Wonderful dining experience. Every dish was delicious and the staff was spot on.
It was great, reservation was for 2 pm, arrived exactly on time. However the kitchen closes at 2:30 pm. A bit disappointed that the kitchen closes before my mail course arrives and rushed to order dessert before having my entree. The kitchen should be open until I leave.
The food and service was absolutely incredible.
One of our guests found the samosa too spicy but the rest of us loved them. Naan was fresh, Service excellent. Chicken dishes with saffron fragrant and flavorsome and not at all spicy.
Tamarind EXECUTIVE LUNCH MENU is value for money. We party of two enjoyed the food and hospitality.
Only suggestion to add dal preferably (Dal Makhani), even if it cost extra dollars to the fixed price lunch.
if you like indian food, this is deffo the best in nyc.
We’ve been coming here over 20 years, and they always deliver on food, service and quality. Beautiful restaurant meticulously managed.
Great food and service; they also accommodated a few specialty orders.
Reasonable food that never went beyond good. It delivere
everything was just off. maybe an off night ?
Great atmosphere and delicious and unique food.
Excellent food - we shared the vegetarian thali and seafood platter, which were plenty for two. I imagine the ambience would be livelier when busier. My only wish is that the air temperature with the AC wasn’t so low that the food was already getting cold before you could eat it. But overall, very enjoyable.
it was amazing as always
We had just come off a jazz cruise on the Hudson (also recommended!) abd got the last booking at 9. We were greeted by the manager in a wonderfully welcoming manner abd show to a cute outside booth which was quiet and well appointed. The menu and wine list were extensive with many unusual dishes and good priced wines as well as more expensive ones. We had paalak chat ( crispy spinach) abd a duck roll to start, shared murgh kolhapuri and steamed rice with jasmine oearl flourless chocolate cake to finish. All exquisite and the servers were all delightful . We will go back: there is so much more to explore.
Excellent dining experience & the best lamb chops ever!
They seated us an hour early without fuss.
We were offered an amuse-bouche.
After placing orders the waitress was honest and told us one dish might not be that good and had a suggested alternative. I really appreciated it!
My cocktail was excellent (cardamom blossom) it was real cardamom not some syrup infused in there.
Ambience is excellent. Not loud and clientele is sophisticated.
Everything about this meal was wonderful. Some people may find it pricey, but it was a delicious meal. The cardamon blossom cocktail and the tamarind cocktail were both delicious too.
Thank you Corina✨🌟⭐💫💥🔥 PERFECT 🔥💫💫⭐🌟✨ what an Amazing Experience. Can't wait to dine again.
Worst food. The quality of food is terrible. Totally not worth it. total waste of money and effort. Chicken tikka masala was sweet. Lamb chops had smell. In Papdi chaat papdi was soggy and worst quality.
Vinay what an awesome job🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟great attitude and very personal. The flavors are just tingling. Thank you Tamarind!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Service was the best I have ever had! Truly wish I could give more than5 stars! First time ever eating at an Indian restaurant and loved it! We were able to watch the food being cooked in the tandoori. Halibut was good!
Food was ok with regards to taste. Need to try more dishes to get a feel. Will definitely revisit
The food and service was exceptional! I can’t wait to come back!
It’s for white Americans who dint know Indian food. The cocktails were just average. Food quality was decent but taste was just average. Overall, if you know Indian food and are looking for upscale restaurant, there are much better options.
I have eaten here 4 times. Every time the food is 5 stars, and the service is 1 star. Provided you are patient can deal with the service, the food is good.
wouldve given 5 stars. at end of night they wrote my CC and felt it was shady
Nice decor and service! Good to get together with friends since it is not noisy, one can hear each other without having to yell. Price point is on the high point , but foos is delicious
Once again Tamarind exceeded or expectations above and beyond. Godfrey was the highlight of our dinner 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✨💫 his wine pairing and suggestions were Awesome.
An excellent dining experience. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious.
We had a spectacular experience at Tamarind Tribeca. The ambiance and decorations are beautiful and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. We were asked for our vaccination cards upon arrival. The service was excellent. Our water glasses were kept full as were our cocktails and wine. Our waiter made excellent recommendations about the food and made sure we understood the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, hot and authentic. We ordered a chicken shahi korma, daab chingri, punjabi mutton (with lamb upon recommendation), milagu curry, as well as rosemary and plain nan and a chutney tasting. All the meals were flavorful and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!
A pleasant surprise, elegant, marvelous food, great staff. We will be back often.
One of our favorite restaurants and food was incredible as always. Service was gracious as always, though the pace was noticeably slower and it seemed that the team was a bit stretched.
Still highly recommend Tamarind, just be prepared for a different experience, at least for now.
The food is delicious but it is very expensive for Indian (especially considering I've lived in London for the last 5 years where Indian is cheap). The service was very good. I'd highly recommend it.
As suggested by the internet, we tried the special dishes on the menu and were definitely not disappointed. Nargis kofta and murgh kohlapuri are worth a try. The service was great too. Although there was noise but it perfectly blended into the background and didn’t bother at all.
We booked a table for 4 yesterday to celebrate my partners birthday - it was a really below expectation experience. We weren’t catered to for good 15 mins after we sat on our table. We did not want to drink on a Sunday night but were again and again shoved with drinks menu even after asking for food menu and mock tail menu several times. The food took a looong time to arrive and arrived absolutely cold. We had to ask them to reheat all the dishes. The presentation was ruined of course after they brought back the food - kind of ruining the experience of a fine dining restaurant. And the worst part is that even the food is nothing close to authentic Indian food!! The only star I gave is for the way the servers were communicating which was super polite and respectful. However we had an overall terrible experience and would definitely choose rahi, Dhamaka or Baar Baar for better food and dining experience!!!
...second time for me...three years in between...reassuring to see an apparent full speed ahead reconstitution of restaurants in Manhattan...this location..no exception...and as it was previously...impressive experience...
Really disappointed with the overall food and experience.
The food is simply incredibly here, the prices very reasonable, and the service outstanding
As Always Awesome Experience 💥🔥💫✨🌟 Highly Recommend
Surprised you. had the restaurant week menu when restaurant week is not onSat it should have been your regular executive lunch
