Table 3 Restaurant and Market Ratings and Reviews
May be my favorite restaurant in Nashville today. French style cooking (but not too fufu French). Menu has all the classic French entrees you expect coupled with some innovative twists and daily specials . Wine list is the most extensive I've seen in town created by one of the best someiliers anywhere. Related wine shop next door is exceptional.
First the good: It was a rare night in Nashville when it was really cold outside! We were grateful when we walked in & the restaurant was plenty warm & cozy. The lights were low, the music while present, was not overbearing. We felt really good about being there! Staff was friendly, service was good. My husband’s Old Fashioned was excellent & my white wine was superb.
Now for the bad:-/ If only the food had been even half as good as the ambience. I ordered the salmon, cooked medium. It came out medium rare, which was tolerable, except the entree was cold. The salmon & veggies were cooked but it seemed like they sat out afterwards & came down to room temperature.
The hubby ordered a skillet of white beans with a couple cuts of duck & pork & bread crumbs. It was almost too dry & crumbly & parched to eat. He had to choke it down.
Both of our entrees lacked flavor, so much so that we both added salt to our dishes which is something we almost never do.
This place has great ambience & had high ratings which is why we chose to go there. I don’t know if something changed in the kitchen, but this food really was not good. Hopefully with detailed constructive feedback they can improve. As it stands now, we wouldn’t eat here again.
We brought 4 new people today and they loved it. We are fans of the place and so glad our guests Where impressed. One couple said they had had eggs Benedict and Brennans in New Orleans and yours were better. Everyone loved your home cured ham. Thank you for making this such a successful day
Amazing turnaround! I will be back!!!! I am thrilled because it is the best place to go before the movies. We had three people taking care of us. Prior Table 3 had a rough time over the last two years. The service was terrible. A server jammed my foot in the door, the floor was slippery with grease and the food wasn’t good.
We always love Table 3. My trout was amazing. Service was really wonderful. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 Star on food was my husbands omelet hardly had any cheese. He gets this frequently and this is the first time it was sadly lacking the cheese in his cheese omelet. Everything else was perfect.
We arrived early enough for dinner that place was empty. Hostess answered phone and spoke at length with customer as we waited to be seated. Server forgot our salads, and never asked if we wanted bread. Amazing to me that bread was not part of any meal - even if everything else is a la carte. Food was pretty good, although didn't particularly think it was a good value. I think with a few"extras" and good service, it would be perceived as a good value as it was a very pleasant restaurant.
Service was slow. Expensive lobster was dry & over cooked. When we asked for melted butter (did not come with lobster) some other sauce was delivered. We had dinner for 8 & I thought way over priced for what we were served. I ordered vegetarian mushroom pasta & it was served in a clump in a big soup bowl. After taking desert order we were told later they were out of three of them. Table & atmosphere & valet parking all good. Food not so.
This was our first visit and we were very impressed. The staff were all friendly and prompt. The food was incredible! I ordered Coq Au Vin and it was fantastic! My husband ordered French toast off of the brunch menu and really liked it. Our drinks we ok, not outstanding. My husband ordered their Bloody Mary and they had a small area with a few ingredients to add. I ordered their Pomegranate Mimosa, it was ok, but not worth $12. Overall, we would definitely suggest dining there, I would suggest a good glass of wine.
I really like this restaurant but part of its appeal for me has been its quietness. It is a great place for business meals because of that and also for special occasions. However on Monday it felt as though we were in a bar!! It was so loud we could hardly hear each other for the first part of the meal. It is going to have decide what kind of restaurant it wants to be.
