Table Mountain Grill and Cantina Ratings and Reviews
We always love going to Table Mountain Grill and Cantina. I happen to know that their Chile rellanos are the best! I was actually watching calories and ordered chicken fajitas. They were great. They were not swimming in oil. The ambience is one of our favorite things about the place. And our waitress was very nice. Fun place.
I made this reservation about a month in advance for two birthdays. They only brought one dessert with a candle and charged us for both desserts which we had to have them correct. Service could have been much better. Our server was extremely quiet and even though we tried to engage him his attitude towards us is he really didn't care what we had to say or if we were there or not. I frequent this place and had out of town guests with me. My advice to management is to work on your servers. The hostess was good but somewhere along the lines our two birthdays for a party of 9 were ignored. Food was very good, great price for what you are getting, I do love that. Great margaritas as always.
My wife and I came here on a whim looking for something different for brunch. We were both pleasantly surprised! My banana bread French toast was delish, while she had biscuits and gravy. She said it was the best sausage gravy she has ever had. We will definitely return! Plus, it wasn’t busy! Best kept brunch secret in Golden!
The buffet was outstanding with many options to choose from: Carved meat, salads, desserts, custom omelettes, fish, cocktail shrimp - and, that's just what I can remember. The service was terrific, as well. I frequent Table Mountain Inn regularly, but this is my first time trying out the buffet on a holiday and I would definitely recommend. A little on the pricey side, but it was on a holiday, so make sure you eat your money's worth.
The location has an interesting and, for locals of a certain age, some memorable and colorful history.
In it's current incarnation, it is a lovely, enjoyable restaurant. The service is great ; well staffed by professional servers.
The food is topical, tasty and well presented.
We, most recently, enjoyed their amazing Christmas day buffet.
The food was good. The service was spotty. I use my drink remaining filled as a litmus for service. Having been a waiter the drink “test” was often applied and remains a decent indicator of the wait staff.
The place is loud yet friendly atmosphere. Server was friendly and engaging.
We had a disappointing visit to the Thanksgiving Holiday dinner this year but were treated very, very well by Dan. We had come in for Thanksgiving in previous years and it was good, so we decided to come in for a Christmas luncheon on the 17th and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. It was quiet enough to talk, the food was great, the atmosphere was really nice, and the server was very attentive and efficient. Great experience and i am really glad we had an opportunity to come back.
We'll be back again.
We used to come to TMI all the time, years ago however, I hadn't been in ages and thought to come for my favorite previously favorite TMI dinner of the Cherry Chicken. The chicken was over cooked, the sauce was not what I remembered and weird, dried cherries were used instead of fresh, and the veg consisted of all carrots oddly chunked and WAY undercooked. the sweet potato fries were also undercooked.
Our server was very nice and attentive. At times perhaps overly attentive, but generally no complaints on the service.
The meal was highly disappointing though and considering how expensive it is to eat at TMI, I won't be returning for any meal service any time soon.
We made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner for 2 people at 430. The hostess didnt seat us until nearly an gour after the reservation even though there were several empty tables we could see that really just needed to be bussed as this was a buffet. They were already removing the dessert trays and said they were out of pie by the end of the meal. Clearly, management knew they failed since they comped our meal, which is respectable but doesnt make up for ruining a holiday meal. I wouldnt recommend the TMI to anyone and, although I live nearby will never return.
I was very disappointed in the Thanksgiving venue and buffet at table mountain Inn. I had made reservations well in advanced for 430pm, and even called to confirm. My friend and arrived approx 1 hr early to notify the host there. We were told that they were way behind and could not seat us until at least 530 or an hour later than my reservation. I had also noticed many walk in customers were also being accommodated ahead of my reservation.
When we were finally seated, many of the buffet offerings were being closed down or had run out.
Overall this to me was unacceptable and I feel should be reimbursed in some fashion.
This event was poorly planned and overpriced based on my experience. It seems that the focus there was everything but good customer service.
We made reservations about a month before Thanksgiving for thanksgiving dinner. Upon our arrival, we were told they were about 30 minutes behind because they overbooked, when in reality it was more than an hour or more. We can't rate the food, however, as we were never called to sit. Service was poor. What we did see was a large gathering of discontented patrons waiting as we were, over worked and stressed staff. It's best we weren't seated as I would have been perturbed paying so much for mediocre (at best) service. Reservations mean nothing there.
