This restaurant is permanently closed. Tamarina’s ingredient-driven fare respects approachable Italian cooking styles, but is presented in a modern, sophisticated fashion. Whether it’s branzino straight from the Mediterranean or the morning’s fresh, local snapper, Tamarina selects the highest quality, seasonal ingredients and prepares them simply, allowing the natural flavors to speak for themselves. Furnished with dark wood, brass accents and antique mirrors, the restaurant and bar evokes Italian glamour with a Miami accent – chic and lively, yet relaxed and cozy.

Tamarina - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
I had a business dinner at Tamarina and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. All we above quality and the advice of the server was spot on. Order a number of first and second plates to share though recognize they all what I would a bit minimalist, that is small and not of great quantity though absolutely delicious. We have the calamari and Hamachi both of which were great. The flounder, Greek Branzino and Osso Buco were all top grade. If you hungry after the small appetizers, get the Osso Buco. Pretty near to perfection. The server was great. Watch as the 18% gratuity is automatically added; not sure if restaurant or Miami requirement...
I went with my girlfriend for valentine's day for the first time and it was an amazing experience. The location, decor and food were great. The best thing was the service our server Jordan was amazing so was the rest of the staff. I will definitely be coming back!
Everything was very pricey, but excellent. Probably couldn't afford to go very often, but took some family visiting from out-of-town and we were all wowed by it. Impeccable decor, absolutely delicious food (like really, so good), great wine, and great service. Would highly recommend, but be prepared to dish!
We had a gilt and ordered more options from the menu. The Chicken and salmon were delicious! Took my daughter and after seeing the beautiful restaurant, the great staff and tasting the delicious food it is now a contender for her engagement party to be there per the both of us.
Fantastic restaurant. I could not be more pleased with the food, service, ambience and location.
Truly a neighborhood gem. One of the best restaurants in the Brickell area.
My best friend and I were celebrating our birthdays and the restaurant surprised us with delicious, and visually appetizing dessert.
Restaurant ambiance is nice but food quality and service were way under expectation for a business lunch. Error and delay on serving all plates annoyed my business guests, plus a piece of plastic packaging came in one of the starters. Even though we were offered free desert such mistakes are not acceptable in a restaurant of this caliber and price level.
Beautiful place... Came for my birthday dinner with family. Keeping it short as I wrote a longer review on yelp. The food was not good. I am embarrassed to have brought my family here. They did not like the food. Reason was 3 of them ordered pasta dishes and the Lobster and Linguini pasta dish we're very tough noodles... Like super al dente... The texture was horrible!!
I had the Braised Lamb Shank and it was so tough!!! I had to cut with a butter knife!!! N it also lacked flavor! The food did not impress me nor I recommend not to come here again. South beach strip carried better food than this place! Go elsewhere!
Very nice contemporary restaurant, good food, reasonably priced. Our server was super; never absent for too long but not so frequently popping up as to be annoying. Food was good. Only one of us wanted a dessert which took far too long to arrive as it was panacotta and only needed to be removed from the fridge..so our server comped us with a tiramisu. Very nice thought except the tiramisu was actually the only thing we had this evening that we didn't like. It is a large restaurant and was very busy but we could still easily carry on a conversation and tables were set far enough apart that you didn't feel you were joining is someone else's date. Excellent service, especially considering how busy it was.
I do not know where to begin with discussing Tamarina! It was recommended to me by a friend who goes with her family often when they visit Miami. Right now Tamarina is one of the main reasons I want to keep visiting Brickell.
(Parking: Valet available but there is street parking in the area as well)
We were seated outdoors in a booth that was a very comfortable couch with throw pillows. Our waiter was Britney and she was knowledgeable of the menu and very accommodating. She knew what to suggest and knew how to describe the food in detail. She had strong attention to detail as well and we were delighted with her service.
The cocktails we ordered were strong and there were plenty of food options. One of the offers they have right now is Dom P champagne and oysters for $169. To start, we ordered the crispy pork belly, the truffle mac, and an order of mixed east coast/west coast oysters. The moment I tasted the pork belly, I realized I should wait for the truffle mac. I had a feeling they would go really well together so I began cutting the pork belly in cubes. I was right...the truffle mac with the pork belly pieces was DIVINE! I always try mac and cheese when I go to different places and right now, this truffle mac is my fave mac and cheese in Miami.
I had the Rigatoni w/ pork and pancetta. It was creamy and the pork was cooked to perfection. I tried bites of everyone else's entrees and those were great too. The steak was buttery and had this melt-in-your-mouth quality. It was served with this souffle type biscuit that was reminiscent of pot pie crust as well. I probably described it in a weird way but just know it was delicious. Overall, words cannot describe what a great experience we had here from service to food and I cannot wait to return. There were four of us: four cocktails, 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, and two desserts. The bill was $303 with 18% gratuity included by the restaurant that gets split among the staff.
TAMARINA IS A MUST TRY!
