Table Mountain Grill and Cantina Ratings and Reviews
We generally enjoy eating at Table Mountain Inn and chose it for our Father's Day celebration. However, it was disappointing this time. Despite having a reservation, we were seated in the bar area with televisions that are a distraction for young children even when its just playing golf. In addition, it was extremely noisy in the bar and we could barely hear each other at our table. Finally, our server seemed to have either too many tables or too many tables which were not in the bar so we did not see her very often.
Love this place. We stayed there to celebrate our third wedding anniversary . We always eat there when we go to Golden. Co. The food is outstanding and the service too. Big stoutout To Dan our waiter. He is a wonderful waiter and very knowledgeable about the menu.
Stopped by on the way to a Red Rocks show. 5:00 reservations. easy free parking 2 blocks away. Pretty quiet, prompt cheery greeting. service immediate, attentive but discrete. Taco apps excellent, shrimp taco entree good, house specialty Trout (which was recommended twice)was an overcooked mush.
Overall, assuming my entree was an aberration, pretty darn good. Decor is bright, fresh and appealing. Prices while not cheap are not at "rip off the tourist" levels.
Driving from out of town we generally go to The Fort preshow. We will add the The Table Mountain Grill and Cantina to our list.
My children, both adults, and I stayed at the Table Mountain Inn while in town for two concerts at Red Rocks. We had three meals at the Grill and Cantina and enjoyed all of them. I highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel. Great food and accommodations and a terrific staff. This place is a gem!
We are not from the area, but we have been to TMI before. This occasion was a 3-day return to Golden to visit family. Our memory (2014) of the hotel AND restaurant is what prompted the return. Here we go ...
Still great service and food! The pork chili is something extra special. The staff works together with smiles to generate customer satisfaction.
We will return to the area in another 2-3 years. And when we do, we will certainly eat (and perhaps sleep) at the Table Mountain Inn.
While the ambiance and service was lovely, the food and drinks were slow to arrive. The food was not as interesting and delicious as it used to the be. The enchilada had way to much chicken to other ingredients ratio and the sauce was skimpy. Having to pay for sour cream seems petty.
This brunch is good, but it used to be better. There are very few small cheesecakes but there used to be trays of them. The shrimp smelled fishy. The eggs benedict wasovercooked and the bacon was swimming in grease. The waitstaff was friendly, but did not refill beverages unless I found them and asked. I still enjoyed the brunch, but the quality has definitely dropped.
Once again, the Table Mesa Inn and Cantina was outstanding. I took a friend to the Table Mesa Inn and Cantina for dinner. She ordered something I had never tried and said it was delicious. I had my old standby and it too was amazing. The best thing was that the wait staff did not rush us even though it was a busy Saturday evening. We had many things to discuss and took a little longer than usual, but the staff was patient and no pushy.
Very pleasant restaurant and nice place to have dinner with friends. We had the Buffalo pot roast and the Santa Fe shredded beef burrito. Both were very good tasting although the temperature was warm not hot on both dishes so don't think they left the kitchen immediately after they were cooked.
We enjoyed a very relaxing and delicious lunch. The food was outstanding, but the service (Alex) was even better!! My wife is on crutches and they went out of their way to accommodate and help us. The Margaritas, Chicken enchiladas and Carnitas burrito was great, especially the beans. Do try the guac and home made chips!
Five stars and + for the service!!!
We'll be back!!
Absolute best holiday buffet around. Senior price also. Very well run with constant resupply of buffet items. Reception does everything possible to get reservations and walkins seated. Ice sculpture "shrimp luge" was fabulous. We've gone for years and will continue to do so.
For a crowded Christmas brunch it was okay. The four of us got stuck at a small table near a busy aisle. The wait staff were friendly and did a decent job considering there were so many diners there, the place is huge. The food varied, the eggs Benedict was weak, the prime rib was excellent. I would come back for a Mexican meal on a quiet evening. I would not recommend any restaurant at this point for a holiday meal - it is a challenging situation for the best of restaurants.
