The ambiance was great, good lighting and mood for a date. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the seared lamb as a starter and it was very tasty. They have a huge selection of wines. Service was great too. Overall 5 stars from me.

Outstanding service and the best meal I've had in Roanoke. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the duck .Both cooked perfectly.

Very poor experience last Sunday night. Ordered the rib eye medium rare asked the waitress to please don’t over cook my steak. She served it somewhere between medium well and well done. Sent it back it was cooked more to order but was the WORST steak I’be eaten. The experience was enough to ensure I’ll never return.

I had the crab cakes and they were not cooked properly. It was like a slush of crab. The appearance was even gross. Our reservation was at 5 pm when the restaurant opened and they were out of a sauce for a dish and breaded pudding. How are you out of menu items when you just opened? We won’t be back.

Restaurant week. Cheap ribeye. Not the not the normal grade of quality. Cold. Sent it back to have it heated up and when it was brought back, none of the sides were with it.

My husband and I did restaurant week this week, food was fantastic, service was awesome. Everyone was kind and gracious. The New Orleans BBQ Shrimp are out of this world. This is also one of the places that has the best cocktails in Roanoke!

Atmosphere was great. Loved told tin ceilings, and lighting helped to make it a cozy place for dinner. Food selections were diverse, although the featured three course meal option was a bit confusing for the uninitiated. Had the salmon for my first visit. It was well prepared and delicious. Would recommend to others and will be back again.

Table 50 is a long-time favorite in Downtown Roanoke. This was Roanoke Restaurant Week and we visited on Monday night. For appetizers, we ordered the Maryland Style Crab Dip - a very large portion of delicious cheesy crab served with sliced baguette. (would be a perfect afternoon snack with drinks) and Cornmeal Fried Oysters - beautifully fried and crunchy crust. For entrees we had the Inner Harbor Crab Cake - always a hit with nice lump crab meat. Also the Dry Aged Ribeye - unfortunately a fair amount of gristle. For dessert we selected a chocolate mousse pie with berry sauce that we brought home. It will make a perfect late night snack. Service was relatively efficient although the place was packed. Staff is friendly and helpful - a good experience all around.

Arrived about 10 minutes prior to reservation, but were seated without issue.

The atmosphere was very nice, yet it was a bit difficult to hear the server and ourselves due to a packed dining room - it was Roanoke Restaurant Week and we completely understand. This didn't stop us from enjoying our experience here!

House wine selection was great. The charcuterie plate was a nice starter to enjoy between two. Greatly appreciated the fact that our server, Tina, took the minute to explain which cheeses & meats were on it.

Starters were NOLA BBQ shrimp that carried a nice and not overwhelming heat. I got the cornmeal dusted fried oysters (four) that was well balanced and cooked perfectly.

Main course included a spot-on medium-rare cooked to order 12oz ribeye. Substituted the mashed potatoes with sautéed mushrooms and didn't look back. Those mushrooms were incredible! Wife got the crab cake with grits and it was served at the right temperature.

Dessert, we both ordered the whipped chocolate torte with crushed oreo crust and crumbled Heath bar topping. Wow! Amazingly light, yet satisfying. Paired with a cup of dark roasted rich coffee, you can't go wrong!

So for the first visit at Table50, we are blown away. This restaurant hit all the marks of a high end establishment that respects the culinary industry while taking care of their customers.

We will definitely be back soon!

The food was delicious. We did go on restaurant week and the portions were small. The waitress was wonderful however, the hostess said they needed our table for other reservations some time after we had finished eating and asked us to leave and go to the bar.
