Table Mountain Grill and Cantina

Need to book at 8:15 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Having the reservation made in Open Table was great, we got right seated right on schedule.
We were disappointed with the food in that it wasn't temperature hot. We should have mentioned it at the time, but they were busy so we just made do.
I think our dinners were largely victims of the renovations going on at the restaurant and the limited kitchen availability. We won’t return until construction is completed in April. That said, my salmon dish was adequate but the side of spinach was so salty as to be inedible. My dinner companion found both her salmon and spinach too salty as well. Usually this is a pleasant place to dine with good food so I’m hoping this is a brief aberration.
It worked for pre-theatre dining at Miner's Alley. The complimentary cornbread muffins were heavenly. The grilled chicken I ordered was covered with bread and heavy, so not what I expected for "grilled chicken." I didn't ask if there was a veggie burger, but didn't see it on the menu. The sauce for the fingerling potatoes was delicious and the green beans not overdone.
A bit hard to maneuver through, but very good service.
Not the friendliest waitress to start. Ordered a Moscow Mule and I only tasted the ginger beer. Not a strong selection so ordered fajitas which was average.
Table Mountain Grill is a great lunch spot. It's comfortable, not crazy loud, and the chili rellenos are excellent.
Food was ok. Little noisy because of renovations. No rush to go back.
Made reservations & still got a table next to the bathrooms & main traffic area. Food was dry & thru changed the menu, not as good. Service was slow, forgetful & distracted. Noise was high, couldn't hear ppl right across the table. They let private parties reserve parking, so even though you're a guest at the hotel & restaurant, though have to walk at least a couple blocks to ur car in public parking- which is less secure. Won't be back & have family stay here any more.
We have been going to this restaurant for years and I would always give it 5's. It's not their fault really, but this visit wasn't as good due to the construction going on that closed the bar area. Using the lobby for the bar area makes things more cramped and noisy. They still did the best they could however.
We were crammed into a booth with very little leg room or table room. It was irritating right off the bat. Moving through the room was difficult because the tables were too close together and there were too many patrons in the room. I would say it would be hard to exit if there was a fire. The waitress was horrible. She was curt and constantly in a rush. I was not told when happy hour ended. When I wanted another glass of wine, she was not to be found. I had to get up and get help to find her. When she took our bill she dropped my credit card on the floor and another patron saw it and brought it to us. She said they were short-handed and there was a death in the family. That is unfortunate but not my fault. There should have been more people on the payroll to cover such occasions. I wanted to order something and couldn't because I was told the main kitchen was not functioning. All in all, I had an unpleasant experience. I go to restaurants for the service as much as the food and I left pretty mad that I was cheated for the money I had to pay. I have been to the TM Grill and Cantina many times before and it was much better but I doubt I will go back for a long spell.
I would wait until their remodel has been completed. The menu was very limited and my food was just OK and not as described on the menu. Wait staff person was a little short with us.
Our server was amazing! We have eaten here before & raved about the food. This visit, however, was not the same experience. The food tasted ok and came out cold. I hope this change is temporary.
Always love the ambiance and southwestern/Mexican menu here. Looking forward to what's in store after completion of renovations
I took some friends here for lunch after the Quilt Museum. They were blown away. Charming atmosphere, friendly wait staff, generous portions of wonderful food. It's the perfect place for ladies who lunch.
Good , as always. However, food came to the table lukewarm.
Excellent pan-fried trout, maybe the best I've had besides creekside over an open fire.
Food was good as usual, service was not up to standard
Amazing everything...food, atmosphere, bloody mary’s and margaritas! The patio is a must in sunny weather!
We come here often and usually have a better experience. There seemed to be a shortage of staff or we didn’t have a very attentive server.
The following were noted as issues:
1. Slow service. A few tables in our section were waiting at different phases of their meal for attention.
2. No one proactively walking around with coffee and water refills. I needed to stop my waitress for more coffee and this was during a breakfast shift.
3. Breakfast served and staff mentioned that the toaster “got away from them” as I was handed burnt toast. She asked me if was ok with it. I requested more. She responded “I don’t blame you”. I waited another 15 minutes for more toast. Many tables including ours then had to wait to ask for jam. Not sure why that wasn’t brought with the burnt toast.
