Talley's Kitchen and Bar
Great family friendly place. Very friendly staff. Kids love the cotton candy dessert with their meals.
New Years Eve
We’ve started going here every Christmas Eve. Never disappoints! We love this place. Food is fantastic and it just has a cozy and happy vibe!
Delicious appetizers, soups and entrees.
Jeffery is wonderful!
Talley’s always satisfies!!
Great brunch options, friendly staff and family friendly environment.
Talley's is always satisfying. The baked goat cheese starter was hot, with generous and well-seasoned flatbread and more than enough cheese. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the spicy creole shrimp and pasta. My meatloaf with bacon, fried onion and smashed potatoes also features a tangy sauce. Enough for 2 meals. Bernie provided friendly service on a very busy evening. Can't wait to return!
Always the best!! Brunch was fantastic!! Thanks for bringing it back!!
My group had a very average meal. Nothing tasted better than what we could make at home, pork chop, shrimp tacos and strip steak. On top of this, it was very cold inside making the meals even less memorable.
Great evening as always at Talleys. Krista has done a great job with the menus and ambiance. Mandy exceeded expectations for service. Great night out. The live music was a total bonus. Great time. Thank you!!!
Hidden gem in the Western suburbs. Well executed menu, friendly service, cozy ambiance, fair prices.
Amazing food, incredible service, special atmosphere.
Great experience. Enjoyed the Steak special on a Tuesday night, and it’s a great value. Decent steak and excellent service made for a very good evening.
Shrimp tacos were good, nothing extraordinary though, however, rice that came along with them was very good! The sausage flatbread was pretty good. Potato fritters sounded better than they were - just ok. Bacon wrapped meatloaf was good but bacon was draped on top. Sesame tuna appetizer was ok. Overall, nothing bad, but no reason to go back because nothing stood out.
Always have a great meal! Moving back from the city but always know Tally’s will not disappoint. Not sure why they are not always busy!!!
Our first time here. It was very good. We had pork chop and scallops at our table. Cooked perfectly and very tasty.
Never disappoints! Green bean app can't be beat! A cozy dinner on a rainy night - perfect!
Some new menu items and the same old, pleasant vibe. Keep making more menu changes!!
We sat for about 10 - 15 minutes without a server approaching the table. I understand waiters get busy so there should be some backup to either inform the server that another table has been sat or if it appears a table has been unintended have someone, a hostess etc, come over and ask if anyone has gotten a drink order.
We had a very nice time and the food was excellent.
Great food and value!!! Nice ambiance and service.
Just a great local place to get some wonderful food.
On top of that, they recent added some items to the menu, which were ultra tasty. If you haven’t been in a while, you should check it out (my fave new item was the baked chicken wings... blew away my expectations).
Talleys is our go to place for a nice meal and glass of wine in a nice setting with neighborhood feel. Our Server Jeff is good fun and takes good care of us. ( He looks just like Tim Robbins). Families, couples just off the train, date nighters, all together enjoying dinner.
Brought my colleagues from Sweden here for a casual neighborhood joint but nice dinner experience. Tally’s knocked it out of the park. Food was over the top, service was beyond compare, wine was perfect. This group have been to many well known Chicago steakhouses and other noted restaurants in and around the western suburbs. All five said this was best dining experience in Chicago to date. Thank you for a great night.
The hummus starter was excellent - great lemon and rosemary flavors. The scallop entree was fabulous and I am super picky about scallops. Very hard to find scallops not over or undercooked. Nicely browned and full of flavor on a bed of rice with bacon and corn pieces. Hubby had the filet, served medium, and it was great. Best meal!
This was our first visit to Tally's and we LOVE IT!!! We sampled many items from the menu and each was unique in flavor, fresh tasting and very nicely plated and presented. We started with flatbread which was crisp and flavorful. Our salads were wonderful, just the right mix of add on's and dressing to make them just right. I had trouble deciding on an entree. I would say that for the first time, there was not one item on the menu that I would not have wanted to order, based on the preparation of the entree's. The table shared the tacos, steak & frites, tuna appetizer, filet appetizer and the salmon entree. There was not a crumb left on any of the plates. We didn't really want dessert, but the blueberry waffle ice cream, bread pudding, and key lime cup were calling our names...and we were very happy we listened!
Tally, the owner, is an energetic, kind, fun, caring business owner who checked on each table several times while diners were enjoying their evenings. We are making plans with frineds to return several times over the next 2 months! I would rate Tally's 10 start out of 5 stars!!!
Hostess forgot to seat us when our table was ready. But she remembered to seat everyone else who arrived after us.
Don't get the panko crusted chicken-must be made ahead of time because it was very dry and was supposed to have a butter caper sauce but did not. Green bean app is great! Live music is kind of loud.
Great staff! Cozy, comfortable environment with quality food. Glad to see a new menu, can't wait to try it all.
Excellent food and great service! I almost forgot about this wonderful little gem! It’s in the small friendly town of Clarendon Hills where you can often run into a familiar face. They have one of the best burgers and truffle fries I’ve had.
The salmon with pesto risotto is delicious!
I’ll definitely be back more often!
Excellent. Friendly. Welcoming. I just wish they would shake up the menu.
Everything was exceptional from the mushroom flatbread to the gnocchi and the panko chicken but what proved to be the highlight of the night was the meatloaf that was expertly cooked and seasoned with mashed potatoes and a sauce with just the right touch of sweetness. And don't forget the ask for the skillet cookie sundae that was to die for.
Boring food. Not as tasty as usual.
Cool place. Delicious food, great service!
Excellent service, food, and ambiance! Bacon flat bread and buffalo shrimp appetizers were great; we enjoyed shrimp tacos, panko chicken, and salmon for dinner at our table. Thanks for a nice dinner!
Made reservations on Open Table which was very easy. Had the steak and frites with the blue cheese butter. Service was great as always.
Service and food were great. Loved the grilled vegetables And risotto!
Love this restaurant.
We went on a Sunday night of the 4th of July weekend, so it was very quiet. Everything we had was outstanding. I had the scallops and risotto. Absolutely delicious. Not a huge portion (3 scallops), but $24 is less than you pay at other restaurants. My husband had the meatloaf and enjoyed his as well.
