Tiffany was an amazing server. The food not so much. The chicken dish was extra salty and the Mac and cheese was terribly bland. We got crab cakes instead but they weren’t much better. Didn’t want to make Tiffany feel bad about another dish so we just boxed it up to go. Would have been nice to have a manager stop by. Tiffany did extend us dessert but we didn’t really eat that either.
Overall the food was ok, aside from the scallops and creme brule, which we enjoyed. We are glad we visited but we wouldn't be quick to come back.
Great as always. Scallops are as as good as you’ll ever have.
Visiting from out of town - great food and wonderful service.
Always a favorite. Drinks are delish and the food is excellent.
Great Place! We love Table 50 and always go there for our special occasions.
Great place to eat. Great food for the price. Fantastic ambiance.
Wonderful service! Incredible food!!
Great food. A little pricey but fair for the quality. Very dark inside.
Great service and food, as usual. Thanks for a great evening.
We had a lovely anniversary dinner at table 50. It was intimate and classy and our server was so professional and did a great job. They made sure everything was sanitized. Even during a pandemic they made us feel special.
While driving home to Alexandria, Virginia, my husband and I stopped in Roanoke. He took me to Table 50 for my birthday, and it was one of my favorite dining experiences in months. The food was delicious. We ordered the goat cheese salad, salmon entree, and chocolate mousse pie. Our server, Monica, was very attentive, and her timing was perfect. I asked a question about one of the dishes, and the chef, Mike, came out to our table to speak with us.
I rarely write reviews, but it was that good. We loved it so much that we will return to Roanoke just to eat at Table 50.
First visit to Table 50. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. Our server was very good. Our first courses of Fried Oysters for my husband and Crab Bisque for me were both delicious although the soup could have been hotter. My husband ordered the Charcuterie plate for his entree and enjoyed the selection of meat and cheese. I had the Shrimp Scampi and it was tasty but the portion seemed a bit small for the price. All in all, it was a good dining experience and we were pleased with Table 50.
The food was great and we left feeling very satisfied from our meal. Some of the best food we have had in Roanoke!
Everything from service to the food was great as usual.
We had a delightful early dinner "under the stars". The outdoor experience was a welcome diversion from eating at home for the last 2 1/2 months. Table 50 made our experience special with great service, food and wine. We will return.
The food was quite good—special thanks to the kitchen for allowing me to mix-and-match menu items. Everyone at the table was very satisfied. The honey-infused butter was an enormous hit! Service was excellent.
Great food and drinks. Crab cake and fried oysters were outstanding as were the drinks - particularly a jalapeño margarita.
Table 50 never dissapoints. Has become our "go to" in Roanoke when we want a great meal in a well run restaurant.
It was very nice. The food was delicious and my husband had one of the specials-the surf and turf. The special was a little pricey for what he received on the plate, but he did say it was good.
I was eating light that night so I had a 3 item charcuterie and the lamb lollipops while sitting at the bar. The house cured duck on the charcuterie was delicious - I wish I had ordered double of that! The lamb was also good - tender and flavorful. They were busy that night but the service was still very good and attentive.
Skip lunch because the dinner menu is SO good, you don't want to miss a bite. We had gnocci starter, caesar salad, shrimp and grits and crab cakes, and creme brule (standard AND espresso - yum!). The wine selection is great. The kitchen was quick, and we never felt like we were waiting long between courses. Our server seemed as though he may have been new, as he was less informed of the menu specifics and did not know the wine list (but hey! It's quite extensive.). Our orders were 100% correct though, so all in all - no harm done. We enjoy coming here for a nicer date.
We made reservations here for a birthday dinner. Good food, great cocktails! The staff was very friendly. It was my first visit to Table 50 and it was an excellent choice!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. However, this evening we came in early and the waitstaff seemed to spend more time socializing than attending to their customers. My meal was excellent (the fried oysters were perfect), but my wife's filet mignon was dry and slightly overcooked.
We’ve been here several times and never had any issues. However, coming here on restaurant week, with friends that have never been to Table 50 before, we were very disappointed...
We had 8:15 reservations... we got seated at 8:36.... we got asked what we wanted to drink another 20 minutes after that, with no clear server ever being established. We got our entree about 10:00 or later, with my salmon being well well done (not requested) and my husbands ribeye overcooked (suppose to be medium rare). We ordered our dessert from the options clearly given by our server, and were later told that the chocolate creme brûlée was no longer available.
We left the restaurant at 11 pm, almost 3 hours after our initial reservation. Very disappointing that we had no server engaged or caring of our table, after only having nothing but positive experiences previously here. Hopefully, table 50 can better prepare and deliver for restaurant week and busy weeks in the future.
Always perfect, Mikey is the best.
I love this restaurant but this time I felt like we were being rushed so that the next party could have the table. Normally the service is great, so maybe it was just a bad night.
The food was very good. The portion was nice but not overwhelming.
Food was amazing and the place was hopping during restaurant week. Our Book Club always goes to Table 50 during restaurant week because of the wonderful food, wide array of choices and service. We will be back!!!
We went for Restaurant Week and had a great time! The menu had nice choices, food was delicious, service was great and timely. Will 100% be back.
Came in for restaurant week. One of the best crab cakes I have ever had! Sides went with it so well. Omgggg the cheesecake. Everything was great!
Always a nice meal!
Wonderful food as always! The crab dip and the crab bisque wa perfect for the cold weather!
We enjoyed Table 50 during Roanoke's Restaurant Week. It was a very nice way to try an appetizer, main course and dessert for one set price. My husband and I ordered differently and shared. Everything we ordered was excellent. The fried oysters were cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth. The New Orleans style BBQ Shrimp was very flavorful and spicy. The crab cake was loaded with crab. The shrimp and grits were very tasty, wonderful flavor. For dessert, the caramel cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake were delicious. The portion sizes were smaller, but we very much enjoyed all three courses. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant does get very loud when busy.
Always a delight. The crab bisque is whats up. Table 50 is the best Roanoke has to offer.
We were seated at a table that basically looked into the kitchen. The swinging door was active all night and very distracting - not to mention a quite unsightly view. I ordered the salmon, it was fairly flavorful, but I was sick before ever leaving the restaurant. Not a good night at Table 50.
Perfect anniversary celebration. Very attentive and friendly staff.
Lots of variety on the menu, reasonably priced wine list, and well-made drinks.
We enjoy all aspects of Table 50 except the noise level. They really need to add some sound muffling. It’s annoying that restaurants receive feedback about noise level but don’t comply. This is a common issue.
I asked our group of 8 what we had to complain about and the unanimous answer was nothing. We had salmon, filet, rib eye, crab cakes, shrimp and grits as well as salads and desert. All done very well! The service was good, the drinks were good.
