Table 50 is a fantastic gem. From the attentive service to the perfectly cooked steaks it was a pleasurable dining experience.
Great chicken dish!!
Our waitress, Monica was phenomenal!!!! ask for her table, you won't be disappointed!!! she deserves a big tip!!!!
Mother's Day was the occasion. Most of the food was very good and well prepared. One does wonder whether they were ashamed of the filet mignon - they put a sauce on it that was reminiscent of A-One. My wife scraped it off. Good meat does not need to be overwhelmed.
First time. Will return.. Crab cakes were good with los of crab and not filler.
Table 50 again delivered an excellent meal of perfectly prepared salmon - crusty of the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. The server, Gloria, was attentive and happy to accommodate my special requests. My husband enjoyed a pasta dish with Italian sausage. I would like to see some new dishes on the menu which has not changed in some time.
Amazing food with a very attentive wait staff. Took several people for a business dinner and they were all very impressed
This is our go-to place in all of Roanoke. My wife has the standing order of mussels every time we go. Her favorite she says of all the ones she has had. They are great. Love Table 50 for all occassions.
Our first time staying in downtown Roanoke. We enjoyed a wonderful meal starting with a bottle of Rex Hill pinot noir and appetizers of the beet salad and crab cakes followed by entrees of filet mignon and salmon. The bread pudding dessert was yummy.
Our server, Jill, was fantastic!
Delicious innovative dishes and great service. Perfect atmosphere. Convenient parking.
We’ve always enjoyed this restaurant. Consistent and enjoyable. A couple of us had a ribeye special and it was perfectly prepared. Unfortunately the cut was not up to par. Somewhat tough and stringy. I make this comment because the chef might want to be aware and speak with the supplier.
Waiter was great and the food was very good. Pricey but affordable options. Difficult to say no to the specials though. Will go back
Great location for a customer business meal. Good wine list, drink list, and food quality is excellent.
Visiting from out of town for corporate training. What a treat!! Excellent food and service. Interesting menu with thoughtful presentation. Worth the trip to Roanoke!
Interesting, varied menu and friendly staff. Wait time for the entree was a little long, but the salads & drinks came quickly.
Excellent as always. A favorite restaurant. Great food, spectacular service, amazing atmosphere!
Fantastic meal and specials for the night. I will come here again
The filet was one of the best I have ever had! The noise level was a little high.
While we did not actually dine at a table we sat at the very comfortable bar and had beverages and appetizers. The drink selection was very good and the appetizers were wonderful. The bar service was very good as well. We play to go back on our next visit to Roanoke!
Table 50 is my favorite restaurant in Roanoke. We've always had great service and we've always had great food! There's always something for everyone and we especially like the variety of appetizers available.
Food and service was outstanding! Can’t think of any negatives. Good wine selection, too.
We love this place. It is our favorite in all of Roanoke.....
The ambiance was great, good lighting and mood for a date. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the seared lamb as a starter and it was very tasty. They have a huge selection of wines. Service was great too. Overall 5 stars from me.
Excellent food and service, everybody very friendly, been there a few times and will go back
Outstanding service and the best meal I've had in Roanoke. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the duck .Both cooked perfectly.
Very poor experience last Sunday night. Ordered the rib eye medium rare asked the waitress to please don’t over cook my steak. She served it somewhere between medium well and well done. Sent it back it was cooked more to order but was the WORST steak I’be eaten. The experience was enough to ensure I’ll never return.
We love the place. Our favorite restaurant in all of Roanoke. We never go wrong here.
I had the crab cakes and they were not cooked properly. It was like a slush of crab. The appearance was even gross. Our reservation was at 5 pm when the restaurant opened and they were out of a sauce for a dish and breaded pudding. How are you out of menu items when you just opened? We won’t be back.
Restaurant week. Cheap ribeye. Not the not the normal grade of quality. Cold. Sent it back to have it heated up and when it was brought back, none of the sides were with it.
