The staff was really attentive and kind on the phone and in person. They didn't rush us but made us feel comfortable, and even remembered my birthday was a dessert. The food was excellent: tasty, fresh, and interesting ingredient and spice combinations. I loved it!

I love the food here!
When I dine at Taboon , I typically stick with ordering appetizers for sharing.
The variety of the appetizers is always very good and satisfying.
The entrees don't disappoint but I prefer to share the appetizers.
The wine list is typically good as well.
The service has always been great.
Unfortunately during our last visit the waitstaff was a bit intrusive and we ended up feeling rushed through our meal.
Reservations are a must . It can be very difficult to get a table without a reservation.

This was our second trip to Taboon. The food continues to be absolutely wonderful. Had the chicken, which was moist and delicious. Salads and mezze are great. Try the roast cauliflower. Service prompt and courteous. A very pretty restaurant. Enjoy!

We decided to try Taboon prior to the theater on a Friday night. I'm very glad we made reservations, as the restaurant filled up quickly. Our server was very attentive and made suggestions along the way. The food, from the appetizers, to the main course, to the desserts were all excellent! We will definitely return to Taboon on our next trip to NYC. I highly recommend it!

This is my second visit to Taboon. I was underwhelmed and will not return. It's very expensive for variations of hummus. Taboon's signature bread does not pair well with their spreads. It is good as a stand alone bread if you like an olive oil infused seaasoned bread. I found it a bit too oily. It's too seasoned and oily for their spreads that are dense, flavorful, and heavy. a lighter less seasoned pita would be a better match for their spreads. This is the only bread they offer except for one that is filled with cheese which would be and even worse match for their spreads. They have this great bread oven and they should have more varieties of bread. The menu could use more vegan options. Menus is a bit limited and we found ourselves going through it several times to find items we wanted. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional.

Wonderful place for all things hummus / babaganoush / lamb kebab. Very authentic, the open kitchen oven concept is well done. Together with the delicious cocktails all four of us had a wonderful time.

We’ve enjoyed this restaurant for years. The food is delicious and creative. Only disappointment was the change in bread served. We miss the other, prior, pita like wood oven baked bread that was replaced with a focaccia type. Please put the other bread back on your menu so we have a choice!

I love Taboon and it has been a family favorite for many years, but we found it to be ridiculously overpriced for what little food we ordered on our last visit. Three appetizers and two drinks were over $100. I'm not sure we'll be running back there as we have in the past due to the high prices. Food is still great, but it is no great value and there are many other restaurants to try.

Terrific food. Get a lot of items and share. Appetizer portions aren't small, and the entrees looked substantial. Good atmosphere. Wait staff were good people, but a little too eager to rush us out of our spot.

The food at Taboon was excellent. We selected several small plates - Meze - to share, and every one was delicious. Wonderful combinations of flavors, fresh herbs and spices. The dining room is very attractive - so it was an overall enjoyable experience.

The mezze and the accompanying bread were all outstanding. We would have continued to the end by just sampling all the mezze, but fortunately, one of our group wanted to try the chicken, the name of which escaped me. It was superb! An Israeli Cabernet was excellent, although the wine list didn’t have much under $50. We’ll be back! Great service, too. Thank you Tanya!

We were a party of 4 and they sat us in the front, kinda dark, when u first walk in. While a lovely sun shinning table was empty the entire time we dined. Then as we were leaving, their- what looked like to be friends showed up, a party of four and took the lovely sunshine table. Good food, small portions, very small for the big portion eaters. I would recommend when reserving a table to request the room with the windows and sunshine, if dining during the day, if not any table will do.

I really liked the food - very authentic and tasty . A very nice vibe to the restaurant. I was tempted to give the restaurant 5 stars but I didn't as the food was excellent but not unique - but I wouldn't go to this restaurant if you want unique. this is just very well prepared, fresh food that tastes great.

Taboon is one of my go-to restaurants whenever I want to have a delicious meal and incredible hummus. They have homemade bread that goes perfectly with their hummus. I went for brunch with a friend and they have great shakshouka options and regular brunch choices. My shakshouka was very good. I would highly recommend!

Four of us really enjoyed dinner. The food was excellent! We shared some Mezze and a few mains-really loved the focaccia and dips, as well as the baked cauliflower, octopus, and crab shawarma. Fantastic date sivan for dessert. The service was friendly and attentive. Look forward to returning to try more dishes.
