    The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was just as great! I celebrated my birthday with a dinner at Tamarind and it was a wonderful experience. The lamb chops were especially good — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommended!

    Extra ordinary!!! Beautiful ambience along with amazing food and service. We really enjoyed our time there. Will definitely try again and will try different dishes.

    Not worth the price. Food was way too heavy. scallops appetizer was good. lamb chops were disappointing. Nothing special about the wines by the glass. An Oregon Pint Noir you can buy at a grocery store. Main waiter was a little snobby, food runners were friendly. Was hoping for good NYC Indian cuisine. Didn't get it. Certainly not for the price.

    A Memorable Experience at Tamarind in Tribeca Tamarind in Tribeca exceeded every expectation I had—not only with their exceptional food and elegant ambiance but especially with their warm and thoughtful hospitality. From the moment I walked in, the service was attentive and seamless, creating the perfect setting for a special celebration. What truly stood out was how graciously the staff accommodated a personal request: I had brought in birthday cupcakes from a different bakery, and they welcomed it without hesitation. They even presented the cupcakes beautifully after our meal, which added such a personal and memorable touch to the evening. It's rare to find a restaurant of this caliber that is also so flexible and guest-focused. The food, of course, was phenomenal. Every dish was expertly prepared, rich in flavor, and beautifully plated. The menu strikes a perfect balance between traditional Indian favorites and modern takes, and the quality of ingredients really shines through. Whether you're planning a quiet dinner or a special occasion, Tamarind is the kind of place that makes you feel genuinely cared for. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
