Our food was cold. Husband sent his back due to it being cold & egg on second round was not fully cooked. Waitress rarely checked on our table & hadnt realized our salads had not been delivered. Then she brought wrong salads. Manager never came to table. Over priced for hamburger joint. Will not go back and still have money left on gift card.
This place is great for burgers and beer. Burger options are good and came to us perfectly prepared. Fries were crispy and tasty. Friday night noise level was deafening so difficult to have a conversation after a movie. I still like the place for casual dining.
Food was very good and atmosphere is very energetic and kid friendly. Burgers were cooked perfectly and duck fat fries were fantastic. Kids loved playing corn hole and coloring on the front patio concrete with the provided chalk. My only complaint was the amount of time it took to get our food. We were seated for almost 2 hours and only ordered burgers, fries and a shake for dessert. It was a very busy Saturday night so I won't complain too much but I might choose another night next time we go. Definitely make a reservation as the wait for those without one was 45 minutes.
I am always happy when I come to TAG burger. The staff is friendly, the burgers never disappoint and it's usually easy to get into
Not too impressed. My husband and I love Tag but our latest experience at Tag Burger was not great.
Burgers were hurriedly thrown together and toppings falling off at service. Fries (duck) WAY too salty - and we like salty so “too salty” is a rare event. The truffle fries were just drowned in the cheese/truffle sauce. Was like 10oz of ranch dressing on a small bowl of salad. We will not be going back. Five guys or smash at one end and ignite at the other both have superior burgers and fries at more justified prices.
Great burger. Very loud atmosphere on a Friday night. Decent value, but itemizing a burger (breaking out separate charge for the bun/type) should be included in base price of burger.
Good burgers and accomdating servers. Loud, but alive.
We have been to TAG many times and so were surprised and disappointed in the experience. I was very clear that I didn't want pickles on my plate. Burger came with pickles seeping on to the bun. When I brought it to their attention, they took away the pickle and put the burger on a fresh plate. This after I asked them to make me a new one. Another person at the table had requested her burger done medium, and it came cold and raw. They did fix the problem, but she had to watch us eat while they were making hers. It wasn't a particularly busy night, so I don't know what was going on.
Our server was very nice, though I think a slight reduction of the bill would have been in order.
I probably won't be back.
The burgers were great and the boozy shake was delicious. Our server was helpful and made some great recommendations as well. The sweet potato fries were average and the burger was a tad small. We will def be back again!
The burgers are really good! My bun was cold though. Other then that very good flavors!
Loved it. Filling without being overstuffed.
Burgers were great.
Fries cooked in duck fat were great.
Only complaint wold be the mac and cheese. Not enough for my palate. Next time I'll just ask for more cheese. Live and Learn
First of all, the burgers are amazing. Compact, but full of flavor. Also in love with their fried pickles, they fry the whole spear instead of doing it chip style. Plenty of good beers on tap. Their shakes are very yummy, although I’d recommend getting the larger size because the small wasn’t enough lol! Only thing is it can get pretty loud inside the restaurant so be prepared to speak up.
This is our 3rd visit to Tag. Food was not great. Got one persons burger cooked wrong (ordered medium rare was served well done). Waitress took a beer off his tab for the error. Place was not that busy - so expected the food to be as good as previous visits- just not great. Pretty flat.
Enjoyed food and drinks
A little too noisy at times
I have already recommended to friends this evening.
Everything was delicious and fun atmosphere.
This restaurant is HIGHLY mediocre. Cooking a burger is incredibly easy. TAG’s burger was mediocre at best. It wasn’t bad, but I’ll probably never go here again, because why pay for an overpriced burger AND tip when I could just go to Park Burger, or LarkBurger, or Smash Burger, or any restaurant in the city that has a burger on the menu.
A go to for a quick, no -fuss meal. Good food and great service. Thanks!
Disappointing experience. We had been here a few years back and it had decent but expensive burgers. Tried non -burger options and all were misses. The duck fat fries were coated in sugar. I had a $16 prime rib and caramelized onion sandwich. More onions than beef. Friend had the mac and cheese that was grainy cheese and slightly crunch pasta. Service was no better than the food. When we commented that the fries had lots of sugar on them as the waiter was clearing away an uneaten 3/4 of the order. He commented yes "sugar and paprika is what makes them so special".
