Tallulah Wine Bar and Bistro
corn pudding, plums, crispy bacon, campari tomato
village salad, whipped feta, lemon emulsion, herbs
Lamb Ragu Pappardelle
housemade pasta, poached egg, parmigiano reggiano
Sea Bass and Tortellini were very good. They were "out" of beer glasses, drank from the bottle. Ahi tuna and salad very good. Table was cramped and people walking behind me one by one hit my chair or my back. A/C was very cold at the beginning, then it was turned off. (We didn't say anything.)
Love Tallulah. Excellent meal. Excellent service.
The food was great and the service from Brian and the busser was even better.
Always amazing and our favorite restaurant in downtown Birmingham!!! Love everything and everyone at this restaurant-feels like coming home but better!
Too often disappointing
Wonderful food good service. A little pricey but worth it once and a while!
The food was amazing!!! The service was spectacular. I would highly recommend to others. I will definitely be going back! The cocktails here are delicious too.. the dessert tried 3 of them and they were all my favorite…:
The service is excellent - Valentina was very attentive and professional.
Food was good. Wine was average - by the glass selection isn't what it should be for a place like this. Wine glasses should be upgraded as well.
The wine recommended was excellent. The meals were very tasty. Service was attentive, friendly and professional. Had a lovely experience. A bit pricey.
5 Star Chef and Staff
We got sick! Ate a seafood dish and it was spoiled. Ruined my sleep and the next day. My wife had a similar experience there. I think we are done with the place.
Food was excellent and service adequate however, the restaurant was VERY noisy, busy and tables very close to each other. Wait staff and workers not wearing masks. No one social distancing. Felt unsafe
Really enjoy this neighborhood gem. We were in the back room on a Monday night and pretty much had it to ourselves which was lovely. The lamb Ragu and Mushroom tortellini were excellent. And we also really liked the lemon cake for dessert.
Kristi was an attentive and professional server. The food was fabulous as usual. Oysters, carrot ginger soup, and New York strip was delicious!
Very romantic place - great food and nice wine list . The server was very professional - and knowledgeable about all parts of the menu
What a great place! I’ll be back for sure!
Always great food. One of my favorite restaurants. Every aspect of this place is stellar.
Very lovely staff. Amazing food and drinks.
Had a lovely dining experience at Tallulah! Hospitality was top notch. Food was delicious and staff was so attentive. Overall everything was amazing! One of the best restaurants in MI. Will definitely be back.
Great place for dinner. Service was great and knowledgeable.
Food was good and served hot. Friendly service.
We had a great night out with friends at Tallulah! very chic and beautiful food. You definitely need to make a reservation far in advance so plan ahead.
Best restaurant with great staff. Love this place!!!!
Ambiance, dinner, wine and service were all outstanding. Mike, our server, did a great job. Really enjoyed our Saturday night out and will be back!
Our waitress Valentina was amazing and the food was on point as always. One of our favorite restaurants in Birmingham!
Tommy & Dawn
Everything was delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. Overall a wonderful place to eat!
I won’t be going back. It was our first time there. The hostess was extremely disrespectful and the waiter did not care when I mentioned my concerns. A manager did come and speak with us because I was visibly upset, but he barely seemed to care and was not helpful. Unprofessional staff, maybe I’ll come back in a couple years when they have different employees…and a different manager. The one good thing I will say is the food was good. Service was the worst and just seemed cheap and unprofessional.
Everything is wonderful at Tallulah.
After many visits, Tallulah continues it’s consistency with great food and service. With their inviting atmosphere and personalized service, they are a mainstay in the Detroit area restaurant scene. We travel about 75 miles one way to go there, so they must be doing something right! Cheers!
Food is beyond great!!! It’s just a bit too loud but the food is worth it!!!!
love the restaurant=-always
consistence and great-
it was a Tuesday night and packed
We had an amazing waiter who
Food was delicious & service outstanding. Lemon cake dessert was incredible!
Seated at worst table in restaurant in front of kitchen doors. When we asked to move, we were told this table was not an issue.
Our second visit to this great establishment did not disappoint. The unique appetizers (bacon, quail) and porterhouse steak special of the day were superb. The chefs here (I only know one, Sasha, by name) all deserve the highest praise for creating unusual (in a good way) taste sensations. And, the professional - yet very friendly - service provided by Brian made the evening extremely enjoyable. Thanks one and all. Carol & Tom
Everything was excellent. Everything. From the charcuterie board, to the veal, to the service and drinks! Had a wonderful evening
Branzino- perfect. Cacio e Pepe- perfect. Service- perfect.
