Tonight we are serving a fantastic $84 per person, 5 course menu featuring luxury ingredients such as oysters, foie gras, and truffles all perfectly composed by our TAG culinary team. We will also have an optional wine pairing offered at $40 per person. We will not be serving an a la carte menu.

Loved the octopus & cauliflower app. So tasty
The short ribs and black miso cod were yummy.
Banana cream pie for dessert. Great meal.
Exceeded my expectations. Great chef with interesting twists on some old standards. Everything we ordered from the appetizers to the salad to entrees to desserts was excellent.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We absolutely loved our food.
We love good restaurants...We've eaten at some of the owners other spots so we were excited to try the original. Our visit is best described as hit or miss.
We ordered the Sliders as an appatizer.....menu said waygu or kobe so i was expecting the best slider ever. They were overcooked tiny patties with soo much bread for bun that the flavor was hard to detect...for $16 it was way overpriced.....The duck fat fries that came with were amazing...my wife just wanted to eat the fries.
For Dinner she got the Sea bass which was good and I got the lamb ribs. The lamb was pretty tasty but a small portion for the price ($33). I was still hungry when i got home however.
Service was ok at best...our server seemed disinterested...maybe just having a bad day.....not once did he enquire what we were celebrating or acknowledge a birthday etc.....not that he should...but good restaurants/servers usually do.
So not bad experience.....just underwhelming from what we were expecting.
A few words will say it all. CAN NOT WAIT TO RETURN. The octopus starter was fabulous. The mussels magnificent. The vegetarian plate delicious. Perfect place to go before DCPA.
This was our second time to visit TAG. Both occasions were memorable and walking away very satisfied with our experience. It can sometimes get a little noisy, but we like the high energy. Amazing speciality drinks, service and food. Highly recommend!
My wife and I had an enjoyable meal at Tag-Larimer St. Very creative and delicious appies. The table for two that we had was not conducive to good conversation as it was long and we had to lean over the table to hear each other talk. The smaller tables are also very close together so there is not much of a sense of privacy. The service we received was very good.

We went to dinner on New Year's Eve at 8:30 pm and the restaurant was busy. We were promptly seated and the wait service was very attentive. My companion ordered the NYE special menu and I did my order off a limited service menu due to the holiday. Her's included wine pairings with each course. As a wine fan who had done many meals with Chef selected pairings, she found TAG's wasn't not really very good. The waiter being attentive picked up on this and removed one pairing that was awful and augmented her glass for the next pairing which she did like. Her meal was 128.00 so for a value perspective we didn't feel it measured up. For mine, the sushi tacos and the greens salad were fantastic - would order that again for sure. My entree was the Prime Strip but it wasn't prime at all. Ordered rare, it came medium and while tasty, several of the meat pieces had a lot of gristle. Definitely not worth the $38 price tag. I've had better steak at Golden Corral which if you ever eaten there, this comparison will make a lot of sense. The restaurant was very noisy. Since it was NYE, that is probably to be expected. I'm not sure what it would be like on a more normal day.
Bottom line: we enjoyed our visit and if invited by friends for dinner would probably go again. Not sure we'd voluntarily choose to revisit on our own based on this visit - which may be a bit unfair since again it was a busy holiday evening.
Went to Tag to celebrate the last day of 2017 with my husband, our son, and his girlfriend. We had the special menu and it was exceptional. The seafood, the beef, the desserts and the wine pairings were creative in content and presentation, and delicious. The wait staff and management were attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. It was a perfect way to end the year.
