Table 19 - Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette
Nice breakfast buffet and selection of food. Challenge was that the guy cooking the egg station was also responsible for filling all the items on buffet. He needed help!
My wife had the lambburger with cauliflower rice and I had the duck with carrots. We thought it was great for the price. We appreciate them making our evening special with a slice of cake for my wife's birthday.
Table 19 was a wonderful choice for our anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and Carrie was the best server. She gave wonderful suggestions from menu items. We were not disappointed with anything. Can’t wait to visit again.
We enjoyed it much
Probably not best place for Sunday breakfast buffet around 12:30 after church.
Plenty of food leftover as probably very few in hotel, and locals don’t go downtown.
The French toast was hard as bricks, and waffles were soft and soggy.
Scrambled eggs had no flavor. Sausage was not to bad.
They made fresh pancakes for one in our party which tasted more like biscuits.
They made fresh omelette for couple in our party which was so...so.
Plenty of good fruit and some muffins that were not too bad.
Staff was very friendly and service was good, but only 12 there counting our party of seven.
Breakfasts were very good. High quality and excellent serving staff.
Food was good. Wait staff was a little overwhelmed. Order appetizers before entry. Table next to us was seated after us, got the same appetizer as we ordered, but theirs arrived 12-15 minutes after ours did, and after asking waitress to check. Then we were 1/2 way through our appetizers and the entries came out. Small table, and was overloaded.
The place was pretty, the menu & bar were limited, the food was okay, and there were problems with the accuracy of the menu related to beverages. The server was great but overtasked. Felt like the restaurant was poorly managed. We made a reservation through Open Table with a special request for a decent table should the signature table be unavailable. We did a followup call to make sure. When we got there, the hostess didn’t seem to know anything about reservation or request and randomly assigned us to a regular table in the middle of traffic, which we refused. We chose a table away from the traffic right next to the one she offered. Eventually, we noticed a couple without reservations was seated in the same table we were offered. Not a great feeling. The experience was mediocre at best — nothing to brag about. This is really a shame because with the PCC Theater so close, this could have been a place we’d go to whenever there’d be an event. We won’t. By the way, the special table we requested was never used.
Our waiter,Alex W., was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the food. He gave great service. My ribeye was very tender and tasty. My husband loved his seared duck. The spring roll appetizer was delicious and the creme brûlée was excellent. Highly recommend Table 19. We will definitely be going back again.
They honored my best friends college graduation. Everyone was pleasant! Thanks so much
Service was the worst place I’ve ever been. It was busy but the waiter seemed bothered by our questions, took 20 minutes to first greet us, took so long for our food to come, we asked them to cancel our order. They did nothing to make up for all their errors/horrible service. I would not go back.
Sat 15 minutes before we got water. Another 15 for drinks. Appetizer came with dinner. Everyone around us had same problem. Some got up and left. Could have been nice, but was a nightmare.
We had a large party of 13 everyone was served correctly and efficiently. The menu selection is small but we were all completely satisfied with our food!
Excellent service! Table 19 should be noticed more and it was a wonderful experience. The brussel sprouts were amazing! Very nicely tucked away in the Pere!
Order requests were not carried out, such as, medium well items. Food was very bland. Waitress apologetic. Small discount given. Waste of money. Will not be returning.
Table 19 is tucked away inside the historic Pere Marquette - and it's certainly worth the visit. Top-notch service, great ambiance, varied menu, and food prepared and presented with excellence. Drinks may be a touch pricey but the overall experience is wonderful.
The staff was very accommodating. The food was superb! Great for special occasions! The salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes were outstanding! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
The food was well prepared and presented well. It would seem they were just short staffed on this particular evening as our server seated us cleared tables and was the only visible server/staff we saw. Overall a good experience, will be back!
This place is very nice but it isn't uptight. Went at around 11 am after a graduation, we were the only ones there so the food arrived very quickly. The staff was nice and the food was pretty good. I'll definitely go back sometime.
We took my family, 7 of us for brunch. It was similar to the continental breakfast you would get at a holiday Inn express. I'm not saying it was bad, just not a "destination" for a nice brunch. Did not try dinner or lunch, but I doubt I'll go back.
Good food, and a very sweet server. Not impressed with the way management handled a situation, and we won't be going back.
Great place for business breakfast or lunch meetings.
The food was excellent. Of special note was the charred brussel sprouts, creamed Kale, Salmon in Parchment and Shrimp&Grits. I'm looking forward to my next meal there already.
We tried Table 19 before a attending a concert at the Civic Center. It was an early table booking and we arrived 15 minutes early so the place was very quiet. I would class the interior as fresh, modern-ish and fairly clinical. Considering it was quiet, I thought our service was a little slow at times however we weren't in a great rush so it wasn't a problem. We were informed by our server that the restaurant was "famous" for it's steaks and brussel sprout side so we ordered both. We were not disappointed. I ordered the bone-in ribeye which was served in a "sizzling dish" and was cooked excellently. We both enjoyed the brussel sprout and cauliflower side dish which had a sweet, spicy flavor and was absolutely delicious! Now, I do not think, being of English origin, that anything is to die for, especially food, and I save the "awesome" word for the Grand Canyon, however the dish certainly rates very highly and with the restaurant version of mac and cheese was just, for me, a super pairing.
