I would recommend to a friend for drinks on the water but not for dinner. Besides the beautiful views of the water, the first thing we noticed was that there was pepperoni on one of the vegetarian options, which is odd. Although everything we ordered seemed to be entree-like options, 2 of our meals were more tapas type but priced like entrees. 5 small stuffed grape leaves with goat cheese is not an entree and should be listed under “little bites”. The lamb kebabs also had whole (what I believe to be) cardamom pods in it, which were offensive to eat. These are normally cooked with and then removed from dishes, not served.
Thank you Ally for your feedback. You're right about the mini Pepperoni, it doesn't belong there, correction has been made. The grape leaves are under vegetarian option, but they also fit under the little bites category, we chose the later, they are priced for $8, that is certainly not an entree price. Basmati rice is cooked with few Cardamom pods, in our opinion it is not offensive at all, just like finding a bay leaf or a piece of cinnamon in a vegetable soup. Cheers!
Local place with "non-chain" menu featuring Mediterranean dishes. Not to be confused with the wedding venue by the same name and location. This restaurant/bar is on the patio only and open Tuesday through Friday dinner at only. Amazing views of waterfront, great service, impressive wine list. We will be back!
Food was excellent - ahi tuna salad in particular was unique and delightful. Service very slow, especially when we were trying to pay and leave. We had a nice waterfront table on the outside patio, which was great for my dining companion, but I was looking into a pile of trash... not so appealing. Still, a very comfortable ambiance overall and I would go there again if I were in the city.
Visiting the city. Made a reservation online 4 days prior to night. On the day of my reservation I went online at OpenTable to move my reservation to an earlier time slot. I received a confirmation of the reservation time. When we arrived at Tabrizis there was a sign on the door Closed for a private party. Doors were locked and dark inside. We had just walked over a mile to get there. Very disappointed that a restaurant would confirm a reservation when they are CLOSED. I would like to have given the restaurant 0 stars. But the website required a post
Delicious appetizers! Best stuffed grape leaves ever and excellent tabbouleh.
To be in Baltimore and serve crab cakes that cause you literally to search for the crab isn't normal. We won't be back
We went for Iranian food. But Mainly it has delicious Mediterranean food. The service was a little slow. But, it was compensated with beautiful outdoor scenery and good food.
There is nothing nicer than sitting on a patio on the waterfront surrounded by boats dining with friends, sharing hummus and ban ganash to start, then a fantastic, generous serving of lamb chops. My wife and friend said the "catch of the day" - salmon - was wonderful. Perfect evening
The views from the outdoor seating is one of the best, but it doesn't open everyday or on regular basis.
We had a great time celebrating our anniversary. The weather was great so we sat on the outdoor patio overlooking the marina. Food was great especially the crab meat and avocado appetizer and boneless ribeye steak entree. Drinks were great and well priced during their 5-8p happy hour. Service was great and very personable.
We were VERY disappointed in the food and service of what was one of our favorite al fresco restaurants in Baltimore. The chicken cordon blue tasted like it came out of a box, was microwaved, and doused in a weird white sauce. Yuck. The crab cakes had a lot of strange herb filler. Only one was eaten, and there were no sides. I don't know if there was a change to the chef or what, but they are not what they used to be. Oh, and the service was terrible. Overall, very sad.
Great food and drinks and a happy server to boot. They added some lights and planters to the patio for added touches. On a Friday evening, there was live music, too. We live it here.
Wonderful food - enjoyed lamb kabob and tuna tartare! Beautiful views of the harbor!
Confirm before you go that the indoor seating area is open, we did not k now. while seating outside was nice for us that particular evening, it's not always.
Always pleased with Tabrizi's. Food is delicious, innovative and generously portioned. Staff is attentive, prompt and friendly. Lovely waterside view in a quiet nook nestled among the condos. Get the combo appetizer. The green lip mussels in kale were enormous and nearly too much to finish, even with help. Desserts were okay; I've had better creme brulee and the German chocolate cake was dry (tho our waitress took it off the bill).
