We enjoyed the chef's sample plates (5) where we picked 3 and the chef picked 2 of his choice. As the restaurant is closing/changing we did our Valentine's dinner early. We will miss the interesting seafood choices that you won't get any place else.
Thanks Jose for a one of a kind restaurant in Omaha!

We ordered the 3 course meal foe thirty dollars, it was unique and good but a total rip-off. The value of the food was equal to about 10.00 or less. Not even the size of a young adults finger was the serving size.

We had an 8:15 reservation for our anniversary. We did not get sat until after 9. 20 minutes after being sat we had to flag down a server due to no one coming to our table. Apparently the servers had miscommunication and each thought the other had our table. The menu that was advertised online was not available. We both had crab cakes that seemed like they had been sitting for a long time before coming to our table. We both had lobster for our main course and it was so over cooked we didn't even eat most of it.

Our reservation was at 7.45pm and we actually got seated at a table at 9pm. We understood they were very busy and it's hard to know how long diners will take. We were offered champagne while we waited. Our food however was awesome and staff very attentive.

This is my favorite restaurant. If you want amazing full flavored dishes come here. Everything is fresh and hand made. Chef José's sauces are divine. Every time I eat heat I want to pick up the bowl like a little kid and sip on what's left over. The food is also incredibly low price for what you get. We ordered 75% of the menu and the bill was $160. This included drinks, 3 full entrees and every appetizer they had on the menu that night. He also uses sustainable food sources if that is important to you. Here's what you and your significant other need to order: Apps: seafood board, ceviche, beef heart skewers and lamb skewers. Main course: waygu beef stir fry and whatever his fish of the day is. You can't go wrong with anything you get there. LOVE YOU TAITA <3

This s a great little restaurant and I am so glad I was finally able to give it a try! Arrived and was disappointed to see the scallop two ways dish wasn't on their newest menu but saw a few other items that compelled me to stay. Ordered the crab risotto, asparagus and sautéed bok choy. The crab dish was excellent and both the sides were good but a little saltier than needed. As an added plus, the bartender made a version of their cubra libre with ginger ale - I loved it too! I will be going back ~

We've loved this place since we found it a few years ago. Best prepared food in Omaha, quality fresh ingredients. The chef brings eclectic dishes to the table. We've had almost everything on the menu from scallops, trout, crab and red snapper. Yucca fries are a must!!

While we successfully made reservations for a birthday celebration dinner via Open Table, when we arrived the restaurant is actually closed Sundays and Mondays which is not indicated on the site, and we had to find a different spot to celebrate.

Tried the Omaha Restaurant Week menu. The place itself is really small but the food is awesome. The best part was the steak, probably one of the best I've ever had and well worth the money.

I had the restaurant week tasting menu which was delicious. My husband had calamari, ceviche & escolar grilled bites (there was a specific name) and they were all very good.

Terrible experience! Arrived at 6:55 for 7:00 pm reservation. The hostess said there was a disconnect between Open Table and their reservation log. Seated at 7:05, drink order not taken until 7:13, drinks arrived 7:18, appetizer order taken 7:3o and arrived 7:45. We asked about the slow service and were told there was "only 1 guy" in the kitchen. We finally cancelled our dinner order and paid for our drinks and app at 7:50 with the hostess...she didn't have any urgency for the situation which made the situation more frustrating! Only 1 server in the restaurant with the hostess seemingly sitting behind the bar, which only had 4 people. She definitely could have been out on the floor helping! I will not return or recommend this restaurant!