For Peoria I thought the meal was a little pricey and hence this wouldn't be an every week hang out for us however I would certainly recommend the restaurant and we will definitely return in the near future.
Table 19 is a nice restaurant with great food. Their menu is very limited but fairly priced. It's located next to the bar, which makes it very noisy.
The place was empty and the service was extremely slow, it took at least 5 minutes to order our drinks and 10 more to get them. The wine list is limited and they didn't have the one we selected. If I have their food again I will probably order carry out due to their poor service.
The food and drink are pricey - $13 for a martini on the rocks - but the service was good and the menu is interesting. Meat portions are small. We had a table of six with theatre tickets and were taken care of in plenty of time to make the curtain.
We came for dinner and a show. We ordered our food, it took a little longer than expected. As we are waiting for our food we noticed a lot of people were still waiting on theirs and they arrived before us. A lot of the servers were bringing food out and did not know what table the food went to. They then went back to the counter to ask where the food goes, all the while the food is getting cold by them walking back and forth. when our food finally came it was nice to look at, and had a great taste to it. It may have just been an off night. I would recommend it to others and would probably come back again, but not soon. Food is a little pricey for the amount of food that you receive.
The food was good, served hot and delicious. The place is decorated nicely and their bar menu is top notch. The prices are moderate to high, depending on what you get. The service was ok, but nothing outstanding. You cant beat the location if you are staying at the Pere Marquette or court yard.
Waited 15 minutes before the waitress even came to the table, AFTER we asked the hostess. Waitress didn't explain show menu correctly, so my meal was more expensive than it should have been, didn't ask if we wanted small or large Caesar salad, just brought the $9 large. My husband's entrée was good, but overall, it was a very expensive bill for our experience.
Table 19 is a must for those traveling to Peoria, in the Marriott Pere Marquette Hotel, another. This place has an excellent menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch they have a “Farm to table” Buffet, local fresh items. A great healthy lunch. Fresh local food at a great price. I live in Houston, TX but work close by and come at least once a week to eat. I've brought my colleagues and they are all very interested to bring their family and friends. All of the staff works very hard to make you feel welcome. A special thank you to Danita, she is very attentive and very interested in making your visit extra special. Thank you to servers, Lisa and Jessica, they are the best. Be back soon and often. Hope to see y’all here.
I met a colleague at Table 19 for a business lunch. Good food and service! I will return and will recommend it to friends and colleagues.
Birthday breakfast for my boyfriend and it was WONDERFUL!!! and AMAZING!!!
THIS RESTURANT IS IN A VERY HISTORIC HOTEL IN PEORIA,ILL WHICH I HAVE VISITED FOR 20 YEARS. THE RIBEYE ON-THE-BONE STEAK WAS DRY, NOT JUICY,AND SLIGHTLY CHEWY.
MY WIFE STATED THAT THE FILET WAS DONE WELL.
WE WILL TRY THE BRUNCH IN THE FUTURE,BUT WE WILL DO DINNER WHERE WE KNOW THE STEAKS ARE BETTER.SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT,BUT I WENT FOR THE STEAK.
PS: FOR SOME REASON WE DID NOT GET POINTS FOR USING THIS RESTURANT!
We had a great experience at Table 19 from great service to great food. Everything was timely and had a nice selection for everything. I am not a fan of Brussel sprouts and was told they are worth trying... I admit they were pretty good!
Had the Farm to table buffet. Fresh foods for local market. Soups, Salad, vegetables. will be back again.
Celebrating our anniversary with a special dinner. The meal and service was excellent. The menu is small but has a good selection. The salads were wonderful - I had the strawberry and my husband had the Pear. We were given complimentary desserts from the manager. Will visit again.
Steaks were great - even though the kitchen made them wrong. I ordered the skirt steak medium, my husband the NY strip medium rare. His came out medium and mine medium rare. They made me a new one and sent the undercooked one home with us since my husband said he'd eat his strip medium. Service was great and our server Jessica was very attentive. Sadly, we were one of 4 tables in the entire restaurant at 7pm on a Saturday night. Pretty decor but still very clear your eating in a corporate hotel chain restaurant. Brussel sprouts were awesome, as was the asparagus.
Wonderful Food - Great Wine list -
Wait staff is very nice. I have been here for both dinner and Sunday brunch. I like their Sunday Brunch bec. they do not have alot of choices. The Roast Beef was excellent on the Sunday Brunch. The food is really very excellent.
The atmosphere was very nice. Food was good but our waitress was way too casual and a bit spacy for the feel of the restaurant.
Table 19 is a bright and energetic alternative to the dark and formal standard for business dinners in Peoria. The open airy decor and abundant windows with street views gives Table 19 a very comfortable and spacious feeling.
The menu offers the standard steak and potatoes fair as well as innovative plates that could have come fresh from a central Illinois farm kitchen.
On the three occasions I’ve entertained a group of customers at Table 19, the service has been prompt and courteous.
