Food was bland, server seemed rushed despite the fact the restaurant wasn’t crowded or very busy. Just a very mediocre meal without much flavor.
The only disappointment was the menu was missing several items displayed on the website. And for some reason they were offering a buffet - not a good look for their price range
Wonderful service. Very attentive.
Restaurant was quiet - I had a business meeting with my office - it was wonderful.
I forgot to tell my server that I was not fond of a particular item when I made my order. She was very quick and efficiently replaced my plate. I was almost embarrassed to ask for the correction because it was my fault. The serving team made me feel respected and appreciated.
Menu is limited but food is always excellent as is the service and the ambience. One of our favourites for quiet dining with simple but excellent food.
The atmosphere was nice, but they never placed our app order, we waited 20+ minutes for pie drink order, the prime rib cuts we ordered were a 10oz and a 14oz, but we received the 10oz for both. The restaurant was quiet, but the meal was just mediocre. The waitress was so kind and polite, but forgot to place our app order as noted above. The local single branch restaurants outside of the hotel were the same price, and the food was much better.
My wife and I enjoyed each meal we had at the Tanglewood. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of foods and everything was very fresh. Lunch came promptly and my burger was hot and delicious. We both had steak for dinner and it was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was friendly, accommodating and attentive. We would do it again for certain.
Came on Valentine's Day was a little disappointed with the quality of the food I sent my meal back. and the limited menu and it was definitely little more expensive than what they were giving you however we've eaten lunch and breakfast here and that is the best time to come we eat breakfast here every day and have absolutely no complaints .as for dinner I would go to the signature restaurant Tarpon grill
We were very disappointed this year for Valentines evening. I checked there web site on Sunday and found a special menu listed for $48. We get to restaurant Weds evening and the special was now $78. Seems like the website was last years menu. So all 7 of us were not very happy. Will probably not go back there again. However The al carte menu we did eat from was very good
We ordered the price fixe menu, service was top notch food a little bland portion size adequate, atmosphere very nice. After dinner took a walk and sat by the fire pit.
A little pricey for the lack of quality steak.
Overall nice night.
Everything was great! Service, gluten free food, regular food for my husband. All around a wonderful dining experience!
They were wonderful; brought special desserts and drinks for our birthdays!
Service was fabulous! Quiet surroundings so we could talk comfortably. Server went out of his way numerous times. Will definitely come back!
Definitely the service needs help and a better value for the dollar.
Great service. Food was just average. Not great at all. I had a Ceasar salad. Not so good
We wanted a good burger, and knew we could get one at Tanglewood! The food is always good and the service, too. Nicole is a pro - very friendly, efficient and professional!
Overrun by uncontrolled children.
This is no more than a cafeteria except
It lacks any kind of ambience. A total failure.
Overall it was just okay. Service was great, very attentive. Food was slow. Part of our group had the buffet so the rest of us had to wait on food off menu. So half the people were finished eating score we got food. Overpriced for buffet.
Disappointed. The di
My friend and I both ordered the Prime Rib which was the toughest we’ve ever had. I suffered through mine but my friend had his replaced with a chicken breast and it was extremely dry. Our baked potatoes seemed old (Wendy’s serves a muck better baked potato) and a tray piled high with dirty dishes was sitting in the corner approximately 10 feet from our table when we were seated and remained there the entire time we were there.
It was like Butlins
I ordered the bass which was good. It comes with white rice which was so fluffy and delectable. My mother in law had the butternut squash four cheese ravioli. The whole dish was off and it lacked a lot of flavor. It was quite bland. The rest of my family all ordered pasta dishes which they said were ok. I did not try them however I did try the Butternut Squash Four Cheese Ravioli as I was considering that as a dish to order so I wanted to see what I was missing. Glad I chose the bass. The service was great. The food is over-priced, it's very expensive. It's the Hyatt though so I guess that's what you get for going to a Hyatt restaurant?
Excellent service! Very accommodating to children!
Excellent, would highly recommend the Petite Bone-In Ribeye. Not so petite but excellent quality and flavor!
The food was very good, but my expectations for the environment a little different than the reality. We were seated near a drafty, busy door to the outside patio.
I thought it would be a more upscale dining experience. It is open tot he lobby with a relaxed dress code. Perfect for a nice lunch, but I would choose somewhere else for a special occasion dinner.
Would return for appetizers. Entrees were terrible.
Better than many hotel restaurants, Tanglewood at the beautiful Hyatt Regency resort is a good pick for those in the area. We enjoyed the Asian buffet which had a limited but tasty array of dishes.
The handling of my bill was not good. The sevice -boy had to change 3 times my bill. But at least it was still not korrect and he could not explane wy and how many points aut of my Goldpassport-Points they used.
Food was fantastic and service was excellent! Highly recommend. Great atmosphere.
Easter brunch was outstanding
My husband and I went on a date. The food was WAY overpriced. They brought the wrong meal to my husband, so I ate by myself... then waited for him to get his meal. Fettuccini pretty flavorless. Overall, I'd like my $120 back
Meh. Beautiful campus at the Hyatt but the restaurant was just ok. Premium prices and nothing special for food quality. Sea bass was bland and the chick parm was fine but not great. Nice people and nice place but for the price not great.
I planned my first date with my new lady-friend and we thought the Hyatt Regency in Coconut Point would be a perfect place and needless to say; it went very well. Of course the ambiance, food, drinks and service of the Hyatt hotel made the evening perfect.
After dinner we walked around the property which is breathtaking at night, we spend some time at the fire pit and the bar and they almost had to kick us out....we just didn't want to leave.
It goes without saying that we will be back, thank you Hyatt and the people that make Hyatt for what it is !
The pasta was homemade and delicious but the cut of meat I had was terrible and 38.00?? They had a taco and pasta night that were good for the kids but definitely not for adults. Wouldn't go back but was pretty much the only choice in the hotel for a sit down everything else booked.
They changed the good sun harvest Florida orange juice . The French toast is also not the same. In general, quality of food has been changed . Service which was excellent by a waiter name terry is also gone. Too bad. We usually went every Sunday.
We went to the buffet for breakfast.
Pluses:Omelette table and the young man who cooked and explained the many choices,he'said a keeper. The fruit and bakery selections.
NEGATIVES:TOASTER DIDN'T TOAST EVEN AFTER TWO TYRES.,HASH BROWNS BROWN ON TOP ,TOTALS WHITE AND COOL ON THE BOTTOM..THEY MUST PUT THEM IN OVEN AND COOK THE TOP,THEY SHOULD MIX THEM UP OR COOK ON A GRILL.
YOU NEED A FOOD TESTER IN THERE EVERY WEEK CHECKING EVERYTHING.
ALL PERSONAL STARTING WITH VALET ,RESTAURANT PERSONALLY WERE GREAT.
The views were also kind of nice, their new menu was very good, and the service was friendly.
Great for lunch and breakfast but the dining staff is a bit short of service
The restaurant was busy with corporate clients. Our server was "in the weeds" and not available when we had requests. My Cobb Salad was served without dressing and my husband's burger was not served with a special request made at time of order. So, we sat without touching our meals for ten minutes or so. The burger was tepid and was sent back to the kitchen. My salad was very nice but about half the size of the customary portion. Our server did have the cost of the burger removed from the bill. The lunch was disappointing and confusing.
We've been back to Tanglewood every time we're in the area. Beautiful venue and great food. Typically, after breakfast, we take some time to stroll the grounds.
Good service. Food was average. The menu online was not the same as when we arrived.
