I ordered the bass which was good. It comes with white rice which was so fluffy and delectable. My mother in law had the butternut squash four cheese ravioli. The whole dish was off and it lacked a lot of flavor. It was quite bland. The rest of my family all ordered pasta dishes which they said were ok. I did not try them however I did try the Butternut Squash Four Cheese Ravioli as I was considering that as a dish to order so I wanted to see what I was missing. Glad I chose the bass. The service was great. The food is over-priced, it's very expensive. It's the Hyatt though so I guess that's what you get for going to a Hyatt restaurant?

The food was very good, but my expectations for the environment a little different than the reality. We were seated near a drafty, busy door to the outside patio.

I thought it would be a more upscale dining experience. It is open tot he lobby with a relaxed dress code. Perfect for a nice lunch, but I would choose somewhere else for a special occasion dinner.

Better than many hotel restaurants, Tanglewood at the beautiful Hyatt Regency resort is a good pick for those in the area. We enjoyed the Asian buffet which had a limited but tasty array of dishes.

My husband and I went on a date. The food was WAY overpriced. They brought the wrong meal to my husband, so I ate by myself... then waited for him to get his meal. Fettuccini pretty flavorless. Overall, I'd like my $120 back

Meh. Beautiful campus at the Hyatt but the restaurant was just ok. Premium prices and nothing special for food quality. Sea bass was bland and the chick parm was fine but not great. Nice people and nice place but for the price not great.

I planned my first date with my new lady-friend and we thought the Hyatt Regency in Coconut Point would be a perfect place and needless to say; it went very well. Of course the ambiance, food, drinks and service of the Hyatt hotel made the evening perfect.
After dinner we walked around the property which is breathtaking at night, we spend some time at the fire pit and the bar and they almost had to kick us out....we just didn't want to leave.
It goes without saying that we will be back, thank you Hyatt and the people that make Hyatt for what it is !

The pasta was homemade and delicious but the cut of meat I had was terrible and 38.00?? They had a taco and pasta night that were good for the kids but definitely not for adults. Wouldn't go back but was pretty much the only choice in the hotel for a sit down everything else booked.

They changed the good sun harvest Florida orange juice . The French toast is also not the same. In general, quality of food has been changed . Service which was excellent by a waiter name terry is also gone. Too bad. We usually went every Sunday.

We went to the buffet for breakfast.
Pluses:Omelette table and the young man who cooked and explained the many choices,he'said a keeper. The fruit and bakery selections.
NEGATIVES:TOASTER DIDN'T TOAST EVEN AFTER TWO TYRES.,HASH BROWNS BROWN ON TOP ,TOTALS WHITE AND COOL ON THE BOTTOM..THEY MUST PUT THEM IN OVEN AND COOK THE TOP,THEY SHOULD MIX THEM UP OR COOK ON A GRILL.
YOU NEED A FOOD TESTER IN THERE EVERY WEEK CHECKING EVERYTHING.
ALL PERSONAL STARTING WITH VALET ,RESTAURANT PERSONALLY WERE GREAT.

The restaurant was busy with corporate clients. Our server was "in the weeds" and not available when we had requests. My Cobb Salad was served without dressing and my husband's burger was not served with a special request made at time of order. So, we sat without touching our meals for ten minutes or so. The burger was tepid and was sent back to the kitchen. My salad was very nice but about half the size of the customary portion. Our server did have the cost of the burger removed from the bill. The lunch was disappointing and confusing.

We've been back to Tanglewood every time we're in the area. Beautiful venue and great food. Typically, after breakfast, we take some time to stroll the grounds.

On vacation here at Hyatt Resort at Coconut Point. Have ate at all three restaurants on immediate hotel property. Tarpon Bay and Mangroves great for their price point. Tanglewood not up to par. During holiday week, place was empty...limited menu, food prep doesn't meet price, atmosphere sterile. Nice lady who waited on us and appreciate her efforts. But this place needs to be rethought as a dinner venue. I am sure Hyatt can do much better in this space. May be good for breakfast, but skip it for dinner!

