My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here. We both got the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was amazing and the wine was equally exquisite. The service was top notch, very attentive, and made us feel welcomed and important. The sommelier's descriptions of the wines were spot on and the pairings were not only delicious, but just plain fun! The ambience was bustling but not overwhelming and made things lively. We will be back for certain!
Absolutely spectacular. A true foodie paradise! Interesting blend of ingredients and flavors, everything our table ordered was well executed and presented. Definitely a place to go in Philadelphia. Will no doubt be back!!!
The food was over salted. Donuts for desert not cooked all the way through. One of my favorites, but this was an off night.
Everything at Talula’s is consistently excellent. From the food to the service Talula’s is a winner every time.
It was amazing and delicious!
Food was simply spectacular! Knowledgeable staff on the wine.
Just happened to decide upon Tulula's Garden while in town for a conference and meeting up with a friend who just moved to Philadelphia. Could not be happier with our choice, it was perfect! Server suggested the chef's menu, which we decided to do and one of the featured wines.
Personal service, well-paced, excellent presentation and food quality, flavorful, colorful, delightful tastes and flavor.
Already recommended to many colleagues in the Philly area!
Good variety of interesting choices from cheese plates, starters, homemade pasta and mains. Service was top notch and the food served hot out-of-the-oven. I highly recommend this restaurant. There will be something to please every palate.
Our first visit here during a break from the Flower Show. We had high expectations, and were not disappointed. Excellent wine; wonderful apple salad; fabulous clam chowder; and the service was impeccable. As a gluten-free person, I was amazed they served me a house-made gluten free biscuit with chive butter.....YUM.
Always great food and service. Staff is friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. The vegetables side dishes are fabulous. Almost good enough to make me into a vegetarian. The Clam Chowder was light compared to the usual and the flavors were fresh and distinct. Duck with wild rice was fabulous. We highly recommend and send friends and business associates from out of town to Talula's Garden all the time - it is always one of my first or second suggestions.
Hostess and server were pleasant and kind. Food was delicious!
My 12 year old and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We had the fried oysters, the pasta with escargot, the duck confit and ended it with the mascarpone cheesecake
We enjoyed every morsel. One of our favorite meals during our Philly weekend. Will definitely be back again next time we visit
Amazing... the food, the service, the ambiance. MUST GO!
My reservation was for my birthday, as indicated on my open table reservation. Food was great. I was disappointed that others around me were receiving complementary birthday chocolates, but I did not despite my mentioning the occasion when the hostess called to confirm my reservation.
Wonderful in every respect!!
Came here for our anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. We had the DIY cheese board, beers, tuna, pasta, and the lavender donuts. It was all so good. They also made our dinner extra special with a few surprises from the kitchen. Highly recommended! It was one for memory books
Local, enjoyable fresh food. Who could ask for anything more?
Wonderful food and service!
Terriffic - cannot wait to get back here for another meal!
Always a great experience. One of my favorite places to eat.
I love this place, and eat here whenever I’m in Philadelphia. The food is wonderful, and I love the vibe and ambience.
Loved it. Looking forward to eating outdoors in the summer. Prices however are a little too high, a brunch item is same as a lunch entree.
Great food & drink. Great outdoor dining in the right season. Knowledge staff.
This is my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. I ate there three times in one week because I had three different people that are all foodies come to town and visit and they all wanted to try it. It did not disappoint and the experience was consistently FANTASTIC. Service is on point, and they are great with allergy issues. Accommodating and kind - and the food was so on point. The World Traveler cheese board is a MUST. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
My sister, my mom, and I went for my sisters 25th birthday dinner. We have nothing but amazing things to say about this restaurant after this dinner. The place is stunning, and had a great mixture of rustic and modern decor. Our waiter was so nice and informative. Our food was INSANELY GOOD! Our waiter told us that the menu is constantly changing season to season which shows the dedication to serving the best of fresh food. We will definitely be coming back!!
Not as good as last several visits. Shrimp was just ok another dish with lamb was sparse. Portions much smaller . Yes it is still good but has been downgraded from my absolute favorite
I am a "foodie" and this is my new favorite restaurant in Philly. The salmon and lentil dinner entree was out of this world.
What a wonderful restaurant and what great atmosphere-I felt right at home
Talula’s Garden is absolutely beautiful and the service is great. We felt well taken care of though our server could have been a little less “prim and proper” and a little more personable. It’s a warm cozy spot to visit, however the food was very disappointing and very over-priced. I had the Scottish Salmon which had a very overpowering vinaigrette that left the dish with absolutely no flavor except for this very pungent vinegar taste. I couldn’t even taste the fish or vedge at all. The menu is a bit complicated and I’m on a limited ingredient diet so there wasn’t much else for me to eat so I tried to push through but just couldn’t finish. My husband had the tenderloin which he felt was ok but it had a lot of fat on it and it just felt very heavy. The highlight of dinner was the bread before dinner and the butterscotch pudding dessert which my husband both enjoyed very much. We also ordered the carrot and kale appetizer but didn’t finish it as it had feta on it and again too much vinaigrette. My husband had one drink ($15) and I had a cup of tea ($5.) The check was for $145!!! We had massive sticker shock and just felt that dinner was not worth what we are charged. It really is a shame because it is such a beautiful charming restaurant and we really had hoped to go there in the summertime. Perhaps they would be a different menu with some less expensive options, but we just feel that the quality of food do not match the prices. It seems I need to stick to clean farm to table eating the last fussy menu and more affordable options.
Talula's Garden never disappoints. We had excellent wait service and every bite of food was memorable from start to finish. The fried oysters are out of this world. We did not do the tasting menu during our most recent trip, but have in the past and it was amazing and a TON of food. I finished off the meal with the butterscotch pudding - if I could have licked the mason jar I would have! We will be back her again, and again, and again for special occasions.
This was a lovely restaurant experience. The food is fresh, interesting and very good, as well as quite varied. The service, from beginning to end, was excellent and it is a beautiful setting. I don't always bite on the cheese plates, but it is definitely worth doing here. Every dish was fresh and well prepared and the veggies are front and center. Loved the trout--a dish that is often very disappointing. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant--and it was cold and pouring rain that night so we didn't even have access to the garden.
The meal was perfect. Everyone in our party loved each course. Our server was super helpful and steered us in all of the right directions.
Beautiful restaurant, great service and outstanding food!
Amazing. Favorite restaurant in philly
The food was unique and very delicious! The donuts were amazing!
Food and service were fabulous as always. We ordered the chef's tasting and it was superb!
I had dined here about 1 year back and enjoyed the experience. This time the food left a lot to be desired in terms of flavor and creativity. Service and ambiance are lovely.
Excellent meal and wine. The waiter Elaujah was knowledgeable and very professional too. Will be back.
Just wonderful! This restaurant is a go-to restaurant for us especially for special occasions. Our friends loved their meals and the experience and so did we.
Met friends there after the theatre on a Sunday. Food and service was excellent! Will definitely go back.
