Tanglewood - Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa
Selection of food was good and they were able to accommodate a vegan, gluten free meal. Service was a bit slow but our table to 10 still enjoyed the experience overall.
It was not a very good buffet...my daughter sent hers back and i wish i would not have eaten...she ordered a chicken dish and did not eat that either...
Food was mediocre and overpriced. Very disappointed and regret not leaving the Hyatt for dinner. Much better options off property in Bonita and Naples.
i would recommend because it was convenient. The food was good.
Food was excellent but service was terrible. Ate there the day before and my server was wonderful and attentive and then the next day completely different experience.
While the food was good we were seated next to a large group with numerous unruly children. The parents allowed the children to run around like they were in a playground.
WONDERFUL food! I had the beef tenderloin filet (my absolute favorite food) and think it was the best I have ever eaten! My husband had their buffet, which was Asian theme that night. He raved about his meal, too. Service was excellent. They have a large covered dining patio, too, but the evening we were there was very windy so we sat inside. Floor to ceiling glass so you still have great views!
we invited friends to join us for dinner at the hotel and had an outstanding evening. The food and it's presentation was exceptional. Service was also exceptional. We will definitely visit again when we are is the area.
We called ahead for reservations for party of 4. Seating was quick while service was not.
We all felt the menu was too limited for a dinner meal. 2 of us got the ensalada mista, one got the wedge, one ordered the pizza. Presentation was superb and portions were adequate. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Service, limited menu items and price where my reasons for not giving 5 stars.
Good was average at best. Got the buffet and was shocked by the lack of variety. Good for kids but that’s about it!
Food was terrible! I have come to the Hyatt for over 9 years and have seen many changes. Tanglewood’s food has really declined! The tarpon bay was full so we went to tanglewood. My dad said “ worst food of his life! And I agree ! Too boot not only was the buffet gross the food was super over prized. We went to the local bay house a different night where the food was incredible - we each had an app salad and dinner for less money. Tangelwood needs to ups its game and get over itself
Very good buffet with good variety.
Very good food served super fast!
We didn’t get a great table location but didn’t let that get in the way of having a wonderful experience. It was a good choice and afterwards we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and met a lovely couple and family.
We had a lovely dinner with friendly service. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the outdoor dining space.
I’ve been here for dinner numerous times and always have a great experience, and this time as always the service and decor was lovely. However on this occasion my meal was not up to par. I ordered the snapper. It came out dry and grey, and had a very fishy taste. The asparagus was very oily and had an odd (not good) flavor that I couldn’t place. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as was my companion’s entire meal. Everything else I’ve had there in the past was excellent. We will definitely go back but will avoid the snapper!
A lovely restaurant with a small menu but great food! Noise levels are never too high and the service always great! One of our regular haunts😀
It was a very quiet evening and we so appreciated the noise level. Our waiter didn’t try to rush us and the food was excellent. A little on the pricey side.
Wonderful prime rib special on Sunday night! Our server was very attentive and helpful. It was a very enjoyable dining experience!
Very average restaurant at our hotel in an area with otherwise mediocre choices nearby. Our server was inattentive and generally unknowledgeable about the menu. Food was mediocre to OK.
There are many opportunities to enjoy a filet in the area, however, this was the best I have had! The steak and accompanying sides were far better than nearby designated “steak houses”! I will definitely return.
We are so disappointed with this restaurant. We came to celebrate a birthday and we told that on the reservation, but food was REALLY BAD, they didn’t say anything about the birthday and it was expensive for the kind of food. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING THERE!!! We aren’t NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!! :/
It was just disappointing. The food was not good and the service was bad. Not what we were expecting at the Hyatt Regency.
Food was good. I got a cheese pizza. I don’t usually like pizza, but I ate almost the whole thing. The service was slow, and there were only about 4 other tables with people at them. The food came quickly though.
They were very willing to accommodate special requests. The grilled grouper, grilled vegetables and fruit I asked for was outstanding - fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and attractive presentation.
Had a very nice lunch in a quiet relaxed atmosphere.
Not as good as two years ago. Shrimp scampi should not be over rice. The dish was dry and the shrimp tough. I would not order this again. My husband’s filet was much better than my scampi. Very pricey.
We were staying at the Hyatt and decided to eat at the hotel for dinner. None of the food was fantastic and they did not carry the wine I enjoy - Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. The key lime pie was nothing special either. However, the staff were very attentive. It is a convenient place to grab a bite to eat if you are staying at the hotel.
Service was good, we got the pasta buffet at $28 a person.. food was Luke warm and not as well tasting as it looked... garlic bread was extremely hard. We knew the price and regret deciding on the buffet... decided to visit this restaurant, but will not return..
The food was just so so below the level of a first watch. Not what you expect from a Hyatt. We were there for three days and ate at a number of different places and this was at the bottom of the list. Given the higher prices (normal for a hotel) we expect a higher quality. The food was not particularly innovative either.
Made a reservation here on Open Table.
Received confirmation email for our reservation.
Arrived at the restaurant to find that it was closed for a private function!
I am in a wheelchair and it takes a lot physically to get me anywhere. We were extremely disappointed as I had to struggle to get back in our vehicle to find another restaurant that could accommodate a wheelchair without having reservations!
Bad food. Bad service.
Undercooked meat. Very bad service.
Went there on a Sunday night and they had their Prime Rib special. It was great. Great value. Sat out on their patio. Tables far apart. No squeezing people in. Was a great evening. Perfect end to a great vacation.
The wait staff were untrained (or sexist). The food was bland - the steak I ordered had no seasoning at all.
I have been going to the Hyatt hotel at Coconut point for several years. My family and I have dined at the Tanglewood restaurant many times before. Today was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any Hyatt restaurant. The food was terrible. Hyatt ownership should be ashamed of the status of this restaurant. Nothing else to really say. Just over priced and poor quality.
Food was just ok. Not a good value for the price.
Food was good we had the buffet as fast as the trays were getting low they brought more food out my waiter was very good and was very nice
This restaurant is remarkably underwhelming. The food would have to improve considerably to approach the Olive Garden. Roasted artichoke salad had one unroasted halved artichoke in a bed of over salted under dressed lettuce.
The minestone soup was acceptable if it came from a can.
My linguine with clams showed that the pasta was luke warm and wasn’t at all married to the clams. This clearly could not have been prepared by anybody with any culinary experience. My wife’s Alfredo was Luke warm and gummy. Once again this could have come from a can. I am amazed the Hyatt has this establishment on it’s property.
The dining room was empty and with good reason.
