Table 26 Ratings and Reviews
This was a reunion with friends from different cities and everything at Table 26 went perfectly. From valet parking to the host who kindly accommodated our own special bottle of wine to the EXCELLENT server Israel, who we’ll surely request next time to the beautifully served dinners - a fabulous evening! And everyone was super happy with their food.
First visit to 26 and we couldnt have enjoyed it more. The atmosphere was upscale but with a casual, warm feel. The food was very good, imaginative and generous.
Our waiter couldnt have been more efficent, friendly or made our time there more enjoyable.
I picked this place for our 1yr wedding anniversary and I couldn't have picked a better place. The ambiance was amazing and the level of service from the moment we walked in was second to none. The happy hour is great - we arrived a half hour earlier than our reservation and had some drinks and an app. Great place for a special occasion or a date. Will definitely return!
The food was disappointing, I had the ribs and my husband had the New York Strip. The New York Strip was not as good as the ones we get from Costco, the ribs were in an apricot sauce which I make myself, they were disappointing and too over grilled to Black in some area’s. The restaurant is very well appointed and the atmosphere would have been better but we were seated next to a large party and it was very loud. The staff was very nice.
Our table was ready, and our waiter was attentive in just the right way. The food was delicious, however the full wine list is grossly over priced. Retail prices times 4 or 5. The small wine list was retail times 3. You need to save up to cover the outrageous wine bill.
When we left, every table was filled and people were having to speak very loudly to be heard.
The service left a lot to be desired.. the waiter took over five minutes to get us water and bread that was not cooked completely, tasted like uncooked dough. The meatloaf was inedible.. the gravy tasted like paste. They did comp the bad meal my wife got... the meatloaf.... one drink cost $15.00 not wine by the glass.. my total bill was $95,00 with tip..the food was not worth the price.. way over priced.. the ambiance is great.. a little loud.. but not too much... love it when cars pull in and the head lights .. light up the restaurant.
It was our second dining experience here. First time was also a Saturday night, and was great. This time the food was not up to snuff Meatloaf, ribs, fish and chips, and fried chicken. Sides were great but main courses were just okay. I’ll try again in a few weeks. Maybe just a bad night
I wasn’t impressed by the food. Disappointed, actually. My swordfish came undercooked (as in raw in the middle) so I sent it back and asked for the tuna with Hawaiian fried rice instead and even that was not exciting. However, the ambiance was great, valet was appreciated, and it’s great for a pre-theater dinner location. But overall I didn’t get the value. I’m always willing to pay more if there’s value but sadly I didn’t get that from Table 26. Will go to a different restaurant for the next show we watch.
I felt a bit like I was dining with the early bird special crowd. The food was good, but in my 40s, I was the youngest customer in the establishment by some margin at 7:30pm. Perhaps they liven up a bit later. The cocktails were WAY too sweet for my taste. An old fashioned should not be cloying...
That said, the meal itself was well prepared and tasty as long as you skipped the weird glutten free bread they give you to start.
We were staying at the Breakers - it was not worth leaving the property.
Our waiter was Gerald. He's awesome. The restaurant has class, yet at the same time is not snobby. It's the kind of place that has a classy yet down to earth feel, not pretentious. We've talked about trying Table 26 for a long time but never got around to it and we're locals. I'm so glad we finally made it there, we will for sure be repeat diners there.
Disappointing. Average at best. Plating was impressive, but taste not as much. We all ordered various plates of seafood. One in our party did not care for spicy food, so when the dishes arrived the waiter offered to have it changed. The dish was brought back within a few minutes. It turned out that the kitchen scraped off the spicy sauce on the top but forgot to do that on the bottom part...a new entree would have been wiser. My coffee cup arrived with red lipstick. The restaurant was not busy. The ambiance is nice. The rest needs some work.
