BOCADO Ratings and Reviews
It was my first visit, though my husband had been before. I was not disappointed by spending Valentine's Day at BOCADO, where we shared duck fettuccine, mussels, crab cakes, a bottle of wine, and a delightful chocolate mousse to top it off. 5/5 I'd go back.
We love Bocado and are frequent visitors, but our last experience there this weekend was not enjoyable. It took forever for our food to come (the manager did let us know it was running behind but that was after we had already been waiting for someone to stop by our table), the kitchen was flooding near the bathroom, and the server laughed at us when we told her we weren't happy about the 30+ minutes for our entrees to arrive. I think we will stick with sitting at the bar when we go to Bocado in the future.
We made reservations for 7:30pm - they ran really late, we didn't sit down til 9:30pm but they took care of all our drinks and our dinner. They certainly made up for the wait and the service was excellent. I am not sure what happened that evening but they made up 100% over for their lateness.
We had a reservation for 7:00 and we were not seated until 8:00. We kept being reassured that our table would be ready any minute, which is what kept us hanging around. The restaurant itself is so noisy that you can only talk to the person sitting closest to you. The food is fine, nothing spectacular. We will not be going back and I cannot recommend this restaurant.
My family and I have eaten at Bocado many, many times over the past several years. Their food never disappoints, and our recent meal at Bocado was just as good - maybe better - than our first meal there soon after the restaurant opened in Atlanta. While the restaurant is most known for their hamburger, we usually choose other items on the menu. The trout and chicken dishes are outstanding. I highly recommend Bocado.
The menu consisted of about 6 entrees. The portions were tiny and the burgers were good but absolutely nothing special. The bill was over $100 and we left hungry (4 adults). Definitely not worth it. And the service was also lacking despite the place being at 50% capacity.
The food and service was great! Will made our New Years experience very memorable, thank you! We will be back! Things to try.. the burger, deviled eggs( add the caviar), and the broccoli and lentil dish. The cocktail list was pretty special too! Just a great experience!
This is now my 5th time coming to Bocado and I am in love even more. The ombiance, the food, the service from the minute you step out of the car to the end of the meal was absolutely exceptional and most importantly consistent. Thank you to the chef and the team for creating a space with great food and great vibes.
We had a wonderful experience. My husband is still talking about the burger and the deviled eggs were superb. I am a vegetarian, and the chef put together an outstanding vegetable plate for me. So, if some people are turned off because there are no vegetarian options on the menu, don't be! The vegetable plate was outstanding.
Went to BOCADO after attending a football game downtown. Weather was cool and the indoors seemed noisy. We sat outside next to a portable heater which made for a lovely evening. To top it off, the custom-tailored gin drinks were matched by the tasty, filling small plates. Hope to visit again soon.
