About

Tabule is a Middle-Eastern restaurant located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario. The flavors of Tabule are at once exotic and comforting. The dishes are prepared in such a way as to be friendly to diners who may have never experienced these particular flavor combinations before, which has made it a hit with tourists and a favorite spot for locals. The husband and wife team of Chef Rony Goraichy and Diana Sideris work hard using fresh, quality ingredients and their broad cultural knowledge to create dishes that are unique and exciting.

Some of Tabula's dishes, like the fried eggplant with lemon-garlic dressing, will be familiar to guests. Ma'anek is an incredibly savory Lebanese spicy beef sausage rolled with Middle Eastern spices and pine nuts.

Can't hold a flame against this restaurant. In fact, not even a single small birthday candle after mentioning it when we reconfirmed by phone bc they had switched to another reservation system bookbinders, when I arrived at the fit, and when my birthday guest got seated when she arrived! Could do better.

Authentic food, consistent experience. I have been going for years with friends and family. The only issue is finding a spot to park !

I just love, love, love Tabule. My friend and I come here all the time and whether its for lunch or dinner, the quality control in this place is spot on. Everything is perfect. Ambiance is nice and quaint. A really great spot to eat in Toronto overall. I'm part Middle-Eastern myself and the food here is honestly just as good as if I was eating at a family get together. If you haven't tried Tabule's, what are you waiting for?? :)

For those enjoying sharing tapas and various Middle Eastern dishes this is an okay restaurant, but quite noisy when crowded. Friendly service. The Queen Street twin restaurant has a lovely patio however and seems less congested.

Food was excellent. My beef skewer was cooked to a perfect medium. We had a sampler platter as an appetizer which was also delicious. Service was a bit slow at times. I was also turned off a little. I brought my 5 month old baby in his infant carrier which was sitting in a high chair that was provided by the restaurant. I was holding my baby at one point and the restaurant asked if i really needed the high chair as another table could use it. That was extremely rude.

The falafels were light but crisp and the lamb skewers were tender and perfectly cooked to order. Although the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed or intimidated to ask questions. The desert was wonderful!! However, the rice, was a total disappointment.
A good reason to visit are the shows - belly-dancing & how they pour your water.
The prices were actually fairly reasonable. After tax, the total bill for our meals was just over $50 CAD.

Excellent food, we'll prepared, we'll served. I wish they would cut the belly dancing.

I have eaten at Tabule more than I can count and each time I am disappointed by the lack of accommodation and common sense. In traditional Lebanese cuisine, serving hummus, garlic or tahini sauce when ordering meat or chicken is a no-brainer! The owners are cheap. My colleagues and I gave up on this place because really how can someone eat shish tawuk without any sauce? Why would you not bring a table spoon of hummus with our meat dishes? Is that 50 cents too much for you to absorb when on average a main course is $18? I ask for garlic and tahini every single time, my meat gets cold while I wait... Sigh. Don't think about getting a lick of hummus, it is not "allowed". They want you to pay $7 for a whole plate as an appetizer... Fail.