This place should have better food. Great location, great ambiance and good service. It's always busy but the food just is never all that good.
This was our second time and we loved the food and the service. My burger order came out without any toppings, but this was quickly fixed. Otherwise, the Meal was very good and we will be back!
It was hotter than the hinges of hell in there!!! Seriously!!!! You aren't fast food your paying customers want you to turn on some damn AC!!! It made for a miserable dining experience.
This was not the same Tag Burger and Bar I went to 2 years ago. The service was just okay. My friend ordered a beer and had to remind the waiter about it after he didn't deliver it for 15 minutes. The burger was good but the duck fat fries were not as good as 2 years ago. They were a little greasy and too sweet.
Burgers and fries are excellent. Nice neighborhood feel, and wait staff very helpful.
Delicious! Duck fries are the bomb! Godzilla and CO proud were both very tasty!
The second time was not as good as the first. We loved the food the first time, but for some reason this time didn't hit their own benchmark. So they are 1 and 1. See how the rubber game goes the next time. Seemed louder and food was average warmth. We had to send a burger back because it wasn't well done as we asked. They took the old burger and put it back on the grill, which I think is gross, and dumb. But we were hungry so whatever. So maybe we won't give it a rubber game.
Enjoyable three generation evening with choices for varied tastes.
Great burger, good beer selection, comfortable seating, an all around good time.
Great restaurant and really good food. The deep fried pickles are a staple and the burgers are awesome as well as the wings. Service was great and always is. Never went thirsty once.
The bison burger and duck fat fries are great. Lots of brunch options and bottomless mimosas.
Every time we go to TAG Burger Bar I say I'm going to try something other than the Truffle Shuffle ... but I rarely do. It's THAT good! The salmon burger is a close second, though. TAG Burger Bar is where we head whenever we're in the mood for a good hamburger!
Awesome food! One of the best burgers that I have had here!! Also, amazing fried pickles.
Best burger I've had in months. I recommend the Lady Gaga Bison burger.
Great service. Great patio. Thanks!
This was my third visit, but my parents' first (visiting from out of town). The noise level was a little high, but I attribute that to a large table of prom-goers (not obnoxious, just having a good time). The service was excellent - our server made several food & beverage recommendations. The 303 Cheesesteak burger is quite possibly the best burger of all time! Enjoy!!!
Burgers were way under cooked, almost raw. Waiter hooked us up. Remade everything and did all he could to turn our experience around. We Love the place.
I came here for the first time with a friend for brunch. we decided on this place because of the reasonably priced food and bottomless mimosas. We both wanted to try their seasonal mimosa but we're kind of iffy since we weren't sure if we'd like it. Our waiter, Tim, told us he'd bring us a tester so we'd know what we were getting into. It was delicious! So smooth and tasty! Next came our food, I had the salmon benedict which was so full of flavors that melded so well wit each other, it came with a side of 'tag' potatoes which are really just hashbrowns but are equally delicious. Now we had spent some time there and decided to add a biscuits and gravy to share. And that is the only thing I'd change. In comparison to everything else I'd had from there it was seriously lacking in the flavor department. It was just ok. Our waiter was so good and very attentive, until it came close to the middle end of our visit. He was always right there with refills for both of us and very polite. He must've gotten busy because we kept seeing him less and less. Now I would go and see him again despite this. Overall I would definitely go back, and plan to!
Another fantastic meal - last year, in honor of my daughter's 16th birthday, we spent a few weeks visiting Denver's top rated burger places, and this was her favorite. She chose to celebrate her 17th here as well. The burgers and craft cocktails are outstanding, the service is knowledgeable and attentive, and the Brussels sprouts app is among the best I've ever had. The deep-fried Oreos? Looked great, but the adults at the table never got near it - maybe two orders next time!
We will definitely be back.
One of, if not the, best burgers I've had in Denver. Really friendly service and lively atmosphere. Great neighborhood spot.
Nice location. Food was average. Service was pretty good. Inside was loud, even before the screaming kids arrived and sat at a nearby table.
