Table Three Ratings and Reviews
The ambiance is great although the restaurant was very chilly the night we went. The food was mediocre at best. I got paella and it was over cooked and mushy. My husband got the salmon flatbread and it was undercooked and the flatbread looked store bought and doughy. Food was very expensive and not appetizing.
Unfortunately, even with a new chef (2 months in), this restaurant continues to disappoint. Food is average at best, service is snooty and unnecessarily distant. We have dined at Table 3 many, many times, and they never seem to remember us. Strange! They peg themselves as fine dining and the only part they seem to get right consistently, is the high price.
The suggested spicy Z wine was not spicy at all. The stripped bass was over cooked and the cost for the evening did not reflect the quality one would expect. We have gone there about 3 times before but this was a more serious dinner ( not just appetizers and drinks) and it fell way short of our expectations.
We have loved Table Three in the past but Saturday night we were very disappointed. The waiter was abrupt and not very attentive. I ordered scallops and 20 minutes later he came back and said they were out of scallops. No big deal, but then one of our entrees showed up undercooked. We sent it back and of course by the time it came out again we were all finished eating. The new chef came by and we told him what had happened and he blamed someone in the kitchen. “The buck stops here” doesn’t apply to chefs I guess. No one offered a free dessert for our inconvenience (and btw we were celebrating a birthday and I checked that box on the reservation but nothing was said about it.) When we spend $150 for a dinner for two we expect better treatment than we received. We won’t go back for awhile and hopefully they will fix some of this. We love the patio and have always, in the past, been a big fan of the restaurant so this was really a big disappointment.
Nice ambiance and great food. Service was very slow and there were only three other tables filled while we were there. I appreciate that it takes time to cook a good meal, but this was a bit much. Waiter never returned with our checks. We had to find someone ourselves.
Excellent bar with a nice drink selection, and finger food bites. Outdoor area is wonderful to relax and enjoy. Nice wine choices. Service was outstanding both inside and outside. Our outdoor server engaged us with friendly banter as new understood we were out having a great time...... recommended.
First time visit. Was very impressed. We had a hard time choosing so asked our waiter, John, to choose for us. Garlic cheese yum, tuna nachos very good, chicken tortilla soup excellent, bacon and sausage flatbread more like a pizza than flatbread but still great. Will be going back for main course later. Need to introduce a tasting menu...
Terri our waitress was exceptional, even allowing me to borrow her own personal reading glasses. We ordered our courses as we went and never felt rushed. Even the young man who bused our table was friendly and attentive. Beth, the owner, stopped by on two occasions and chatted with us like we were old friends. To top it all off the live Saturday night music was a blast to listen to outside on the patio. Altogether, my date and I could not have asked for a better experience.
As per usual, Beth, the owner was out greeting her customers with a smiling face. The new chef has put some interesting items on the salad and dessert menu as well as quite a few specials. We sat on the patio and enjoyed great music presented by the live band. You can always be assured of having a great time at Table Three.
The food was amazing. We had lollipop lamb appetizers, brisket burgers and frites, and Spanish Paella. All dishes well seasoned, well prepared, and high quality. The price was rather high comparing to the restaurants in the area, but the quality of the food and service was great. The amount of food wasn't much, but was enough. We definitely didn't have leftover. We wanted to be at the patio with live music, but the music on Sat would start at 8 pm which would be way beyond our dinner time. The other restaurant in the opposite corner of the block was a daring competitor as the price was way lower and the music at the patio was already there.
Food was good. We have been here many times prior to see a movie at the theater across the street. Only complaint was the bar was out of Crown Royal...my husband wasn't very happy about that. (I don't understand how a bar can be out of something like that...).
The food was overpriced. The steak had a butter/sauce that was unpleasant. The scampi were overlooked and not flavored properly. The drinks were weak. The waiter talked way too much. The waiter was slow to notice when our drinks were gone. Water was given in the beginning, but not refilled. The scallop appetizer was delicious but not enough to make up for the rest of the meal. Also I got the best salad, I asked for no goat cheese, but got goat cheese, but since it was oddly deconstructed, I worked around it. But the deconstruction did not add anything to the salad, it actually took away from it. It was nicely decorated.
The food was amazing however the customer service was fair. When we were there, the servers seemed to be having many disagreements about their sections and they aired some of their grievances in front or around us. Their patio is amazing. The over all atmosphere seemed to be a bit pretencious, they should relax more and have fun!
