Great food, great bartenders. There was a minor mix up with my credit card when i paid my bill, so the bar manager came out to fix it, and gave my date and I a free rounds and also a free glass of champagne. Top notch move!

A friend had just landed at Logan, and this was an easy place to eat before driving out to the suburbs. The food was excellent. Service was friendly if a bit limited.

Service was excellent. Only real issue was very limited menu for a large group with mixed tastes. Overall food was very good. We had to move our reservation up Ann hour and they had no issues with that.

When we first arrived there was a decent crowd at the bar and as the evening continued the activity at the bar Dwindled and the rest of the evening was quite enjoyable.

Food was actually very good. They substituted pork instead of chicken on our buffalo chicken nachos without telling us? That was weird, but took of the bill and gave us a lava cake dessert which was great. There are better places to eat in the Seaport but this was a last minute decision and most places were booked. The food was better than the service, the waiter was super nice just inexperienced. I would not hesitate to eat here again. They were also out of all the sushi choices.

Our host was friendly and accommodating. He knew exactly who we were upon check in. Our waitress “Van” was adorable! She was hardworking, attentive and made our night lots of fun! The food came out quickly. Great experience.

It was a busy Saturday night and we were lucky to get reservations for 5 at the last minute at Tamo. It is unfortunate that someone earlier posted a poor review -- perhaps we were the beneficiaries of that discouraging review because we snagged a table that evening for out of town guests who came to Boston spur of the moment. Our service was very good -- the wait staff was quite attentive. It's a fancy gastropub in the Seaport Hotel but there was something on the menu for everyone, including a teenage boy in our party who had a huge plate of chicken tacos. The poke bowls were particularly good and the portions of all dishes were generous. It was a frigid November night but we felt warm and cozy and unrushed inside.

The menu is awkward in layout and descriptions so it doesn’t do justice to the delicious & well prepared items.
The service was great, and the space made it easy for a table of six to converse. That cannot be said for many a Seaport restaurant. Oh, and the $12 wine flight was well thought out but descriptive hang tags off the glasses would have improved the experience.

I actually liked Tamo at first glance and thought the food was good and reasonably priced. We did the Restaurant Week special, and I thought it was pretty sneaky and honesty a little cheap to put a 3 course menu on but in small print say you can only actually pick 2 courses. Also the automatic 18% gratuity for a party of 2 rubbed me the wrong way. Sure we can ask to change it but who is going to ask the waiter to give them less tip? It was weird and actually made me not want to go back.

Food and waiter were both amazing! in a great location and the drinks were delicious as well. The menu has many different types of food on it so anyone can eat there!

One waiter in particular was unfamiliar with the menu. A “banana split” was ordered for dessert that wasn’t at all like the menu described — it came with all vanilla ice cream, no syrup, etc. Brought that to the attention of one of the THREE waiters that served us, and he essentially blew it off. An 18% “service charge” was added to the bill without advising us. I almost gave him/them a double tip. When asked WTF, waiter said cuz they get a lot of businessmen there. Seriously? Never again.

We were seated right away and our friendly (and professional) waiter greeted us, taking our drink order. I asked about the Tamo Martini, no longer on the menu, and he had the bartender make one for me. : ) We both ordered the salmon over black rice and were extremely pleased with the dish. Because we were catching a show at the Pavilion across the street, we didn't linger too long after dinner. We were both happy to have chosen Tamo, among all the new Seaport restaurants that have recently opened, and we look forward to returning!

Tamo was a very odd experience. When we asked for a seat outside, they said they didn't take reservations for outside (only inside) even though we made a reservation already. They still sat us down outside anyways which was good. We had 4 different servers throughout the night, which seemed odd. Took a while to take our drink order. After several waiters had dropped glasses around us (mistakes happen), we ordered drinks. They gave us our sangria in a pitcher with a large crack in the spout and glass missing -- we weren't sure when it was cracked so we were worried that glass might be in the sangria, this could have been very dangerous. They replaced it when we told them. Food was fine, a bit overpriced. Hoping they can fix these odd issues for people in the future.

Very interesting food - nothing I would make - which is what I like when I eat out. The place is not cheap - and they automatically add in the gratuity (I almost always tip 20% - so the 18% they add in is less than I tip - so can't complain about that - just making folks aware)

Love that they had different types of "drink bowls".

That day was no customer at all, I put reservation for birthday. After ate she just brought the check and after I paid she just said I had reserved for birthday. I went to get cake at other restaurant instead.
I’m not sure why just 2 people you are gratuity the bill 18%. But it’s ok, I don’t paid 20%

Our granddaughter flew into Boston on business and stayed at the Seaport, we met her for lunch at Tamo. Very happy with the experience! We had a mid afternoon lunch, restaurant was quiet, seating was comfortable, food was very good and Michael our waiter was most pleasant and knowledgeable, he made the dining part of our meeting terrific.

Lovely restaurant in Seaport Hotel offers an interesting menu, which includes a few surprises (e.g., Nepalese Dal). A gratuity of 18% is automatically included in the check for parties of all sizes.

The restaurant setup is very comfortable. Feels like sitting in a lobby with comfy chairs and you can dine. The service was friendly. We shared chicken nachos, which was a generous portion and had a varied combo of toppings. Tasty! I had scallops with sweet and sour cucumber "noodles" that was delicious. It had a good spice level and was cooked well. Everyone else said dishes were delicious - mixed grill with seafood and chicken curry. Would recommend for casual dining and excellent value. Excellent cocktail too.

It's not easy to find a restaurant where every course is a gem. We even returned for lunch the next day! The Grilled Avocado appetizer is a must. Also very much enjoyed the Sriracha Glazed Scallops and the Ora King Salmon. Perfect ending was the Maple Cheesecake. Service was professional with just the right amount of friendly!
