    Great food and terrific location for evenings in Tribeca. It was a busy night at Tamarind and our wait staff had a little difficulty keeping up. We had to ask for a few things (such as our sparkling water) twice. My wine arrived with an unknown brown substance on the glass stem, so I asked that it be cleaned off. A good 15 minutes passed before my glass of wine reappeared (required asking about its whereabouts). We remember previous visits feeling more luxurious and attentive - but not this past Saturday when it felt chaotic and stressed.

    I have been going to Tamarind for 20+ years. They have maintained outstanding quality over the years. My favorite restaurant in NYC! Everything is delicious! Although I go mostly for dinner, the executive lunch is the best value in town.

    I absolutely found Tamarind to be magnificent in every facet from the beginning until the very end Beautiful decor and decadent food that was fresh and pouring out incredible flavors in every bite

    The food was delicious and the portions were more than generous, 1 course left us all full and happy. The Michelin guide review suggests the service is poor, we didn’t see that, our server was attentive and polite and the service all round was really good.

    Everything was absolutely great. The people that attended to us were so nice and helpful. The service was amazing and the food was spectacular!