4. Breakfast tacos were small with no side included. So my daughter ate the burnt toast that was left on table with the jam that finally came.
We go here about once every few months and this was the poorest experience. Not sure what was going on there that morning but definitely the staff seemed fried and tired
The holiday buffets are awesome! Nice variety of food.
Food prep took a long time. My daughter and I ordered the same meal but didn’t receive the same food. Service was great and food tasted good.
great service - real busy evening - food tasted great
Waitress was not too good. Used to be my favorite margarita. Not so much now.
Crappy American pop music volume must be lowered.
The food was excellent and so was the service
Excellent customer service and great food. Would come back.
I brought my sister and her husband from St. Louis to Table Mt. Inn Grill for a Western experience.
One very good restaurant where you can actually carry on a conversation- especially if you reserve a booth. Food is approximately priced and very tasty. Great service too.
We got lost due to gps failure and Sarah was so helpful and patient getting us there. Then everyone was so helpful with my dad's special mobility needs. Then our waitress, Amberlynn, was probably one of the best servers we have ever had. The food was delicious! Fabulous place!
Lackluster to say the least. A table behind me had young children that they were unwilling or unable to discipline. Little boy screaming in my ear while I was trying to dine with my companion. No class. Food ho gym. Service flat. Margarita best thing of the night. Won’t be back there anytime soon if ever.
Great Chips & Salsa to start. Server was very attentive. Excellent food at a Great Value.
This used to be our favorite spot. We love 45 minutes away so don’t get there regularly. Last time we went was for lunch but it has been over a year since we went for dinner. We took 2 friends with us on Friday night and ordered our favorite go-to dish the Piñon Cherry Chicken. So sad to find out the dish was totally different and quality was poor. Chicken was dry, cherries weren’t sweet, they no longer have mashed potatoes and instead serve with crispy potatoes that are really more like French fries. And the price is still the same $20. Not worth it it all. Didn’t even finish our meals. Sadly, time to find a new favorite dinner spot. Likely won’t ever go back.
The Thanksgiving buffet is amazing! Many, many options, together with all the traditional Thanksgiving dishes and all as good as homemade (without the work!).
The variety of food served at the Thanksgiving buffet was incredible. They had several types of cusines available, which made it delicious for me (vegetarian). Thank you for a delicious, classy meal~!
The Thanksgiving buffet was exceptionally good this year with many tasty vegetable dishes. My husband enjoyed turkey with all the trimmings, and I was very happy with shrimp, crab and a plate of inventive vegetables. I especially enjoyed the corn with oysters. Our server was attentive and friendly.
4 of us dined. Pork carnitas were not tender and extremely fatty. Left most on the plate. Trout was very good. Margarita was made well
Service was a bit slow but it was also really busy. It’s all about the food which was terrific! One of our favorite spots.
Disliked premade scrambled eggs! Will remember to order sunny side up or fresh made omelet from now on! Bacon was not hot, but delicious biscuit! Nice cinnamon rolls, but liked the smaller ones of the previous years... these were bigger, but dry! Still edible!
Great service and friendly!
TMI’s booths are perfect for a serious business lunch
We were excited to visit a Golden staple restaurant. We were sat near a table of 6 who were incredibly loud and vial. Even the table ahead of us looked back shocked by their words. I asked to be moved to another table to get away from this group. Host was so nice about the move. Even the manager helped us move our items. The table of 6 got the message and lowered their voice.
The food was okay. 1 sliver of fish in our fish tacos. The fajitas were fine, nothing exciting. Don’t order the guacamole it’s a heaping spoon size for $10.
Our servicer was not great. She didn’t check on us until we were nearly done with our food. I asked for a drink, but by the time it came we were done with our food.
I don’t think we will come here again.
We love eating at the Table Mountain Grill. The food is always well prepared and tasty. On Saturday night we were celebrating two birthdays. Our waitress was fun and efficient. The food was delicious. And we shared the chocolate taco for dessert. Yummy!