A little pricey for what you get. Menu very disjointed. They can't decide to go tapas or traditional menu
We were greeted by a hostess who seemed genuinely happy to see us. We sat outside on the water. The tables were nicely set. The view was pretty cool and I highly recommend the Chilean sea bass dish!
I'm not from the north and.that could be what influences my review. I found the venue/area quite ugly. The water is so polluted and the oil sheen is think in the top of the water. I can't imagine having a wedding there. The food.on the other hand was spectacular and the staff was super nice!
We returned to Tabrizi's to enjoy outdoor dining and what we recalled was excellent food. The weather and ambience did not disappoint. The babaghanoush appetizer was excellent (but skimpy on the pita) but it took over an hour to get our meals - (the problem was the kitchen - not the very pleasant server). The lamb was chewy, the burger wrap was cold, and the pizza (while tasty) had a crust that was difficult to chew.
I recommend that you go to Tabrizi's for appetizers and leisurely drinks and enjoy the view.
To Tabrizzis for a fabulous evening-under the stars-weather permitting...if not ...in the picturesque dining room.
Great Meditterean food , wonderful service and terrific wine list.
We felt the food was a hit or miss. We were the only customers there on a Friday night, which was very strange. Some things mentioned on the menu are not part of the dish..for example "honey mustard" & a type of cheese. The location is beautiful but I dont know if I would recommend the restaurant to family and friends.
Dined outdoors last week with 6 business colleagues. Outstanding food and service. The ambience and venue (with boats in the background it was like being on a caribbean island) promoted great conversations. Great wine list. Everyone left happy. Could not have asked for more!
This place has no second like it. This past very rare Saturday they were open (closed on Saturdays due to many weddings) with a beautiful evening and quiet boats hovering the waters in this beautiful marina, our appetizers came promptly as ordered: A tuna tartar with avocado on a single bed of green seaweed salad, with just the right hint of lemon juice and sesame oil infusion, and the mozzarella caprese. The tomatoes on the caprese were served at room temperature as they should be with this classic light Mediterranean dish, and drizzled with basil oil and black salt. Delicious! We proceeded with the Sea Bass and my guest chose the soft crabs. Cheers! Space for full review is limited here.
We sat outside so rating the noise level is not applicable. We could not hear other diners but there was a certain level of ambient noise just from being outside. We enjoyed the evening. Food was excellent, service was fine, and the wine list was good. We try to go to Tabrizi's once a year when we are in Baltimore on our boat.
great service, beautiful spot, interesting menu and wine list. Food combination innovative but not always pitch perfectt--underseasoned or flavors that clash at times.
Best Chilean Sea Bass ever. Desserts ho-hum. But the ambience, view, and rest of the menu more than compensated.
If you like waterfront dining amid boats and upscale neighborhood, this is the place.
I've eaten here several times- first time booking through opentable. View is spectacular, and so is the food. We had the raw salad, seabass and a bronzini special (whole fish) that were incredible. Everything is prepared with care and the server was knowledgeable, friendly, but not overbearing. On a warm summer evening, this is the place to be!
We are frequent diners of Federal Hill. What we mostly like about Tabrizi's is the fact that it is hidden away from the Harbor Touristic scene and it offers genuine Middle Easter and light Mediterranean dishes. We love their silky hummus and the special Bronzini along with the Rack of lamb salad we had this past weekend which was prepared with couscous and lemon garlic light sauce. The bottle of the Sauvignon Les Fumées Blanches 2011 J&F Lurton, Vin de Pays du Comté Tolosan. Funky, fresh packaging and punchy, intense flavours. If you like the mouthwateringly crisp gooseberry and green apple flavours of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, you'll love this. Parking is free for 3 hours which is a scarce commodity in Baltimore City.
WE really enjoyed our dinner at Tabrizi's after the Preakness. Service was impeccable and fun.
My wife and I had a very nice table outdoors in the beautiful neighborhood. This is our second visit there. Our server (Zack) was prompt knowledgable and courteous. My wife had the Sea Bass and I had the rack of Lamb, both were very delicious. For dessert, we shared the baked Camembert. Parking was very convenient adjacent to the restaurant and free.