Consistently good food and service. Great specialty drinks.
My husband and I did restaurant week this week, food was fantastic, service was awesome. Everyone was kind and gracious. The New Orleans BBQ Shrimp are out of this world. This is also one of the places that has the best cocktails in Roanoke!
Atmosphere was great. Loved told tin ceilings, and lighting helped to make it a cozy place for dinner. Food selections were diverse, although the featured three course meal option was a bit confusing for the uninitiated. Had the salmon for my first visit. It was well prepared and delicious. Would recommend to others and will be back again.
Table 50 is a long-time favorite in Downtown Roanoke. This was Roanoke Restaurant Week and we visited on Monday night. For appetizers, we ordered the Maryland Style Crab Dip - a very large portion of delicious cheesy crab served with sliced baguette. (would be a perfect afternoon snack with drinks) and Cornmeal Fried Oysters - beautifully fried and crunchy crust. For entrees we had the Inner Harbor Crab Cake - always a hit with nice lump crab meat. Also the Dry Aged Ribeye - unfortunately a fair amount of gristle. For dessert we selected a chocolate mousse pie with berry sauce that we brought home. It will make a perfect late night snack. Service was relatively efficient although the place was packed. Staff is friendly and helpful - a good experience all around.
Arrived about 10 minutes prior to reservation, but were seated without issue.
The atmosphere was very nice, yet it was a bit difficult to hear the server and ourselves due to a packed dining room - it was Roanoke Restaurant Week and we completely understand. This didn't stop us from enjoying our experience here!
House wine selection was great. The charcuterie plate was a nice starter to enjoy between two. Greatly appreciated the fact that our server, Tina, took the minute to explain which cheeses & meats were on it.
Starters were NOLA BBQ shrimp that carried a nice and not overwhelming heat. I got the cornmeal dusted fried oysters (four) that was well balanced and cooked perfectly.
Main course included a spot-on medium-rare cooked to order 12oz ribeye. Substituted the mashed potatoes with sautéed mushrooms and didn't look back. Those mushrooms were incredible! Wife got the crab cake with grits and it was served at the right temperature.
Dessert, we both ordered the whipped chocolate torte with crushed oreo crust and crumbled Heath bar topping. Wow! Amazingly light, yet satisfying. Paired with a cup of dark roasted rich coffee, you can't go wrong!
So for the first visit at Table50, we are blown away. This restaurant hit all the marks of a high end establishment that respects the culinary industry while taking care of their customers.
We will definitely be back soon!
The food was delicious. We did go on restaurant week and the portions were small. The waitress was wonderful however, the hostess said they needed our table for other reservations some time after we had finished eating and asked us to leave and go to the bar.
The waitress suggested the ribeye and I'm glad she did. Very good steak.
The entire experience was wonderful. We went this time during restaurant week and got the same excellent food and service with the special menu.
Service was truly wonderful, but the food itself fell short. We started with the lamb lollichops - which were so-so. Lots of gristle, but cooked to temperature (mid-rare) and nice and tender. Followed with the crab bisque and herbed goat cheese salad - both good, but not exemplary. Soup would have been a thumbs up, had it actually had bits of CRAB in it. Mains were buttermilk fried chicken and shrimp & grits. Chicken was moist and tender, but lacked flavor. Grits were great, but too much “gravy” and shrimp were terribly over cooked. We finished it all off with the chocolate mousse and ice cream, which was quite good - wish the entire meal had been as appetizing! We’d go back for the service and to have drinks - the “Grapefruit” was exceptional!! - but, regrettably, dinner was subpar. Was hoping for a better overall experience.
The service was wonderful and great drinks! Wonderful hamburger great sides and appetizers.Beautiful restaurant. My only complaint is I ordered the duck it was not seasoned well or cooked properly. Was disappointed especially since it was one of the more expensive items on the menu. But overall I would recommend this restaurant, make sure to try the crab dip.