We loved seeing the gingerbread houses. BUT __ we were NOT informed that there was an Extremely Limited menu on our visit to Tanglewood. We should have been told so we could come another night.
Also, my guests ordered the Special Prime Rib. His was perfect, but Hers was cold, as was her potato. The kitchen warmed up her dinner -- she got a Hot plate but the meat and potato were still COLD. This was embarassing as I was entertaining out-of-town guests and had promised them a good dining experience on their last evening in Estero.

Went here twice in one day, for breakfast and dinner, while staying at the hotel. Had the same server for both meals, and she was friendly, but left us alone for 30 minutes each time in a mostly-empty place. Food was good but the service killed it. The decor is nice but there isn't much character--it's just a sectioned-off portion of the lobby. Even though it's on OpenTable, I don't think anyone would want to come here unless they were already at the hotel for some other reason.

Tarpon Bay at this hotel, on the other hand, is an outstanding stand-alone restaurant worth going to even if you're not staying at the Hyatt.

Food was ok. However, from the appetizer to the entree, the ingredients advertised in the menu didn't make it to the plate. There was a cheese and stone fruit plate, and I got two kinds of apples. I ordered shrimp scampi. The shrimp had no seasoning and were boiled in a watery sauce. It came with asparagus that wasn't cut properly and wasn't advertised on the menu (or else I would have ordered something else).

The service was excellent, and the setting was beautiful, but I probably wouldn't return.

We went for the breakfast buffet around 10am. It was not very busy so all if the items had been sitting for awhile. Food was dry and some of it cold. I wish they would replace the items if they sit for extended period of time. No one at omelette station, Options are not that plentiful considering its 22.00$ per person. Service was ok. Called and spoke with manager who was very nice but still a bad experience. Surprising because all other dining options in the hotel are wonderful!!!

We were in the mood for "brick-oven" pizza. Being the Hyatt, we naturally thought it be an artisan, maybe even New York style, but what it was, was a total disappointment. It was a dry chunk of over-baked, seasonless, tasteless piece of bread with no sauce, gummy cheese that more closely resembled an old, frozen, supermarket pizza instead. Moreover, it was served on a dinner plate and the waiter had his finger in it (the plate). Not classy. We chose a salad in which we had to comprise and sadly no where near organic, nor good. At least the cabernet sauvignon was ok. No points taken away from the waiter, Larry, who was very good and nice enough to take the sad example of a pizza off the tab. They should be ashamed of themselves. We like clean, organic, healthy foods and don't mind paying a little extra for it. They do have grass-fed burgers, but with fatty buns & GMO potatoes probably cooked in cheap, unhealthy oils. Not cool.

When you walk into Tanglewood you feel like you are in the 'lobby restaurant' of a Hampton Inn. So disappointing. All it would take for dinner is to put white clothes on the tables. Our waiter Larry was a good server. He had some suggestions about menu choices.

The food was presented nice (looked good) but is was by far the most non-tasting meal we have ever had in a restaurant. My husband ordered the rib-eye (requested medium rare but it was so thin that it was medium to med-well) and it looked like it had been cooked in an oven - no color whatsoever and no searing at all. Tasteless. The only highlight on his plate was the fries, and they were plentiful! I ordered the fish and it was a nice presentation, but even with extra lemon it had no flavor at all. The sweet potato hash did not either. I am wondering if the chef (cook?) ever tastes what he sends out?

Needless to say, this is not what we expected from this resort dining experience.

We were greeted and asked for drink order. We asked if there was other soups available and the server said no. Two of us ordered conch chowder and two different soups appeared. My son ordered a Margerettia pizza and it came with pineapple thrown all over it. Time for the birthday cake I brought and someone cut into it before it was brought to the table.

The lunch was a total disappointment!!! Horrible
