    Mushroom appetizer was good except for the French toast. I expected better than a hamburger bun. Pork ribeye was excellent. Didn’t know what to expect with the rice “grits” but they were very good. Like a risotto. The braised oxtail was something new for us. Honestly reminded me more of a very good pot roast. Personally didn’t care for the seasoning. Worse part, and I don’t fault Table 28, was we were seated near a table of cackling women. Folks need to be respectful in restaurants and keep their voices down. Other tables don’t need to hear your conversations.

    Quail Lollies were as always perfect, peach burrata refreshing. Our table was happy with the pork chop, shrimp grits but 2 of us had the calamari & it was overly spicy, we ate a little bit but brought it home to repurpose into a cioppino after rinsing the red pepper off.

    The food was mediocre, and the service was noteworthy for all the wrong reasons. Our first two visits were excellent, but this time, there was a discernible decline in almost every aspect of our experience. I was disappointed by the entire experience and disheartened by a once very promising restaurant.

    Our server was amazing. Gave an excellent recommendation for my husband. We were here for an anniversary would definitely come back again. I had the quill lollies, duck curry, and berry tart. My husband had the quail gumbo and oxtail. It was all perfect. The food came out perfectly timed one after the other. They even gave us a sweet little card for our anniversary.

    The Table 28 crew made a special occasion even more special, complete with a handmade birthday card and beautifully decorated sticky toffee!! I have never once been less than over the moon when we visit! Thanks to chef and crew! Oh, and don’t miss out on their peach season burrata app. To die for!

    Delicious food, nothing bad touched our table. The peach burrata is genius and incredibly fresh. Our octopus chimichuri was cooked perfectly The oxtail masala was a great take on oxtail in gravy with greens. The curried duck may be more well done than I would normally order but it played very well with the dish. The tatamis was not traditional but gave a delicious nutty brown butter taste. Service was exceptional. I would recommend this place to anyone.

    The service was great, I would really love to come to back! The food was great, and I loved that the servers catered to every need!     Food was borderline cold and clearly most had been cooked or prepared in advance. Nothing was seasoned with a [proper chefs touch there just seemed to be some hot petter in everything. It completely contrasted with the dishes. To be a purported high-end place to ask "soup or salad" reminded me of eating in a low-end steakhouse in rural America. I did not complain at the time because we were with friends and didn't want to embarrass them. After dinner was over everyone said the food was very pedestrian at best. The wine did not come out for ages and clearly was being chilled since they didn't have any ready for patrons. I can only image this is a weekday place for the business crowd, and we did not have a proper cook in the kitchen on the weekend. We didn't even bother with desert. Good luck Table 28 and Scott Raines.

    TABLE 28 ALWAYS HAS A GREAT MENU, AND THIS TRIP DID NOT DISAPPOINT. THEY LACKED SOME WINES ON THEIR LIST. THEIR SERVICE CANNOT BE BEAT.

    Of the 6 of us the only dish that was sub par was the chicken thighs…they were WAY OVER done & for the most part they were burnt. Also the chopped salad is marked with a (V) yet it had ham on it. Other than that…everything else was great

    First time visitors for my husband’s birthday and it was delightful. I would suggest a mocktail menu as I’m 9mos pregnant and would have loved a fancy non alcoholic drink! The card from the staff was lovely as was the sticky toffee pudding with happy birthday written in cocoa powder. Will definitely be back!

    This was my very first time at Table 28 and I just say, i was thoroughly impressed! It was my number 1 birthday dinner choice once i saw the pictures and the ambiance that was portrayed! The food was amazing, the waitress was very nice and attentive, and the aura throughout the entire restaurant was amazing!! They made me feel so special on my birthday!! I will definitely go back!

    Hearing positive reviews about this place, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be rather disappointing. The service provided left much to be desired, and the quality of the food fell short of our expectations. However, it is worth noting that the drinks offered at the restaurant were indeed a highlight, with their impressive taste and presentation. Regrettably, based on our overall experience, we have decided that a return visit is not in our plans. We had hoped for a more memorable dining experience considering the positive feedback we had received, but unfortunately, the shortcomings in service and culinary offerings left us wanting.

    Excellent experience. While passing through town on the way back to Texas, we discovered Table 28 on Open Table. The menu intrigued us, both with drinks and food. The reality was every bit a good as on paper. Great service paired with creative food done well.
