad I tried it but there are simply so many value priced steak and meat options that it is unlikely I will return.
Love Tango but it is always too loud, something should be done to address acoustics, thanks!
Delicious food! Fantastic drinks! Fun atmosphere!! Shout out to the best waiter Edison!!
Wonderful food and atmosphere in the heart of Arlington Center.
This is a favorite destination for us, always satisfied with our choices
wonderful Argentinian steak-centric menu, nice festive vibe, not too noisy, but definitely festive. The maitre d' and staff are extremely attentive and the food is always very high quality. I'd stick with the steaks.
Just simply relaxing. Good food, nice drinks and wine. Great atmosphere.
One of the best meals I’ve had in about the last 5–10 years. We had the beef croquettas, cheese dip appetizer, and churasco steak with the house chimmichurri (amazing stuff). Also, great cocktail selection
I made a reservation and arrived at a nearly empty restaurant. We were ushered to a table in the absolute rear of the restaurant near the kitchen. I refused and asked to be seated closer to the front. I don't think someone who bothers to make a reservation should be ushered to the rear. I am left wondering why.
Great food, friendly and attentive service, never rushed and right in Arlington center with easy parking in the municipal lot!
We dine at Tango on our anniversary every year. Love the food - Argentinian, excellent steaks, pork chops, try the carpaccio and chocolate mousse cake. Live music on Thursday’s. Warm and friendly people any night. We were married there so it’s very special to us, great memories on consistently excellent food. Always leave happy.
Very good meat . The Argentinian empanadas great and the lamb chops amazing.
Soy Argentina y venir a comer a Tango es como estar en casa. La comida, el ambiente, los mozos , es como un pedacito de mi pais aca en USA. Volvería todas las veces que pueda.
I was disappointed in the sirloin steak--rather tough, not particularly flavorful, and closer to medium than the medium/rare I ordered. Others in the party were happy with what they ordered.
Our 1st time to Tango - and the 4 of us loved it! My husband and I had the filet and it was amazing. Great with the chimichurri sauce. Our waiter was so personable, helpful and fun. I wish I could remember his name - but he was great.
It was a nice surprise being treated to a round of port wine to go with our desserts as well.
Thanks Tango - we'll be back,
Great service and very good food. The owner/manager called us to change our reservation time slightly to reduce a potential wait for our group, and the waiter was friendly and helpful.
Food is good, service very slow and felt frantic, noise is way too high for conversation.
Excellent as always
I like Tango and everything was good, but:
it was a tale of two steak orders. I ordered strip steak medium rare. Cooked perfectly with a char on outside and dark pink on inside. My husband ordered steak tips medium. Grey on outside, some were a a bit cooked, rare on the inside. Surprising for a special. I would think the kitchen would pay more attention to the specials. We didn't comment until after the meal because my husband doesn't like to make a fuss. The waiter offered a soft apology. Waiter also spent more time with diners that arrived after us, so we were still eating when others had come and gone. Not sure what the issue was. The brussel sprouts and bacon special appetizer was so good I could eat it every day.
