Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Had reservations at 9:15pm arrived at 9:00pm didn’t get seated until 11:00 pm by 12:30am we had where on our 3rd course out of 5 for this Valentine’s Day menu. I asked waitress to cancel remaining entree and dessert and to please hand me my bill. I was discounted all alcohol but feel like I waisted 3 hours when I could of have gone to a local sushi spot
Everything is very good, the food, the ambiance especially the service. I took one star off of the overall for not having its own restroom. They share the restroom with Elevate Lounge, the restroom was packed the whole time we were there and people are drunk and messy. Other than that, its a very good place, i would still recommend. I suggest you go to your bathroom first before going here lol.
I went out for dinner with my sister. We both encountered dirty plates! When I told the waitress, she said the ates where not dirty, but that they were just out of the dish washer. My dish has some residual lemon pulp and my sister’s had greasy fingers all over it. I politely insisted she changed my dish. We ordere appetizers and entrees, but the food ended up coming all at once, so we sat there sipping along for about 20 min before we could eat anything. Overall, not happy with this place.
Fantastic service at the inception with Cheyenne. Awesome knowledgeable waiter James, made good recommendations! To top it off David with Management stopped by to take care of me too! Awesome food and will be back. A challenge to find but well worth it on the 21st floor with views to dazzle. Thank you and kudos to the chefs! See Yah all soon.
I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is on the 21st floor so you get a great view. However, if you're seated near the windows, it's FREEZING. There were some heaters but they weren't near us.
Also, there was a party going on at the bar side and it was very loud. The bathroom lines were really long too since there was a party going on. The food was okay. I ordered sushi rolls and a salad. I've had better sushi. The dessert was the best part. You're really paying for the view. Our waiter was fantastic, but I probably wouldn't go again.
The service and food was amazing! The only issue we had was the security made us wait in the line for the club when we were there for dinner and my husband was accosted by bathroom security cause they thought he was a club goer, the manager and our server were amazing. The food was so so so so so good. The club next door can kick rocks. It was insanely loud. We’d go back, just not on a night the lounge next door is open.
I sat at the sushi bar to catch up with an old friend and found the fish to be quite fresh and the rice, the most important part of sushi nigiri, just about perfect. The sushi chefs were friendly and quite sharing with information about what was freshest and recommended. No tamago, though.
This is my second time dinning here. I brought my husband for his birthday and was very pleased with the entire experience. My husband loved the food and the entire evening. Our server was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The food was everything we expected and more. The flavors and freshness really set this establishment apart. Thank you for an enjoyable dinner. We will be back.
The food at Takami is very good, which is to be expected. They have some appetizers and some rolls that are very interesting but generally the sushi and rolls and hot entrees are what you’d expect from an above-average sushi restaurant. But the service is excellent and the ambience is cool given its height and views of downtown. Definitely would recommend!
